Popped in here for dinner last Friday night on way home from pub. Place was busy but not a problem to give us a table even tho' we hadnt booked. I had the Deep Fried Wan Ton, followed by Chicken Cashew Nuts Thai style - both of them were yummie ! My pal had Salmon Sushi to start and Duck for main. She seemed happy with her choice ! A bottle of wine and the bill did not break the bank, service was v. good so all in all no complaints

I love this place, the food is great and the services is really good. It never seems busy and I come here quite alot, but I've never had a bad dish or bad service. Going again tomorrow night with Friends and looking forward to it :-) I would recommend this place, especially the King Prawn Hot and Spicy main dish really nice.

I have visited Pearl Orient too many times to count. It must be more than 50 times. And had countless Take aways. its top quality food without a doubt. The early bird menus both during the week and on sundays are exceptional value for money. The food is always fresh and hot and they are very flexible with changes in dishes. some restraunts are very rigid in their menus. when i go for the early bird i usually get the spare ribs or chicken satay to start and the mix meat with fried rice or duck for mains, i dont like pork so i always ask for no pork in my dish and they give me extra chicken and veg. The duck is beautiful and usually served on a bed of beansprouts. followed by tea or coffee. the place is never usually packed so can lack athmosphere but on the other hand you can take your time over your meal and the waiters do not by any means hang around your table waiting to clear your plates. I love this place, you can go for a quiet sunday lunch that feels like a treat and pay less than 30 between 2 people for alot of food! I would definately recommend it, especially in these recession times.

It was our 1st time in the restaurant we have had take away numerous times. The place was pretty dead for a Sunday but that was fine with us. They had a huge menu including an all nite early bird which was brilliant. We needed up going for a set menu for 3 and there was loads of food and you could make changes if you wanted. There was two starters yuk sung and soup both lovely. Then chicken sweet/sour, duck cantonese and beef and blakc bean, the only problem was the beef it tasted a bit on the cheap side wasn't very flavoursome. There was the usual choice of deserts tea/coffee. For €25 each this was very good loads of food will definatly be returning but not for the beef

Got a take away from here for the first time. Gorgeous flavour from the Teriyaki chicken and the chicken balls were lovely. Veg chow main was only ok. But i'll definitely return.

I have eaten here many times and have never had one complaint. The service is great as the waiters are extremely helpfull and friendly. The food is gorgeous, really tasty and plenty of it. The cost is very reasonable, the early bird 4 course meal is until 8 and only costs 16.99 but if u arrive a little later they still offer it to you and on a sunday its even cheaper. It is never really packed but as the restaurant is so big the waiters arent on top of u and u can still talk so it doesnt really matter. definetly reccommend it.

Ate here for the first time in January. Very deceiving from the outside but a big surprise in store inside. Plenty of tables on two levels but a pity it was so empty as it lacked atmosphere purely for that reason. Service was very good with friendly staff. Food was very tasty and plenty of it. The take-away service was busy also so a good sign. €140 for four people and we all had starters, mains and deserts plus a bottle of wine so excellent value for money. Give it a visit.

I mainly use this restaurant for take-away and can highly recommend the Malay Curry and Sui Hon Chicken - both are specialties of the house and absolutely yummy! I've talked to people who've eaten at the restaurant on a regular basis and the have rave reviews about the place too.

This is a lovely restaurant. Food is fantastic and they have a great variety on the menu. Have eaten in the restaurant and gotten food from the takeaway and I would highly recommend both. Easily the best in Clondalkin!

I absolutely love this restaurant. The staff are amazingly attentive the food is always delicious and even their delivery service is great. I often have Hoo Yu Gai Po and it is just delicious. Also if you visit on a Sunday they have a separate set menu that is fantastic value. I really recommend going here, it is my favourite Chinese restaurant

Myself and my husband had a meal in the restaurant this week and although staff were lovely the food was average but not what i expected. The staff however tried very hard to please supplying a dish that was not on menu but it was just not to my taste, however, would go back and try something different because staff were so nice.

Having read some of the reviews about Pearl Orient I decided to try the take away before trying out the restaurant. First dish was a Kung Po which tasted very fresh and was amazing! Second dish was a simple curry which was one of the nicest tasting curry sauces I've had in Dublin. I cant wait to try the restaurant out very soon!

We were highly recommended by our friends in Foxrock. I reserved a table on a Friday night to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, amicable service and excellent quality of food. We ordered duck in plum sauce and chicken with mix vegetables. They were absolutely gorgeous! The manager realized it was my husband’s birthday and he presented a surprise present to my husband with a waiting staff playing birthday song at the piano. What an enjoyable and remarkable evening! We rate this restaurant with 5 stars.

Had a gorgeous meal here with my boyfriend on Saturday night. Lovely friendly staff and the food was top class. My bf is usually fussy when it comes to Chinese food but really enjoyed the meal. Really big menu with loads of lovely stuff to choose from. The only negative comment I could give is that they could probably have a slightly better dessert menu but by the time we finished our main courses we were far too full to even consider a dessert. Will definitely return!!!

The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive - maybe a bit too much sometimes but you can easily forgive that. The food is always very tasty, the starter combo platter is great to share. The mains are all the old favourites that you'd expect from an Asian restaurant. The service, efficiency and value for money make this restaurant a favourite with the locals.

A Gem! This place is a little gem of a restaurant, the food is very good and I have never had anything I did not like (and I have worked my way through the whole menu). Also they are very happy to encourage you to try something you have never had before and if you don't like it the will get you something else at no charge or take it off the bill. Great staff and as others have said it can be very quiet sometimes. But this can be a plus also, as you can really relax in the place and really take your time. I have been there and after we had our food we sat for hours having a chat and a drink and under no pressure to leave at all. The staff even gave us a free round the last time we were there for no apparent reason except good service. the lady who owns the place is great and really makes you feel welcome and special when your there. She is a real asset to the restaurant... But since they opened they have dropped the original desserts like Bombay ice cream and rambutan in place of some generic ready made bought in frozen stuff. what a pity. Apart for the last point it is well worth a visit and you will enjoy it.

Lovely little place. Quite quiet during the week, but the attentive staff more than make up for it! Delicious, well priced food, make it a great place to visit for a regular bite. Pearl Orient has a wide, varied Asian fusion style menu. My partner had Thai and I had Japanese, which meant we could both get what in wanted. Worth a visit!

This is a beautiful restaurant. The food is delicious and the service is great. They also have a great lunch menu on a Sunday for €13.00 per person. You cannot go wrong. It is very quiet but you can have a good old fashioned conversation over your dinner in peace.

I love pearl orient, the staff are great fun, although I will agree with every one in saying it’s very very quiet which can some times put me off going. The food on the other hand is to die for, I have never not enjoyed this food, it’s perfect every time, I do find it to be a bit expensive some times compared with other restaurants! Still recommend it.

I was pleasantly surprised to find this hidden away in Clondalkin. Nice decor and plenty of space. Staff were very friendly and good had a good sense of humour. Food was good especially the Aromatic Crispy Duck! But sadly I was left waiting over 25 minutes to receive the bill at the end of my meal after having such a good night up until then. But in there favour they did spot the problem and gave my table a round of free drinks. Nice for a change.

Food in this Chinese is fantastic but it lacks atmosphere due to the fact that it always seems to be quiet. Have had a few meals here and always found the staff very friendly. Good variety of dishes that are reasonably priced. Tend to get a take away rather then eat in the restaurant now because of the lack of atmosphere.
