Typical Indian that you would find in any part of Ireland. Tables, Chairs & décor all very predictable and it is small so tight. Not necessarily that special place to bring someone for a quite chat. Food is of a decent quality but slightly expensive as you have to pay extra for Rice. Service is nice and friendly. Does what it says on the tin.

Are here on a number of occasions. Food is consistently good. Tables are positioned a little close together for my liking - some are so close you almost have to ask the person sitting behind you to move in order to get out! (docked a point from atmosphere) Mostly have had a very good experience with service - just one poor experience where the waiter seemed to be having a bad day! (docked a point from service).

We were staying in Oranmore and decided to try Santoor. Not being very hungry we skipped starters and had a tandori mix grill and a lamb tikka masala. The portions were generous and were very tasty. We enjoyed the meal, the surroundigs and found the staff attentive. The meal including a bottle of wine cost about €62.00. We would return and try it again!

A really great Indian restaurant, we've eaten in so many and this is definately one of the best in the west. The food is really excellent as is the service. Attentive yet not overbearing. Highly recomment the Santoor Special Chicken Curry. It's really gorgeous. The Naan breads are really wonderful too. I like the fact that medium spicy will actually be medium spicy. All too often Irish Indian restaurants can be too afraid of offending customers with good spice! Prawn Puri is a lovely starter dish also! Nice atmosphere as the restaurant was busy, we're clearly not the only ones who recognise the greatness!

i visited this restaurant on sat last what a gem of an indian restaurant. we were staying in oranmore for a few days decided to go looking for somwhere to eat. we came across santoor. as a chef myself i noticed the best restaurants awards on the outside so i said it must be good. a bit stuffy inside id say the air con was out of order. food was top class service was top class.each indian restaurant ive been too the flavours vary and this was so true at santoor. the garlic naan was wat a garlic naan should be. highly recommended.

On a weekend trip to Galway, Myself and Husband stumbled across Santoor Restaurant on a drive through Oranmore, after having a look at the menu outside we decided to go back that evening when it was open for a meal. On arriving into the Restaurant that night there were about 2 other tables occupied with diners, we decided for a table for 2 at the window, on sitting down at our table I noticed the table cloth had the remains of food from the people before us, also the heater dish they leave on the table was also stained with the food from the people before us! I asked the waiter to change it,and was shocked at how rude the waiter was, no apology no nothing just stone-faced silence like I just gave him more work to do, unbelievable! we were given a sauce and some Poppadoms which were bordering on being stale,we then ordered 2 Tikka Masala dishes, one Chicken Breast Tikka Masala & the other Tandoori Tikka Masala , chips, Naan Bread & Pilau rice, the only thing that tasted OK was the rice and the Chicken breast Tikka which I left half of, also the Tandoori Tikka Masala must of having so much food colouring it was a unnatural shade of bright Orange and the Chicken was as tough as old boots! Myself f& my husband were also surprised to see how many takeaways were given out on that night, the only reason I know this is because people picking up their Take-aways had to walk through the whole Restaurant to pick it up! which I found very unprofessional. Either way Restaurant was busy that night all the same, and being a lover of Indian food I would rather pass on this Restaurant as food was terrible, place was dirty and staff were unpleasant and rude!

Great Indian Food. This is a fantistic Indian Restaurant no doubt about it. The food here is very very good indeed. I have eaten here with my wife and also in large groups and I have never been dissapointed..excellent. Service is faultless. No issues with altering dishes or recemmending dishes, the staff know their stuff..The Restaurant may be a little on the small side but the food service and value is excellent...
