We went in as a group of 7 for a late lunch and they managed to find place for us. The food was really really good. I had a Ciabatta, which must be one of the best I have had in ages and all of us agreed that the food was delicious. The service is not too great however e.g. having been given a dirty glass which we had to have replaced. Overall well worth the money however as it is not too expensive.

We were in Galway for the weekend and had arrived hungry after a long train ride. Dinner at Riordans was just what we wanted: hearty, delicious, and a great value. The place is smallish, and our server was pleasant, but overworked. She was the only server managing 8+ tables on both the ground floor and the upstairs. The fish chowder was creamy and very well flavored. For our mains we had the shepherds pie and the ham and cabbage dinners. Just right on both accounts. We loved it and will return on our next stay in Galway.

This place is a disgrace!!!! went in for breakfast this morning, the rude waitress showed us to our table and threw menus at us, when we did order, she could not have been any less helpful or rude! my sister enquired about the potatos included in the mini breakfast and was rudely told we dont do chips (all my sister wanted to know was what way they were served) we all ordered mini breakfast, which consist of 2 sausages, bacon, beans, potato(slices),black & white pudding, beans, tea or coffee, toast and brown bread. On my way to the bathroom i passed the kitchen area....things got even worse then!!!! all the breakfasts are plated up in the kitchen at least 30 of them were sitting on the counter on top of each other, the juices are from lidl as i could see a waitress preparing an order for another table and nothin is cooked to order from what i could see just re heated as the order comes in. Our bread and toast arrived at least 5 mins before our food and when our food did arrive it was pretty obvious it had been cooked in advance and then reheated! im sure if u have a hangover its a great breakfast but il be steering clear of the place! not cheap either with a mini breakfast coming it at €7.50 and a Lidl juice €1.50 (i could buy a litre carton for that!)

Not a bad spot for a quick lunch- friendly service and large portions. It's not exactly haute cuisine but they do simple dishes really well. The lunchtime offers are hard to beat and their homemade chunky soup is delicious.
