Good food at very good prices. Generous portions - friendly unobtrusive service. Dublin couple visited on a Thursday evening. Were 2nd couple in restaurant and found very welcoming and warm aptmosphere. Lovely aromas coming from chief's station. Ordered Garlic bread each for starter, home-made pizza base (big!) with ham and pineapple for spouse and Tagliatelle Carbonara for myself. Could hardly finish it was delicious. Two glasses of house red (very good) and two desserts (Banoffi pie and homemade apple pie with cream). Total bill under €50. Ideal for families, couples (all ages) and singles also - located on Patrick Street just off Main Street - handy walk from Shannon Oaks Hotel and Portumna Castle - last orders 8.45 Thurs/Fri/Sat and open daily. Very good value and would recommend for locals and tourists alike. YUM!

Ate here with my two children. There's a good selection on the menu. I ordered the chicken curry and my children ordered a small pizza each. The curry was ok and there was plenty of it. The pizza was huge and was very tasty, really good value. Service was a bit slow. The toilets were ok. Would eat here again.

I just love this restaurant, the food,(all homemade)is second to none, and really great value for money. It is very family friendly and the staff really helpful. We (the 'Boss',kids and I), eat there on a regular basis, at least once a week, and love to bring our foreign relatives when they are visiting. Having travelled extensively, I must say The Beehive Restaurant, is in my estimation, the best value for 'proper' food out there. A big thumbs up!

Ate here on both 25th and the 27th March, Both times I had the chicken curry and it was delicious. My husband had the mixed grill first time but had same as me on my recommendation the 2nd time. It is a small place, but has plenty of elbow room at the tables. We had the place to ourselves 1st time as it was near closing time but there was no hurry for us to get out. Second visit it was very busy, but we did not have to wait any longer for our food which seemed to have been freshly cooked each time. It is a nice cosy place where you would not be afraid to take children. It was excellent food nicely presented at a very reasonable price. There were lovely looking home made desserts but we were full so had to give them a miss sadly.

Love this place, only go annually when on holidays. Last time was couple months ago. 2 adults and 3 children got well fed for under €50. Can't beat that. Great service and atmosphere too. Looking forward to returning next year. Great takeaway service too for boat lovers.
