Visited for midweek dinner with my wife to find a good mix of 30-something dining after work and families. Good atmosphere resulted with that 'buzz' of a restaurant full of happy chatty people. We chose the Bruschetta and Polpette Meatballs for starters, both of which were hot, tasty and devoured! My wife chose the Cannelloni for main and thoroughly enjoyed it - perfectly cooked and full of flavour. I opted for the 'Sweetly Nutty' Pizza... oh my! My tastebuds are still singing after it! A bottle of wine and 2 Chocolate Fudge Cake desserts saw a bill of €50 even with our 'Buy one main, get one free' voucher. Well worth it though!

Great location in the centre of town. Spacious restaurant, ideal for groups. Quality pizzas and pasta dishes at very affordable prices. No problems with the service. Couldn't ask for more for the price. Would go there again

Visited with my partner and our two kids, we have always been big fans of Pizza Express in London, which I believe is the same. Got a started of Bruschetta Fungi, which I adore but it was very peppery, (milled pepper), which I don't like so it kind of ruined it for me, but the pizzas we got were delicious, and the kids pasta was very tasty and they loved it, I do think that the price of the wine is a little excessive for what you get. And as much as I love the idea of giving the kids something to colour in, its a bit pointless when the colouring pencils are minus tops and all need to be sharpened. We also got the most abscent minded waitress who had to keep coming back to check what we ordered and still not delivering it , but overall I do like the food and the restaurant, but definitely things could improve.

I recently ate in this branch and having never before eaten in Milano's before, i was very much looking forward to it after hearing great reviews. There was a large group of us dining together but this didnt faze the waitress at all who was very attentive and couldn't do enough for us, without going over the top. However, the food was not to the same high standard as the service. The bruschetta which is normally one of my italian favourites was very oily and not at all crispy like ones i have had previous. As a popular dish, most people chose the lasagne. When it arrived it was quite flat looking, with one of my guests having to send hers back as when she peeled back a few layers of pasta - she found there to be no meat just a skimpy amount of ragu sauce. She re-orderd a pizza and this was brought within minutes so she was not left without food for too long. Not overly expensive - but dear for what you get.

I had never before visited this branch of Milanos but being a firm favorite of mine I was sure it would not disappoint. It was really busy for a Wednesday night but the restaurant has a good seated waiting area where it is possible to order drinks which then can be brought to the table. This made the wait alot more relaxed and enjoyable. The party of 4 shared 2 brushettas. These were very tasty but as I thought before with Milano's they don't offer enough tomato. I dined on the Padana pizza, as always. Staff were very accomodating when asked if it were possible to get the Margarita Leggera on a normal base and even offered to place the salad on top as it would normally appear on the Leggera. To finish 3 of us had the chocolate glory and 1 of us had profiteroles. In hindsight it was far too heavy after having half a starter and a main. The only negative thing I would say about Milano's is that I find the wine list quite expensive in comparison to other Italian restaurants.

Milanos is great value for money. We were on a hen & had a table of 26 and the service was quite good. The set menu was only €25 including a glass of wine & the food was very good. In fact, there was so much food, alot of us couldn't even finish it. It's nice to go somewhere that gives you a satisfying meal at a low price.

I had not been to Milano in many years and having never been disappointed before I was sure it was a safe bet! Indeed it was. The place was buzzing and as we had not booked, waited for just 15mins for a table. My buddy and I opted for simple starters and both couldn't resist the pizza. All was washed down with a delicious red. Very tasty. The service was prompt and the staff very facilitating. Brilliant value for money to complete the evening. Not to be missed!

Came here for lunch with a friend. The restaurant is lovely, nice and spacious, plenty of tables, and loads of natural light. The massive photos of Galway's festivals are a tad tacky. I had a Pizza which was quite nice, but it could've done with a bit more garnish. I had a Cheesecake for dessert which was ok, but felt as if it had been sitting in the fridge for a while. Service was friendly and efficient. I'd recommend this place for a quick lunch, or a meal with your kids, as they seem to cater well for the little ones.

On the occasion that other pizza places are full on Quay st, this is the place to go! It has a fast turnover, because it is very efficent! The food is really tasty and the service really good! Its a great palce for a Date!! I wa shere on Sunday evening, It was pretty full, service was friendly. I think its a bit overpriced on starters which are small, but overall its a a handy place to grab a quick bite!

A regular at Milano and the food never disappoints. Perfect place for a catch up in a no fuss lively environment with fast service and a very price friendly menu. Pizzas are delicious and the pasta dishes are well seasoned and flavoured also. Desserts also to die for especially the tiramasu. The only detractions being that it can be quite nosiy especially if there are large groups in and the furniture is not designed to keep you there all night! Not the venu for a special occasion or romantic night out. That said will definetly return again and again..!

I have eaten in Milano's a few times and I have never been disappointed. It is affordable, tasty food with speedy service. It is not somewhere I would go for a romantic meal or a special occasion but it is perfect for meeting up with friends or grabbing a quick bite. One word of warning though, if you don't like children avoid Saturday and Sunday lunch!

The best place in Galway for Pizza, American with extra sundried tomatoes is yum, not to mention the desserts!!! The staff are wonderful and very helpful, as we arrived when it was quite busy and there was 10 of us. They managed to have us seated in no time and service was excellent. Oh and take away is just as delicious.

3 of us went for dinner last Wed night. We had no booking but there was no prob getting a table. It had a nice lively atmosphere. WE shared a starter of dough ball (yum) and had Leggara Pizza (really good) and had a house bottle of chanrdonney that was aprox. E18. All in all was a lovely meal, nice surrounding...would recommend.

The food is very reasonably priced and tasty with a large varied menu. Staff are friendly and relaxed and the whole experience is a relaxed one. I have one complaint with the place and it is the noise. If you are hard of hearing, dont go here as you wont be able to hear the conversation around your table.

Staff were great, effecient and friendly. We were with a big group and no hassle at all. The food was OK, portion sizes are small, so you will need a starter and main course. Had a lovely dessert of coffee and 'mini' cake.Would propably go again for quick bite or big group, but this place is too noisy for a romatic meal.

I organised a dinner in Milano in Galway as part of a Hen weekend for a large group of girls(26people in total).. i didnt know the restaurant, however was most impressed, from the initial phone conversation booking the table, to the actual food and service on the day. The manager was very courteous. we were seated on one large table downstairs, and our waitress was extremely helpful (and patient). They allowed us play the minor Hen-games, and kept re-filling the wine glasses!! the food was very tasty, and the bill not too damaging on the pocket. I would definitely go back again.

A group of us ate here recently. The food is good, great selection of pizzas. I had the Pasta Pollo with the chicken replaced by roasted veg, as I had this dish previously and found the chicken a bit bland. The waiter was friendly, professional and patient, considering we were such a large group. We were seated downstairs, away from the main section, which gave us space and time to chat, which was great. Good value, great service.

I really like Milanos.. even though it is usually really loud, the food is always good.. Pizzas are really nice, and desserts are great too.. I find its always pretty consistent, so if your not in the mood for taking a risk at dinner, you know what your gona get.. Staff are up and down.. but its nice to be able to see whats heppening in the kitchen..

I think milanos is a lovely place to bring your family or friends as it is lively and always has a great atmosphere. You can see your pizzas being made in the open kitchen, the dough is really nice and the toppings are delicious. I recommend the fungi d bosco with sweet peppers and ask for all the trimmings of garlic oil, parmesan and pepper! The chocolate glory is amazing as a dessert. If you are having a party I would recommend bringing your own cake, they will put candles on it and bring it out for you no prob. The house wine is lovely, if a little expensive but still worth it. Overall I would think this place suit families early evening or couples and friends a bit later. They only take bookings for 8 or more people so get there early or be prepared to wait!! :)

Went here for a friend's birthday. The table was booked for 7:30pm. We weren't seated until 8:15pm and our starters didn't arrive until about half an hour after that. I think it was lucky we were such a relaxed and understanding group, otherwise I don't think we would have stayed. However, the saving grace was definitely the staff. They were very apologetic and attentive when we eventually did sit down and get going and noted this on the bill at the end. They dealt with it very well. As per the food-it does what it says on the tin. Generally this place is pleasant and it is obviously a popular choice and so, wouldn't mind returning again.

This is a family restaurant, at least on a saturday afternoon. We went on a saturday, not our first time and we'll go again. The place is buzzing with little kids. There is some segregation between families and those looking for the quite lunch and as the evening draws in the balance changes to a more couple and group cliental. The food is tasty. Caeser salad with dressing on the side means you can go as heavy on the dressing as you like, a kids portion of pasta and pizza any way you want it. the staff would not be the friendliest in town but the food is delivered promptly and tastes great.

Milanos is what it says on the tin; it's family-friendly, quick, easy, affordable and edible. The service always seems quite rushed when it's somewhat busy but the value for money negates this completely. The quality of the food is quite decent, with a wide variety at a low-cost.

Having visited Milano many times over the years I am always pleased with the friendliness and competence of the waiting staff. The restaurant is clean, modern and comfortable. the food is well priced for pasta and pizza and is consistently good. Milano is child friendly and they offer a four course meal for €8 which is great for older children. This includes small starter, pizza or pasta, ice cream desert and a baby frothy pretend coffee. Definitely recommend this restaurant for families. Worth 4 stars.

I went to Milano's for my Aunt & Mother's joint birthday in October. Although we weren't allowed to book a table, as we were a party less than 8, we were seated very quickly. The staff were very friendly (as always). The food was gorgeous (as always). I would give Milano 10/10 for food quality, taste, atmosphere & friendly service.

Milano's pizzas are consistently good. You never leave too disappointed. For all round good pizza's, go to Milano's. There isn't much competition in galway but there are lot nicer pizzeria's in dublin.

Milanoes pizza are always a sfe bet. Good size, good variety and nice thin base with lots of toppings. The waitress got a bit saucy when we produced our two for one voucher from the Times after the bill came. Best to make it known to them before ordering! Great value.

Very good pizzeria. Love their pizzas. Limited menu if you don't. Place is always busy which is good a sign. On the downside the restaurant is very open so can be a bit noisy when it is full. Staff were efficient. When I ordered Diavolo pizza waitress was able to tell me straight away that they had no jalapenos. A friend had the cannelloni and the portion was a bit small for a main course. The roasted nuts with rosemary are lovely to share while you are waiting.

I was at Milano Saturday just gone with 5 others. All the food from starter to desert was outstanding. Waiter was very mannerly. Only thing I didn't like was the fact that the starters were cleared when one member at the table was still eating, the waiter then brought our main courses straight away while one person was still eating the starter. Her main course was left out on the side of the table for her to have after. Very unprofessional and rushed.

This is a good reliable restaurant. You know exactly what you are getting. Caesar salad is very nice and there is a very choice of pizzas. Service is good as well.Overall very good for a chain restaurant

I went there twice with my friends. what was really nice about it the kid's menu, which make them feel so happy. I recommend you to go there with your kids. They will love it.

I have been to this place quite a few times, it has always been of average. My last visit, we were quite disappointed, are starters were quite small, for the price. I had pizza, which was good, and my boyfriend had pizza too. His pizza was late coming out and was the wrong pizza too. When it finally arrived it was good too, but the fact I had finished before he started had ruined our dinner. Overall, it was good food, I will just be taking my time before I make a return visit.

Excellent pizzeria. Nice atmosphere, well spaced out, every type of pizza imaginable. For a chain of restaurants, I really like Milano's concepts.
