4.5Went here on a voucher deal with my husband. The restaurant is very well laid out and while it was busy the service was excellent. The food was really tasty and we enjoyed the evening very much. The normal prices did not seem overly expensive and I'm sure we'll be back here another night.

4.0Used my menupages voucher last Saturday night and was pleasantly surprised by the choice on the menu. My marinated crabclaws were delicious, if a little salty. They also left an orange stain on my fingers, probably from the tumeric. Hubbys tandori prawns were perfectly cooked. For mains I had the talapia fish and hubby had one of the chefs recommended beef curries. Both were very flavoursome and were accompanied by naan bread and rice. We also ordered a tasty NZ Sauvignon Blanc to wash it all down. The only disappointment was the house desert that came with the voucher. One scoop of vanilla ice-cream, covered in what seemed like spray cream and strawberry sauce (from a bottle!) Apart from avoiding the desert in the future, i'd definitely go back

5.0Had dinner here with my husband with a Menupages voucher for a 3 course meal for two (€34).We thoroughly enjoyed it. I was pleasantly surprised with the variety of dishes available and found our starters and mains very fresh and tasty. The only negative comment I would make is that the desserts we had weren't great,I suspect they were not homemade. The staff were very attentive and friendly and I will not hesitate to return.

5.0We when here with our menupages voucher.
The food was different and we both wanted to try everything !! The clientele seemed to be regulars which is always a good sign. They also do a great early bird menu. The staff were very professional and attentive.

5.0I have to agree with all of the other comments on this restaurant. Myself & my husband went to this restaurant with a Menupages voucher so had 3 courses each for €34. The food is slighty different from Indian in that it's a bit 'chunkier' and tastier with less emphasis on sauce and more on flavours. The staff are very professional and friendly. We totally enjoyed the experience - so much so that we bought another voucher the same week as did friends of ours on our recommendation. Looking forward to going back and sampling some more tasty food!!!

5.0We were in Okra in Castleknock on a busy saturday evening, it was our first time there in that restaurant but we have been to their sister restaurant recently which was equally as good also by using our menu pages deal which is a great way to visit many different restaurants and taste many different cuisines. The service was excellent, the greeting at the door was a lovely touch the atmosphere was relaxed and the food was fantastic :-). we cannot wait to go back! We would definately recommend Okra to everybody its well worth a visit.

5.0Okra Green is a really good Pakistani restaurant with a different, more adventurous menu to the usual Indian restaurant. It is also very good value for money - both their set menus and the a la carte. Four of us went there for Mother's Day lunch and ate a la carte. Every dish we had tasted wonderful.
- and mothers were presented with a glass of sparkling wine - a nice touch.
We started with potato cakes (2 of us), Tandoori Jhinga prawns (€2,50 extra but worth it!) and Batak (duck) Roll. Then we had Chilli Masala Gosht (spicy lamb curry), Beef Shahi (mild creamy curry) and a house speciality of lamb, aubergines and potatoes (2 of us). All of the dishes were fresh and tasty and served with pilau rice and naan bread. Unlike most Asian restaurants, Okra Green has a dessert menu. So we treated ourselves to poached pear, cheesecake and lots of delicious homemade icecream. We finished with really good coffees and an espresso.
We drank beer with our meal... and with the help of the current Menupages deal offer, came out at about €28 euro per head. Fantastic value. The staff and manager were friendly and helpful and we we will definitely be returning soon. Finally all I can say is ...someone in that kitchen can really cook!

4.0Finally a good indian/pakistani restaurant in the castleknock area. Been here a few times since its opened and always enjoy the food. Also offers takeout which is handy as no decent takeout in the area. Early bird all week is great value while full menu could be slighly cheaper - say include rice in the cost of mains but still in line with most decent indian/pakistani restaurant in dublin. service is very friendly and qwuality of food is excellent. sometimes it can be a but quiet but to be honest once you get the food you soon forget that and hopefully more people will visit as its a gem for the local area. ps the naan bread is the best in dublin!

5.0First time to visit this restaurant. We were very impressed with the food. Everything is fresh and the flavour of the dishes we chose was great. The place itself is nicely decorated and the staff were very polite. We were pleasantly surprised when the bill came. We will definitely be back.
