It can often be hard to find a nice carvery in the middle of Galway, but look no further this place does a really good lunch from 12-3pm! They usually do good veggie options. There is a really good deli too with a nice selection of ingredients, I usually get the tuna bap which is €5.95 and comes served with crisps and salad which is great value. You can get free mi-wadi at the deli counter which leaves out the hassle for asking for a drink of water! Also ask for a loyalty card if you become a regular you can get free lunches.

I want to start on the good points of this restaurant. The staff were incredibly pleasant and solicitous. They were helpful and courteous. However the food was absolutely abysmal. Other than the fishcakes nothing on the menu was nice. I was there with a large party of 10 and I dont think one of my friends had anything good to say about their main courses. This place is not a restaurant, its a pub/nightclub and should not be advertised as anything else. Its a shame that the food was so bad because the staff were so lovely. I obviously would never return there to eat. But would of course for a drink!

I've always found this place to be a bit hit and miss unfortunately. It's a lovely place and the food can be nice and tasty or bland and miserable depending on your luck. The staff are always helpful and friendly though and it's great to relax in after a hard day!

We went to the races, had a quick lunch in the skeff at the carvery. Good choice on dishes, yummy roast beef so tender...the girl on carvery was very friendly, even it was busy. We could even choose from medium or well done roast beef.

We had dinner there last Thursday, the staff were very nice and the food was really good. From the steaks to the pasta (what where really fresh) everything was good. Best pub food I had in long time in Galway. Thank you

Had a quick bite to eat here recently....all staff were lovely and good but to be honest I waited twenty five minutes for a Thai chicken noodle salad which to be honest tasteless...No coriander at all, some sour cucumber, and tiny diced chicken pieces - not the shredded steamed chicken which was stated on the menu!!! Wont rush back at all

Unrivalled paninis, really inventive fillings, sometimes there is a bit of a wait though.

The Skeff restaurant is a really good venue for a group to gather for dinner. The food is of great quality, the monkfish and fajitas in particular are great! Also I've had the nicest cheesecake ever in this place, it was called pina colada cheesecake...to die for! And their cocktail menu is amazing!!!
