I've been to this Indian restaurant a few times to eat in and to take away....eating in is a treat for Indian food lovers...I love a mixed starter that way you get to choose and taste different starters...for main course I've always stuck with a nice chicken korma and mushroom pilau rice and of course garlic nann bread. and of course lots of corbra beer. great valu for money will def be goin back....to add to this bollywood spice is now called the budda palace, was there this evening foo a new menu tasting. lovely mix of starters mains and side dishes. all served buffet style. and plenty of free drink well done to all concerned. a great place for a party of 30ppl speak to the manager he will give you a gosd price

Myself and my two friends visited this restaurant last night. It was our first Indian meal. It was gorgeous. We had starter, main and desert . The Started I chose was the onion bajhee and It was delicious. Both my friend and I chose the chicken korma which was beautiful and not too heavy at all. Everything was so fresh. The service was very friendly with our waiter chatting happily to us. it was very propmt. We recevied out food piping hot and they gave us engough time to enjoy each course, we did not feel rushed. Complimentary drinks were given to us also our water jug was kept topped up.
The food presentation was excellent I could not find one fault with this restaurant my only regret is that we did not come here sooner. My congratulations to the owner and the staff

We always enjoy going to Bollywood Spice. The food is lovely and the service is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is small but you don't feel cramped. We had a friends birthday dinner there and we were made feel very special. Overall a lovely local restaurant.

Gorgeous - Had chicken chat for starters, lovely but could have done with some naan bread to mop up all the lovely extra sauce. Then had Lamb rogan Josh for mains, really tasty, the lamb was very tender. Peshwari naan & cobra beer to finish off. All together really tasty & great value for money. Only 4 of us in the restaurant on a wednesday night but I did notice there take out service was very busy. Service was very friendly & prompt.

I fondly remember going to the The Bombay Brasserie which was the previous restaurant at this premises. On a journey from Kildare through Newbridge we decided to try this place so we got a takeaway which consisted of a Jalfrezi, a Balti, a vegatable Biryani with pilau rice and naan bread. Both dishes were bland and very tomato based, bordering on a thick tomato soup with a touch of chilli. The rice and naan were as expected but the biryani was very oily. Its hard to do a bad biryani and this was easily the worst i had ever had. Disappointing.

I used to go here when it was formerly Bombay Brasserie and it was my favourite indian made so by the fab food and excellent staff. I always brought friends and family and we ended up being regulars. This was my first visit since it became Bollywood Spices and I have vowed never to go back again. My experience was the worst I have ever had in any restaurant. We were asked to move tables just after our mains as "our table was in the way of them being able to serve other tables". We moved but the new table had a damp table cloth on it bordering on wet. I ordered a sherry (which was on menu) and the waiter looked at me like he had never heard of the word. He said he would check at the bar and never came back. I had to ask for it a 2nd time and it arrived in a tumbler with ice !!!!!!. When we got the bill I asked why they hadn't at least deducted the price of the 1 coffee we odered for the inconvenience of moving us. I was told very abruptly that we could have a free drink but when I explained our taxi was outside I was told the bill was already on the computer system and nothing could be done. I said I was unhappy with this and the reply I got was a shrug. I got the impression the staff were more interested in the table of 10 and to hell with a couple as they would not bring in as much money. Restaurants that treat people this badly don't deserve loyal custom. I will never go back again.

We have had many take-aways from this restaurant and the standard of food is always wonderful and consistent, we decided to eat in on this occasion and was not disappointed, the staff were very polite and friendly and the restaurant had a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We always go for the mixed veg platter to start and I had the Bombay aloo which is the best I have ever tasted, my partner had the Special Balti and said it was delicious, we had pilau rice lovely poppadoms and dips and a complimentary pishwari naan, the house red wine is lovely and very easy to drink, the bill was very reasonable..we will definitly be returning on a regular basis, this place is a little gem, would highly recommend it!

I tried Bollywood for the first time at the weekend. I was nervous going as I had got a take away and wasnt pushed on it but I was pleasntly surprised. The staff were so friendly they werent in your face but were there when you needed them. I got a lovely starter, but when the main course came i didnt really like it, i had Chicken Rogan Josh, however it was just the chicken and sauce but the sauce was kind of coconut, however I tried some of my partners dish and it was lovely. Great value for money also it cost 80euro and that was the tip included and also a bottle of wine. Would def recommend that you try here if you like your Indian food. Will be going back.

We visit this restaurant often and have had many takeaways. Food is consistently excellent and staff are friendly and professional. When we visited with our toddlers they have often given them a main course suitable for children (usually butter chicken) on the house. The mixed starter is great; and I usually go for the chef's specialty - prawn maldi curry - great! Lots of locals visit on a regular basis. Definitely a thumb's up!
