The Dining Room By Conrad Gallagher recreates the ambience and glamour of the best Parisian brasseries. The restaurant at 35 Dawson Street is probably the most handsome dining room in Ireland and is superbly located in city centre Dublin. It brings together an atmospheric brasserie, redolent of Parisian dining at its most glamorous, while still providing the deliciously comforting and dependable flavours of traditional French cooking. The Dining Room By Conrad Gallagher is a new restaurant, with a new look and a new name, combining a landmark dining room with a team brought together by a remarkable executive chef, Malcolm Starmer who consistently serves excellent food in informal, relaxed surroundings. The Dining Room is a restaurant which is finally pairing the top class food and wine with the great service that this impressive room deserves.

Ate here with my dining club. The sevice which was provided by two highly efficient young ladies was faultless. Foodwise was equally as good. I had a soup starter followed by the daube of beef. I finished with a chocolate mousse. As we had a group of fifty we were afforded a separate dining room at the back of the restaurant which further enhanced the great atmosphere that night. This eatery offers very good value for money for the high quality of food provided.

I came to The Dining Room with my girlfriend as a birthday treat. We found the decor very elegant and the restaurant itself was very busy which created a great atmosphere. Service was excellent. Standard of food was very high. I had the pigeon for starter and rabbit for main. My girlfriend had a main of seabream with carrot puree. We both thoroughly enjoyed the food and would recommend to others.

I visited The Dining Room with my partner for his birthday. We had been looking forward to it and werent disappointed! I had a goats cheese salad to start while my patrner had scallops with a cauliflower puree, both were lovely and set the tone for the rest of the meal. We both had fillet steaks for mains which were delicous and cooked perfectly. I would usually have dessert but I had enjoyed the meal so much I decided to make an exception. I ordered the cheescake and that didnt disappoint either. The service was good, staff werent overly attentive so you could ennjoy your meal but at the same time you werent left waiting if you needed anything. There was a nice atmosphere in the restaurant as it was coming up to christmas and it was quite busy. All in all i really enjoyed the food and for that reason would definitley return.
