Dined here saturday night, loving setting to this restaurant, food was excellent and proper portions provided, wine was very tasty too, only fault i could fing was the service was a little slow.

Meal here was part of pacakage deal so not expecting too much as restaurant is part of hotel . Service excellent , good choice of food and overall very pleased

The service was awful. No other way to put it, just awful! It was a shame, because the food was actually quite good. If you don't mind waiting over an hour for a steak you may not have ordered, and 20 mins for a drink, it's a great spot. And as if 20 minutes for a beer isn't bad enough, when asked where the drink was, the waiter argued with us and said "It has only been 15 minutes!" Never again unless I get a signed statment that a certain staff member is no longer working there.

Went with a group of guys on Saturday night. The restaurant is nice, what you'd expect for a steakhouse. The steaks are good and really liked the pepper sauce, although anyone who ordered medium well got well done (not me though, I was happy!) The only problem was the service, nice guy but didn't have a clue. Waited over 1/2 hour for menus and orders, then another 45 for the food to arrive (just mains). Asked where it was and he just stared off into the distance squinting like he was waiting for it to come over the hill or something! Ordered a couple of pints which come from the hotel bar, would have been quicker going in myself and drinking them in there. Overall a nice place but management need to focus on training staff a little batter and not to argue with customers.
