Had a gorgeous lunch here last Saturday, the portion sizes were huge, really enjoyed the pasta. My dining buddies ordered a variety of lunches from the wide selections available on the menu. We thought Sonny's was great value for money & certainly worth a visit, even if the service was a little slow.

While having a drink here with a friend we decided to sample some food as the smells coming from other customers dishes were so good! We decided to share the pizza meal deal which consisted of quite a large pizza (2 toppings) side of chicken wings and a beer for €14. Really good value and the staff were very obliging when we asked if it was possible to change the wings to garlic bread as one of us is vegetarian. Lovely pub for drinks or food. Would definitly return

I ate here for lunch on Saturday last week. As usual it was busy but we got a table and ordered a salad and chicken goujons. Both were very tasty but we have never been disappointed here. There's always a great atmosphere, it's warm and cosy and a good place to break a day's shopping/wandering around Galway!

Had a soup and sambo combo here on Saturday. The soup was very salty. It was supposed to be vegetable. I could not finish it but the sandwich was nice. All in all the menu had good selection. I half wished I had gone for something else.

Fantastic pub grub - I'm always in the Front Door during the weekend for a steak baguette or Fisherman's pie - exceptional value, Id recommend it to anybody.

Much better than the usual pub grub fare. Service is fast and efficient and they aren't mean with the seafood in the chowder. Great place to start a session.

Been in here more times than I can count. Great pub grub, a real varied menu - something for everyone. Lots of room so never waiting on a table, service is good and efficient, couldn’t complain about anything. This is somewhere I tend to go when I am in a rush or hung-over - great for the cure and a nice bottle of Bulmer’s to go with it. Heaven.

Only ate here for lunch but I was well impressed with the food, portion sizes and friendly service. Would love to return and start off the night here as it has a buzzing atmosphere.
