Ate here for the first time today. First impression the place seemed a but grubby. Food in the candle and used hand wipes on the floor. Shared the chilli con carne nacho's for starter. Were very tasty, did enjoy them, but not amazing. For main I ordered a starter as none of the main's appealed to me. I had chicken skewer's marinated in tequila. My partner ordered a burger, which the didn't have so he had to order rib's instead. Overall the food was very average. I couldn't taste any tequila but i did enjoy as the mango salsa with the skewer's was fresh and tasty. However the salad was limp in parts and slightly gritty. My partner enjoyed his rib's, but once again they were quiet average. I doubt I'll return but the visit was pleasant , I've had worse!

Came here with the girls for dinner and drinks after work on a Friday. Really nice restaurant and the staff are friendly. Menu caters for Mexican and European dishes, which is great when trying to choose a restaurant where there are big differences in palates! The service was very efficient and the complimentary nachos and dips were great. The starters and main courses were all lovely. We all had the fajitas for mains bar one of my friends who had salmon. The fajitas (beef/ chicken) and the salmon were very tasty and generous in portion. The dessert menu isn't great but the Irish coffee I had was lovely. Atmosphere was nice and bustling. Great location right on Temple Bar. I will return to Mexico to Rome for sure but I'd love to see a dessert menu with more choice.
