Ate here about 8 weeks back. Thought the food was fresh and tasty. Would go back. Definitely some where that would suit all palates. Staff were wonderful. Thought the outside was very deceiving and got a nice surprise when we entered the restaurant. Great atmosphere and would recommend to anyone.

I ate here early Saturday evening with 5 friends, it was very quiet but then the atmosphere improved as the restaurant filled up. The maitre d was not very pleasant though and had an overall aggressive manner, the rest of the staff were lovely though. I had tomato and mozzarella starter, the tomatoes used were cherry tomatoes and while they were tasty there was too many of them ! The mozzarella was lovely, creamy and soft. The other starters of soup, chicken wings, and forest mushrooms all got approval from the table. My order of was mistaken and therefore my mains came out after the others. I didn't mind too much but the staff were hugely apologetic and took a desert and coffee off the bill which I thought was fair enough. The trout was very good indeed but it accompanying baby potatoes and peas wasn't terribly interesting and would have loved a different mix of vegetables. The rest of the table had pork and chicken and everyone commented on how lovely they were and cleaned their plates. Would definitely return but hoping the Maitre D is on a day off !
