The Long Mile Bar and Bistro, Walkinstown

The Long Mile Inn was taken over in 2005 by Larry O'Shea and Kevin Bissett. It was renovated in 2007 to a higher standard which has resulted in teh pub winning wards for "Best Shop Front". The bar has been extended to cater for our sporting customers and has 5 tv screens to show all the major events including the daily racing. The bar has now become well known for a great pint and also provides a heated smoking area. The refurnished lounge provides a 'reserved area' to cater for groups of up to 30 people, christenings, meetings and all kinds of functions. There is music on every Friday night with karaoke and our resident DJ who plays every Saturday night all the hits from the 60s to the present day. The lounge also provides a heated smoking area with a tv. We focus on friendly quality service from our experienced staff. If you fancy that cocktail after your meal or if you want to get your weekend off to a good start this is the place to be! Our pub offers something for everyone, from our GAA Dublin Supporters Club who are always happy to welcome new members, to taking our customers to events such as Horse Race Meetings and nights at the greyhounds. The Long Mile Inn off license next door offers a wide range of wines, beers and spirits and have special offers ongoing every week. Local pub, local events, local atmosphere - all that you need in you local!

Had lunch here with my partner, The food is delicious, everytime I have been were never dissappointed. I had the chicken&bacon ceaser warp and chips , it came with a side salid also it was lovley , my partner had the club sambo and chips which he said was real fresh and delicous . Judging by amount of people coming in for lunch speaks for itself. Its exremly quick with serving and very reasonable for pub grub , the pub itself is lovely and cosy lots of seating areas with the big screens for the footy. Perfect spot for some nice decent pubgrub a pint and some footy on a saturday

Was recommended by a friend to try this place as a new chef had taken over the food.I decided to try it on Saturday with the family.I had the Sizzling Fagitas which was excellent and presented on a 3 tier stand and my wife and two kids went for the Italian section which she says was excellent and reminded her of being in Italy last year.Cant wait for my next visit.Great value for money as they do a bottle of house wine for only €10 and kids jug of minerals for €6.Service was good and great atmosphere.

I met friends here last week for lunch & had the smoked chicken salad as a main, it was nice. The others had a beef curry & roast beef dinner both of which were good.€10.50 each. Our server was a lovely lady who was very warm & chatty. Nice for a work lunch.
