We came in for lunch and had sandwiches which were ok. The place is informal, not the nicest place in the world, food fine, staff fine, a very forgettable experience to be honest. The tables and chairs could do with a good clean...

Personally the Celler is one of the best places to eat in Galway city. Its a trendy, modern style bar thats always busy yet has a relaxed chilled out atmosphere that the staff (of a casual nature) provide. By casual Im not condoning it I love it like that it reminds me of an american dinner style service. The food is amazing I have sampled several different items off the menu all of which I enjoyed. Its tasty and more importantly HUGE portions at a reasonable price!!! The Big breakfast is amazing.... and their burgers are especially good!!! Staff friendly and location so handy!!!

The Cellar is a great location and a handy spot for food. I've eaten there for lunch, it's always full of people. Most of the food is good, especially the burgers but I ate there one evening and ordered a Sheppard's Pie. It was a bit too heavy on the salt I'm afraid. On the up side, the staff are lovely, and there is a nice atmosphere with plenty of students in for pints!

I've eaten here many many times for breakfasts which are normally large portions of ok food. It's usually packed cos it's a reliable place to eat. The food may not be groundbreaking but it's never terrible. Had a really lovely lunch here last saturday - the Cellar club. Lovely sandwich with unusual combinations. Staff are normally very busy and can sometimes be brusk but i would be too given the non stop go go go. If you have a Cuba card you get 10% off. Overall not groundbreaking but a reliable favourite.

Have eaten here too many times to remember but never again. Food is average at best-thats only when it arrives. Depending on the staff working and how busy the place is you could be waiting ages. Not the place to go if your looking for a quick lunch. I was waiting for over 35 minutes on this particular day after ordering soup, sandwich and a coffee. Last time I was there they were more interested in servicing the afternoon drinkers than getting food orders in. Not happy and not returning.

Ok place, ok food, great service...probably a better place to have few drinks rather than food, but it is ok for killing the hunger while having few pints with your mates

Eat here regularly, usually have their vegeratian breakfast which is worth going there for alone. Very casual eating place and perfect for catching up with friends, always busy which is always a good sign

GREAT PUB IN EVERY WAY i love drinking there great for meeting friends ideal location as for the food i have had breakfest,lunch and even a dinner in this place and i have never been let down so come one come all top marks all round

they do great soup and sambo combos that are great, this is a fun bar also, i would recommend this place for great pub grub, service left a lot to be desired but for a busy pub it wasn't too bad

Haven’t been there in a while, and just noticed the prices are a lot more expensive than I thought. Its a great place for pub grub, can be a little slow at times, can’t seem to handle lunch rush. Food quality is good. It’s a great bar also.

Tasty, no nonsense pub grub - although prices have risen steadily over the past few years. It gets very busy so service is rushed and can be hard to get a seat. Overall not bad but there is a lot better around.
