Just shy of its 20th birthday Dublin’s Chili Club has had a welcome restyling by its new owners Thomas Mahon, Tess Corr and Peter Slane.Quietly hidden away in Anne’s Lane opposite Kehoes Pub,the chili was Dublin’s first Thai restaurant and has since its heyday been consistently serving, delicious, authentic Thai food. A recent makeover of cool greens and vibrant fuschia, along with a new bar infuses new life into the premises. It has long been a popular spot with local stockbrokers and visiting celebrities. A two course lunch is €9.95 and three course €12.95. Combine this with cool tunes, friendly staff and a recessionary early bird priced at €14.95 makes it an ideal place for after work supper or a buzzy night out.A carefully selected wine list and full bar means all needs are catered for, just wander up the lane and come in…

Sunday night thai green curry - best i've had in Dublin ! I always order my curries extra hot, i'm a bit of a chilli fiend, and Chili club did it Aces!! most places are too afriad to load on the chili's for the poor irish people but not here, if you like your food extra spicy this is the place to go! Staff were friendly but not intrusive, very helpful when asked questions but keep a distance from your otherwise. We had a mixed apetizer to start, in my opinion fairly standard but had a delicious bottle of pinot and the thai green curry jsut made my night! Will definitely be back.

Would highly recommend the Chili Club. Went there for a meal for 2 at the weekend and loved the food, the service was excellent - just enough but not overpowering. Portion size was good, and value for money and choice was very good on the early bird menu. Will definitely go back again. Only small criticism is that they were unable to provide Irish coffees at the end of the meal - but only a small criticism! Well worth a visit :)

Availed of the early bird pre theatre menu for 15.95. When we arrived we were the only two in the restaurant but it soon filled up. The Restaurant is small and there are too many tables squashed into the tiny space available so you can hear the conversations of almost all the tables. I had spring rolls - the smallest I have ever eaten they were the size of my index finger gone in one bite and my friend had the prawn and potato parcles she got 4 small ones. For mains I had the Pad Thai and my friend had the green curry. The Food arrived and we got stuck in the steam was rising out of the food but it was only luke warm in the mouth leading me to believe it had been reheated in a microwave. The restaurant wasn't busy so it hadn't been sitting in the kitchen under lights. Overall I won't be back to the chili club
