Poor Menu, Was expecting much more from a previously well recommended restaurant. Poor choice. Bruchetta starter was over cooked and chewy. The beef skewers for sharing was on the small side, a small handful of noodles with it. Had to order two sides, both small and €4 a piece, a bit much for the quantity. Chocolate torte as described by the waitress did not live up to expectation, burnt and dry. Service was standard, but no smile or banter or a check on our table to see if everything was ok. Wont be back!

Overpriced for quality - the cold salmon plate was literally just that - a cold plate with 4 slices of salmon, a wedge of lemon and 10 capers - no imagination into the presentation of this dish a €18/19 this was very poor. Nice desserts and coffee but will not be returning to this over-rated restaurant

I really enjoyed my experience at KC Blakes Brasserie. The restaurant is centrally located and very inviting with outdoor seating available. The view from the restaurant is lovely and the perfect place to eat well while enjoying the bustling Galway atmosphere. The prawn cocktail and fish cakes were excellent. I had pork belly with scallops for main course which was presented beautifully and tasted absolutely delicious. The fish and chips again looked and tasted amazing. I would definitely return to this restaurant on my next visit to Galway!

I went here for my birthday as a special treat. The food was delicious but I felt it was too pricey. I found the service to be slow and had to wait a long time between courses to be served. Our table was in the far corner and a large table beside us kept hitting their chair against mine. Overall, it was good but not excellent.

Had new years eve dinner here. Service was pleasant and fillet steak was delicious if a bit pricey house white wine was awful. Pavlova was amazing enough for 3 people

Went here with my boyfriend on a recent tip to Galway. I had the chicken and butternut squash risotto and he had the pork belly. Both meals were cooked to perfection. The nicest meal i've had in ages. Staff were very friendly and couldn't have done more for us. The manager even offered to move us to a nicer table once he had cleared it for us. Prices are slightly more than your average restaurant but well worth it. 5 stars !!!

This is a great restaurant - the food was delicious and our waitress was great fun and attentive even though the restaurant was packed.
The decor is really nice aswell and there is such a buss throughout.
The only downside is value - it is quite pricey - especially in the current times - however having looked at a number of restaurants on Shop street while going to it, I think all of the restaurants there are maybe a little overpriced in comparison to the rest of the country - but hey we all gotta eat - will return next time I am in Galway.

This restaurant has an early Bird Menu until 8.30 pm, which is later than most in Galway, and to be commended. We found the staff friendly and helpful. We started with duck parfait and chicken wings. Both were excellent and tasty. We then ordered salmon with risotto, and fish and chips. The fish was off - there having been a run on it- so I decided to have the burger. My companion did not like the risotto, which she found poorly cooked and also did not like the salmon. I found the burger acceptable, but then I am no burger fan. Including a bottle of wine the bill came to just over €60.00. All in all we were not enchanted with the restaurant, but maybe it was an off night, and we would probably try it again.
