We enjoyed our meal here very much. The restaurant itself is lovely and in a great location. The service was friendly and efficient. Myself and my partner tried each others dishes as well as our own and found all dishes to be very tasty and enjoyable. We intend to eat here again

Got a takeaway from Kashmir, which was taken politely and delivered on time. We got paneer which was ok, and a black lentil dish which was really good. BUT it cost us nearly 40euro for 2 vegetarian main courses, 1 rice and 1 naan. Restaurant prices for takeaway food! The food was grand overall, kind of bog standard, but there is no way I would go back there at those prices. The very least they could do to improve the value of their food would be to include rice with the mains!

If u wish to eat oily food, please go here. One of my worst experiences. We walked in looking for a table for 2 and was offered the whole room so we went picking our table but nobody was following us,then a waiter comes and offers us a seat and then he goes back to the host to check the table. We ordered a king cobra, not available, no problem. We got a bottle of wine.I requested Paneer pakoda as starter but was refused, why i cudn't understand it. we got a tandoori chicken and vegetable samosa. Tandoori chicken was tasteless and full of red colour, samosa was soggy, cudnt even cut the pastry of samosa with knife, i have to pull it.Mains came with full of oil, i cudnt decide wether things were cooked in oil or oil was cooked in veggies. Indian food is oily but this oily noway....it does bring the repute down for the cuisine. We ordered homemade gulab jamun and even checked if they were homemade but unfortunately when they arrived we founded them out of the tin, so misleading info. Wine topping up, forget it. I requested a scoop of icecream with gulab jamun and i was told that we only do portions of vanilla icecream and not scoop...so i wonder how is the icecream portioned. Total disappointment yeah the only good thing was butter naan surviving to par expectations. I am sorry to say kashmir is a beautiful valley but kashmir restaurant is definitely a OILY VALLEY WITH NO FLAVOURS.

This place is best for a takeaway Indian and not sit down meal. Went there before an ate in and the atmosphere was dead, no people in at all except for the ones collecting take away who kept walking by our table! Also it is 20% cheaper when you take away. The food is nice tho they do a good prawn curry.

My wife and I were in Galway this week and I checked out Menupages for a good Indian restaurant. I saw 2 diverse reviews and I was intrigued so I had to go and see for myself. I don't know which Kashmir the reviewer went to but it was not the same one we went to. The atmosphere was great and the welcome was warm. The waiting staff were excellent and when I asked for a HOT lamb curry the waiter advised me to go for the Lamb Balti - I did and I am glad! My wife generally judges an Indian restaurant by its Biryani dish - this one, according to her, was excellent. Great value for money and we look forward to returning to Galway in the near future.

Went to this restaurant cold no athmosphere. Food not good, tasted like it had been microwaved to heat. Nothing was good, very dissappointing as I had been there on a previous occasion and it was excellent. Restaurant was empty but it was a Monday night. We asked for a table when we went in, NOt one person THERE, waitress asked DO YOU HAVE A BOOKING??? I give up!!!

Not great. Thought it might be ok going by previous reviews. I expect to get food cooked to order rather than meat that is pre cooked and reheated in whatever sauce - I will not be back.

This is a nice restaurant and good vaue for money. I would advise on not getting any chicken dish here. The chicken has a rubbery feel to it. I would never get it again. Howvere the lamb bhuna is delicious. I would recommend the buffet lunch on a sunday. Overal, this is good but there are a lot better Indian restaurants around.

Myself and my girlfriend went here while on a weekend trip to Galway. We were not disapointed. We had the kebab platter for starters, i had the chicken vindaloo, and herself had the biryani (wrong spelling i know). The food was delicious. We have been to quite a few Indians and this was one of the best. The portions are huge. I left some of mine behind me to the amazement of my girlfriend who couldnt believe her eyes...absolutely delicious 10/10

Excellent Indian cuisine in a typical Indian environment. Good value. I find that a main course alone is adequate. Try the balti but everything is super. BestIndian west of the Shannon.

I ate here last Saturday night. The food was very very good as was the value for money. The only bad thing would be that the main course I ordered really would have done two people and though the price didn't reflect this I feel the staff should have pointed this out. I felt awful sending back such gorgeous food but there really was too much. It was the mixed Tandoori Kashmiri Khazara. Having said that, it shows what value for money it is. Would definitely go again.

I went here on a date. The food was superb but the atmosphere was not very good. However the staff were very nice and helpful. I would definitely come back again as the food was delicious.
