Stopped here on Saturday afternoon for a quick lunch on the way home. The place was busy with families and couples. Very friendly staff, great service. Had soup and sandwiches, all arrived promptly and reasonably priced. Good ambience, nice and relaxed. We were pleasantly surprised and would recommend it to friends.

Ate here twice in one day as i was staying in hotel, first was lunch ,soup and panini which was enjoyable, and evening was chilli chicken strips and baileys cheesecake,a party member had large steak, mash and onion which two people shared and said it was so tender and tasty, approx seven people sampled it and all thought it was lovely.meals were finished for evening, yet they served us,and then set up space for approx 15 more hungry people, staff were so so helpfulin every way.

The bar of the Lady Gregory has for a long time been a stop off point for travellers coming from Limerick to Galway and that is how I fould this lovely little hotel bar. The food is standard carvery fare and is served in good portions. The staff are very warm and friendly and they keep the bar tables clean and clear during busy luch and sunday servings. The food is good quality and the place is perfect for sunday lunch, you can even watch the football while you eat on the tvs in the back end of the bar on a sunday afternoon. Value is always hard to quantify for carvery joints, but this is a nice place with friendly service, good food and standard pricing, so all in all I would give it 4/5 for value.
