3.0Dined here a couple of months ago and although the value was good I wasn’t rushing back. But we decided to try it again on a busy Saturday night. I completely agree with the previous reviewer – the staff and atmosphere are great but the chefs need to improve their standards. We did dine pretty late and felt like we were getting what was left over. Starters of smoked salmon didn’t come as described and in hindsight I should have sent it back. However the caramelised onion and goats cheese tartlet was tasty. Cod for mains was again bland although the accompanying sauce was tasty. My partner said his pork was just ok. He had previously tried the fillet steak and that was described as cooked well but again “just so-so” when it came to taste. We tried the creme brulee for dessert which was nice but nothing special. Overall I think the standard of food needs to be improved for me to return again.

4.0I have eaten here before and was not overly impressed but a friend encouraged me to return unfortunately i have not changed my mind. It is a really cool bar with a great mix of nice furnishings, good atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff but the food was mediocre. i had the spring rolls to start, huge portio but the roll itself was very thick on one side and a bit soggy. for mains i had the burger, great presentation on a chopping board with a wire basket of fries but the burger itself was a fairly tasteless dried out affair. If the cooks were as good at their jobs as the waiting staff this would be a great place to eat.

5.0I was in Harrigan's recently for a work Christmas party, and we had a fantastic time!!! I am a huge fan of Harrigan's in general, but I usually stick to their Thai menu. This evening I had an authentic Christmas Dinner that was every bit as good as anything I have eaten there. We were a fairly large group and the waitress was attentive (but also had the patience of a saint). We had a wonderful time, and ended up staying til close. I highly recommend Harrigan's for personal meals, but now for work functions as well!

5.0The special offer here is not to be missed. 2 courses for two people plus a bottle of house white or red for just under €50. I had tiger prawns and lamb shank and my wife had ribs and Thai green curry with chicken and a bottle of very good Chilean SB.
The food was top class and the service the same. I would recommend that you make a reservation and this is a busy restaurant. I would also recomend to the management that they link up with the Riverbank Theatre (across the road) and offer pre-theatre dinners.

5.0We visited this place on a Wednesday night thinking that the place might be fairly quiet as it was midweek but to our suprise the place was quite busy and the atmosphere very good. I think they have changed the pictures on the walls to be a theatre theme and this was quite pleasant. Service was very good and the food quality the same. I had the Duck Spring Rolls which were delightful & my wife had the Tiger Prawns, beautiful. For Mains I had the 8oz fillet steak which was cooked med/rare to perfection, my wife had the Seabass which was lovely. We passed on desserts as we had enough but also the dessert menu needed more ummphh about it, one of the only things that let us down. The value for money was good just thought that there should be an early bird menu or mid week menu in place.
Bottle of Pinot Grigio 14.75 nothing wrong with that. Overall I will be coming back as we thoroughly enjoyed the food, atmosphere, service & wine. Thank you to all at Harrigans

4.0Menu has changed to include some European style dishes. Still has some of the old thai style favourites though. Atmosphere is usually good here; restaurant area is at the back overlooking the front (up two/three steps) but I don't think you have people from the bar staring over at you as another poster mentioned. Age group for restaurant/bar is over 30's/40's and upwards - nice crowd. Staff are very nice.

4.5I have eaten here many times in the past 4 years and have to say that it never fails to impress. I ate here yesterday evening , had the prawn cocktail to start, nice size portions. Then the steak for main course, my partner had the Singapore Noodles, both dishes were very tasty and excellent value for money. They have added a steakhouse menu to the regular thai menu and this gives the cutomer even more choice. Nice atmosphere even though the restaurant is at the back of the pub, also quiet busy on a Sunday evening. They have also launched a takeaway delivery service for their fans!

2.0First off this is not a a restaurant. Its a bar/pub with some seating reserved for eating. Everybody in the bar can see you and there is no privacy. There were some drunken yobbos shouting and acting the fool not far from our table.
The food was OK but not worth the prices they were asking. Our plates were cold and our waiter seemed to be too busy talking with his mates at the bar, rather than bring us our drinks promptly.
Not a nice experience and I wont be returning.

5.0We have been eating here for over 3yrs. It is a very popular pub with atmosphere. The restaurant is to the back. It is always busy. The food is great & the staff are always very accomodating & polite. It is very good value & food is high standard. As it is a small establishment they have two sittings 7pm and 9pm.
But they will do their best to accomodate if you want to eat early or in between these two sittings. Enjoy!! We always do :) Its well worth a visit...
