We've been to a few chinese restaurants in Kilkenny and this one is by far the best. They do a good value early bird with a good selection of dishes. I've eaten at this restaurant on a number of occasions and have never found fault with the food or the service we received. Excellent overall.

Myself and my partner ordered from Emerald Gardens last week. My partner had eaten at the restaurant a couple of years previously so was eager to try their food again via delivery..... BAD MOVE. The food was of appalling standard. Possibly the worst Chinese food we have ever ordered. The chicken 'balls' were stale and hard. The curry sauce tasted like it was from an instant packet. The sweet and sour sauce was awful too and the ribs tasted cheap...which is a smack in the face considering the prices. It was the most expensive Chinese and worst tasting Chinese that we have ever had. Wish we could have our money back as the food really was inedible :(

Went here with a gang of 26 lads on a stag party and ordered the party menu which was a combination of Chinese and Thai starters and mains for an all-in price. The food was good, and service was attentive. The Chicken with basil leaves and chilli main course was fantastic. Winelist selection is mediocre, and prices are average. We were also given the option of having a free drink instead of our dessert which suited us just fine!
