really great location to sit and have some food, overlooking Galway Bay. The food is a few euro dearer than other bar food but the atmosphere and views make up for that. There were 4 of us and we had lasagne, fillet chicken burger and the fish and chips. All made fresh and it was very tasty. We also had a chicken sandwich but at 7 euro it was not good value but otherwise it was spot on. Plenty of parking but i bet it's busy at the weekends and hard to grab an outside table!

This pub is in a great location overlooking Galway Bay. The service was freindly and efficeint. The food was good but a bit pricey for a pub restaurent. W McDonagh

This is a regular stop for me en route to Conemara. The views can't be beaten, they have a good value wide-ranging menu and service is warm and friendly. It can be busy at weekends and bank holidays, very popular with families. Staff are accommodating and on my last visit they made up a simple tuna salad sandwich on soda bread to my request as I was on a health kick!

I used to rave about this place for years!! The loaded potato skins to die for and anytime I had a main course there was never disappointed. Good service and fantastic view. Unfortunately, standards have slipped quite a bit over the past couple of years. My husband and I visited there a few times recently hoping they would redeem themselves but have failed to do so. First visit, I ordered my old faithful potato skins. They were burned and crispy, so much so that I only ate half before I gave up on them. On our last visit I decided to give the skins a miss and ordered the Lasagne. The portions were fantastic but unfortunately the lasagne was stone cold in the middle. There were only 3 other tables occupied when we were there so it's not like they were pushing dinners out hand over fist. I think that we will only go there for a pint on a sunny day and leave the dinners to someone else, until they improve at least.

It's more of a pub than a restaurant but it's priced more like a restaurant than a pub. Having said that, the food is pretty good and the location can't really be beat. The tables outside are great for a slow pint on a sunny day.

Visited Padraicins last Thursday, they had a great kids menu and great value for 6.95. I had a panini and my husband had the chowder, no complaints, food was great and a great view of the bay.

the € 19.95 four course menu was excellent value for money and the kids had their main course, ice cream with a juice drink for € 6.95 which was also great value for money, will definitely be back! Glad to see someone taking the initiative with value for money offers.

I thought the food was ok but expensive for what we got. The staff were nice and the service was good.

For a no frills, honest to goodness meal, you cant do much better than Padraicins. Nothing spectacular, just plain good food with good service.

This place is now totally geared to food and its a grand spot for a Sunday lunch! It's a bit on the expensive for a typical Sunday outing, but the menu services all types and that is a strong point! Had food here regularly over the years!
