Cliff House is a hotel with a fantastic view of the Atlantic Ocean and Ballybunion beach, and the view is one of the most striking things about the restaurant. The food is quite nice too. We shared the Duck Won Tons to start, and they were very well made. For the main course, I had the Pan-seared Duck , and it was excellent, the potato especially. My girlfriend had the salmon, it was very tender and juicy, and came with a delicious mix of vegetables. Overall the experience was definitely to be recommended. The only downsides were the price, which was slightly above our budget, and the other clientele, a group of tourists who could be quite noisy.
