Visited this restaurant as part of a large group. We had been told that the sea food was exceptional and we were looking forward to the meal. Restaurant is full of character- old wood and bright walls. Tables of varied shapes and sizes. There are large French doors at the rear of the dining room overlooking a nice little garden with some tables. Between all our party we tried most of the fish dishes on offer and all were very good. The service was fast, friendly and highly professional with staff who really knew the menu and the dishes. While starters and mains were terrific the desserts were a bit dull but the cheese plate was top notch- good selection -nicely ripe. The restaurant is expensive if dining a la carte. However on the night we were there was a 3 course set menu available for €38 . This had a great choice with several fish dishes containing expensive ingredients. I went for that option and was very happy. This is a restaurant worth the cost based on food quality, service and atmosphere.

A meal for four at Gaby's. My sister, myself and two others. The dining area was warm and interesting, covered with awards for the chef who I believe is a woman. Our waiter was excellent and very experienced. I had a beer with my meal from the bar that was a bit wiffy. The food was really good I had steak.. The place filled up with customers so it was lively enough for the end of October. The toilets were upstairs but were very clean with individual hand towels. The meal wasn't cheap but I wasn't paying. However, I would go back again and be happy to pay.
