The best value restaurant in Galway. Food is excellent and you even get a free pint after your meal. This would be a regular place for me and my husband. My only complaint was that it can get very cold in the winter. If you like just steak or foie gras quail this is the place for you. Well worth a visit you will not be disappointed.

We have eaten here on numerous occasions and the food has always been of a very good quality. Great value to be had with the set menu deals plus lunch during the day in buskers next door always has a very nice variety

We went here for my parents birthdays in September again i have been here quiet alot for birthdays as they have a very good offer which includes sun - fri 2 course meal with a drink in the bar of your choice for only €22 and on a sat 2 course with no drink for the same price, (I hope I have the prices correct but its something like that) The food choice is really good it has something for everyone and it is really tasty, the service is very efficient and quick. Also the drink in the bar after is great value as you can order anything you like for instance a vodka and coke which alone would cost over €7.00 so this offer is very good if out for a night on the town.

We ate here on a Tuesday so it was a bit quiet for there to be a brilliant atmosphere but there were 11 of us so we made our own fun. We all went for the early bird menu which is good value and a drink in Busker Browns is included. I had the goats cheese for starters which was gorgeous as I really love goats cheese. Had the lamb for main which was nice. Everyone seemed to enjoy the meal and our waitress was really nice. We had the Australian Shiraz for E20 and it was very tasty.

I visit Kirby's about once a month and always for the early bird menu. Great value, super staff and management. For starters there is a great selection and all have been good so far! The steak is well cooked and presented, portion sizes will please even the hungriest. The specials are included in early bird (sometimes for an extra 2 euro) and offer a better variety than the rest of the menu. Delicious desserts and nice good value wines! All round very nice evening meal in a restaurant designed for date night.

This place has come on in leaps and bounds lately. Have eaten here 3 times over the past two months and each time the food have been excellent. The chowder has to be one of the best I've ever tasted-creamy and packed full of fish. The steak was cooked exactly and way I wanted. The only issue is if your eating on a Friday/ Saturday night here-the pub next door can get very noisy so if you have the chance take a table upstairs. I will be returning.

Really liked the decor in this place, nice atmosphere, but just a little too dark, couldnt quite make out which veg I was eating! had the early bird, 2 courses for 16.95 and a free drink in the bar afterwards. Great value, food was nice, braised lamb shank for main and warm chocolate brownie for dessert. The first bite of the brownie was like a rock and wasnt warm, but the rest of it was soft and warm, I must have gotten the corner piece that was slightly overcooked. Food wasnt anything spectacular but it was good value and nice surroundings so I'll go back the next time I'm in Galway.

I would highly recommend this restaurant, for the earlybird anyways, its great value. Myself and my patner ate here one Monday evening, the service was very good and efficient. The food was also very nice, I had the springrolls to start (which were delicious) and the pasta for mains (which was also good). My partner also had the spring rolls to start and the stake for mains (which also gets the thumbs up). And to top it off the price was excellent-2course meal with complementary drink in Buskers after all for €16..We were stuffed leaving here!! Def a must..!!

The food was ok, nice enough without being delicious either. The service was really inconsistant depending of the waiters: some of the waiters (most of them) were very nice & helpful but others would make you feel like you are disturbing them! The toffee pudding was big & gorgeous though, freshly baked. To sum up, the food is all right & not too expensive, but I would not rush to have dinner in this restaurant again.

Ate here last friday night, during the galway races excitement. The service was quick and attentive but not intrusive, the food was tasty and palated by the best of hangovers, nice relaxing vibe down stairs as the larger parties were on the 1st floor, really enjoyable will go back next time i'm in the west!

Went here for a friends birthday, I thought it was very pricey and wasn’t overly impressed. I had the Bruchetta and it was awful, could make a nicer one myself. As the wine went down the food didn’t seem to be too bad, but don’t think I’d go back.

Was here recently and it was really grim, very poor staff and boring bland food. Won't be going back. The one saving grace was price, it wasn't massively expensive, still wouldn't call it good value. Wine list isn't too bad either
