I ate here saturday night with my boyfriend as we were staying in this hotel. I have to say it was an amazing experience. The food, the service, the atmosphere and the value were top quality. We ordered from the 3 course value menu. There was great choice and we also recieved a complementary bottle of wine with out meal as we were staying at the hotel as part of a deal. Overall we had a great dining experience and stay with the Westwood House Hotel.

Dining here on Easter Monday was a pleasant experience. The service was excellent. Our first choice of starter wasn't available so we had to do without our Pork Belly! I had Seafood Chowder & my fiance had the goat's cheese croquettes. The chowder wasn't great-plenty of fish but the base was a bit 'gloopy'-not creamy. The croquettes were tasty. Main courses were Steak for my fiance & Salmon for me. Both well cooked & delicious. Deserts were chocolate pudding & profiteroles. Again-both were delicious. We had a bottle of Rioja & finished the meal with an Irish coffee & espresso. As we were on a package we only had to pay for the wine & a supplement for the steak but looking at the menu there's great value to be had. A good experience.

We were staying in the hotel so decided to try the restaurant. The place was freezing from outside doors continually being opened, however the rest of the atmosphere was good. I had the burger with mash, which was probably the nicest burger i've ever had. My girlfriend had mushrooma and spinach taglletelli which was under seasoned. I'd definately go back for the burger but on a warm day :)

Ate here last week. They have lovely deserts. The baileys cheesecake was lovely. They also had lovely apple crumble. The rest of the food was fine, moderate. The service however was not the best - a bit slow. The food arrived fast, but slow waiting for wine etc.
