I went here during the summer and it was very busy. I had the quiche and a slice of pavalova, both were delicious. I did find that the prices were expensive and the chairs very uncomfortable. The staff were quite pleasant and they didn't rush us at all.

Had lunch here. Fabulous day so the view from the café dining area was stunning. the salads and homemade desserts are very tasty and the staff are most pleasant. Service is excellent and tables are served and cleared speedily despite having an eternal queue!! They have a really nice selection of food here. Pity the chairs are so uncomfortable and light...they would not entice you to linger over your coffee...!!!

We stopped off at this cafe yesterday to have some lunch. Seating is upstairs above the Avoca shop with beautiful views of the ring of kerry. They don't really serve hot food mostly just salads, cold plates and quiches and of course soup but their salads are so tasty! They also have a large selection of tempting looking desserts! In the shop downstairs you can buy the avoca cookbook if you fancy recreating their salads etc at home. They generally get a lot of bus groups stopping off for lunch on route around the ring of Kerry but not a problem at this time of year!
