We got a takeaway pizza and it was delicious. We had hoped for a table but as they were fully booked for the night the next time they had available was 10.30pm which was too late for us, so we opted for the Isabella pizza for takeaway.
The pizza was delicious, it was cooked perfectly and it was just the right size too, it was reasonably priced too.
We would loved to have been able to eat in the restaurant and will definitely make sure to book a table for our next visit to Galway.

I used to think this restaurant served quality italian food but having recently visited here after over a year standards have really dropped. They no longer serve their lovely focaccio garlic bread as a starter only brushetta, which was neither toasted served with taste-less mushy tomatoes. There is very little choice on the menu they have really cut back what they serve with only a choice of 5 starters and about 14 main courses. My pasta main course was overcooked and unfortunately very stodgy with overcooked brocolli and chicken. The staff were unfriendly and lacked warmth. They have added more tables so everyone is squished on top of each other which doesnt make for the best atmosphere.
This restaurant does really good food, traditional italian style run by an italian family and almost all waiters italian which makes for an authentic feeling. The pasta dishes are the best, my favourite is the vegtarian ravioli the sauce is so rich an tasty, try it with their homemade garlic bread it is divine, kind of like focaccia bread but nicer! It can get very busy at the weekends so I would def recommend booking a table. It is not the best value for money but I think as a treat it is worth it as the food is so tasty!

This is one of the most popular Italians in Galway. Its always quite busy, yet has a relaxing atmosphere. The staff are very friendly.
My four cheese bruschetta starter was delicious. It was large enough to share with two others. Im not sure Ive found a dessert I love there yet and my friends pasta, veg and chicken dish could have done with a little more chicken.

The food here is fantastic, the service is amazing and the value is good. You are always guaranteed a good meal. The only prtoblem I have with this place is it is very family friendly so there are often lots of children which can be difficult if you want a nice quiet meal.

On a trip to Galway and this was the first time Ive eaten here. I wasnt impressed with the service, food (Garlic Bread especially, felt it lacked flavour) and there was alot of confusion over our bill at the end. It didnt make for a great experience at all. We were sat at the first table in front of the toilets too, which had an unpleasent smell. Wont be going back im afraid.

We used to go here all of the time but a couple of times we went we were not impressed with the service. This time however, I was very happy with it and the staff seemed to have changed from the last time I was there and were much better. I got the vegetarian tagliatelli which shoud be served with a cream sacue but I asked for it with a tomatoe one and it was excellent! The others got the cannelloni ai funghi which as usual was fab,but could have done with a little more white sauce and a Caesar salas which again was lovely. We got a bottle of the house Pinot Grigio which was tatsy! I will definitley go again...and fingers crossed for the service because the food is fab!

We ate here before years ago and remembered it as a good experience so with nowhere booked late on a Saturday evening we managed to get a table. The restaurant was packed, almost squashed but there was a great buzz to it! The food was just mediocre, the bruschetta was a mass lump of dough with a few mushrooms swimming in a garlic sauce . We both decided to go for pasta mains. Mine was with asparagus and prawns, somewhat bland and not the greatest combination. Mr. Mona had a seafood emsemble with way too much pesto sauce going on. Another annoyance was the large quantities of 'fish-sticks' included instead of 'real fish'! Dessert was perhaps the best bit, an apple and raisin pudding was lovely, warm and tasty and went down well with the Irish coffee. The service was excellent I must say though we did have a while to wait for our bill to come. In terms of value for money, it was alright, for a few more euro we could have dined at a higher standard I feel. I would visit Da Roberto but opt for the cheap option of a pizza and a glass of wine, undoutedly I would be just as satisfied!!!

I ate here with my boyfriend when I was down for the Races. We tried to eat here before but the queues were always so big, so I had high hopes for the place.
However, first impression from the waiter wasn't great and the staff didn't check on us at all during the meal.
I ordered the chicken bake which was gorgeous, but was far too hot! While my boyfriend ordered a Calzone, which came out cold and was wrong.
This was recommended to me by friends and I don't know how, as I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, during a busy period anyway
