Three of us arrived in for an evening meal, there had certainly been no need to book, there were two other tables seated, and they were finishing. The decor is dated, , but the service and meal were good enough to make up for that. The menu is a fusion of 1970's and 80's. The bowl of killorglin style pasta was shells with blue cheese and an amount of ham, huge portion. I had the deep fried brie (from frozen?) with a nice salad and the goats cheese which arived on a trimmed slice of toast with sweet chilli sauce?! The mains were big to say the least. the mornay was gorgeous, the beef bourginon was beef! and the steak was well over done for my liking but gigantic! These were all served with very decent sides, veg, chips, mash. The wine list isn't extensive but it is well priced and the house wine is a grand choice. I've visited here in the summer and the palce is rockin, just really quiet here this evening and the food like the place itself could do with a little update!
