We visited brods bar part of the lodge hotel waterville. We were on a bus tour of the ring of kerry and the tour guide recommended that we stop for lunch at the lodge hotel waterville. We were so surprised at how we were greeted by the staff who were friendly and helpful. The place was bustling with tourists like us and was huge inside with several different dining areas We had a carvery lunch as we only had 45mins to stop. Within 5mins we were sitting and eating an excellent Bacon and Cabbage with parsley sauce and a homemade fish and chips with mushy peas. The food was great and there was a good selection. The price for two of us myself and my sister was under €25 including drinks. We thought this was good value. The views from the restaurant were spectacular across Balliniskelligs bay. What i liked best was the speed of service, the qulaity of the food and we were right on the ocean. Thanks to our guide for a great recommendation.
