The Limetree Bistro 5.0 star review: Ate here with two friends of mine who are regulars. I had been a few times before. I love this place Service is always pleasant, smiling and efficient. The food as always is homemade, fresh, piping hot and very tasty. Both myself and my friend had homemade burgers whilst the third member of the party had cottage pie. For desert two of us chose trifle the third opted for sticky toffee pudding. The atmosphere is lovely here very homely indeed. I would highly recommend this eatery and I will be back soon again.

The Limetree Bistro 1.5 star review: I eat here regularly enough and while the food is usually decent (nothing fancy) I had a horrible experience recently. Big portions for the price and they do half portions also. A negative point is the menu doesn't change very much at all. The vegetable side with the dinners is always the same any time I visit. The establishment itself has a nice decor, reasonably spacious and good atmosphere. Staff are usually always friendly and prompt to serve you.
However, myself and a friend had dinner here both ordered the lamb. Came with the usual, stuffing, gravy, usual selection of veg. We have sadly both been off this establishment as a result of this meal.

The Limetree Bistro 5.0 star review: Have eaten here a few times when im down that way or passing through. The food is really nice and the staff are nice too. Food is reasonably priced. Could stay open a bit later in the evenings though.
