I went to Thai Garden on a Saturday night for dinner. I find this restaurant quite crampt with tables very close to one another, however, the service and food is very good. We had the spring rolls and prawns for starters. The spring rolls are small and tasty but the sauce that accompanies is quite tasteless. I had Pad Thai with prawns for main which was really the nicest Pad Thai I've ever had. My finace had the sizzling beef and vegetable dish with a flaming brandy sauce which tasted really good. The service was good and I would return. The main courses are great but the starters are slightly below par with portion sizes a little small. I would return for the Pad Thai.

Had dinner here with my husband last evening. The restaurant is very intimate but tends to be busy. The staff generally seat people well apart so you don't feel like you're dining with strangers. The service was excellent, attentive staff, no delays with the food, and everything was nice and hot when brought to the table. The food was divine, I had chicken satay for starter and green chicken curry for main, so tasty, plenty sauce with each. My husband had the ribs to start and a duck main - his main was the star of the meal. There was loads of duck and it was nice and spicy (exactly what was ordered). I would have no problem recommending this restaurant. Best bit - the duck main, there was nothing I disliked!

Had a very nice time in this small restaurant, love asian food and it was completely up to scratch as always. Waiters are always very helpful and can explain what is in everything and whether it is very spicy and what they think personally, which i think is very important for a restaurant. People will enjoy this restaurant if they like thai or asian food.

I agree with the majority of write ups for this restaurant. It's a lovely restaurant and it makes me want to return to Thailand some day. Very authentic. Staff are typically Thai, warm and friendly. Food is very good value especially the early bird.Great to see a busy restaurant these days.

Have been to Thai Garden lots of times and never have a cause to complain. The food is gorgeous - Pad Thai is my personal favourite. The prices are ver reasonable - early bird menu especially is great value for money. The staff are very friendly and attentive. All in all, a great dining experience!

We go here regularly and have never been disappointed. Our last visit here was on the evening of New Year's eve. The staff are very friendly and the food is second to none. My favourit dish is the chicken and garlic stir fry followed by banana fritters for desert. I would recommend the early bird menu which starts at rought €16/€17 for 3 courses.

Another restaurant I found due to great reviews on meunpages. We will definitely be back! Great atmosphere, packed on a friday night, great service staff so friendly. Red curry is to die for! My date had a duck dish which he loved. Shared a passionfruit&mango dessert which was amazing, will definitely have that again. Starters were ok, we're not mad on thai starters though, others will probably enjoy. Will absolutely return however will go for the early bird as we found it a bit expensive from the regular menu - dishes are quite pricey and on top of that rice is not included - but they don't do an early bird on a Friday night unfortunately. Go & enjoy!

Have been here on many occassions despite living in town, everything about the place is brilliant. Staff are amazingly accomodating and friendly. Food is of the highest quality with a menu containing a huge range of options. Duck dishes are particularly good. Value for money rating is 10/10 too.

My husband brought me here for my birthday. We love Asian food but we're always skeptical about trying new restaurants. Anyways, we were more than delighted to have tried Thai garden. The staff, food and overall atmosphere was superb. We had our four year old with us and they were very accommodating. IF I had to say anything that I wasn't too keen on would have to be the fact that people ordering take away come into the restaurant and can be seen coming and going by the diners. Other than that, the food was really delicious, will be going back definately

Found this Restaurant on Menu Pages and decided to visit as the reviews were so good. Boy were the reviewers right. This little gem of a restaurant is tucked away in Blanchardstown Village and from the outside you would think the place was empty. Well, the place was packed at 8.30pm on the Friday we visited. The waiter we had was really friendly and a bit of a comedian! Food here was great! Was a bit more expensive than we would have thought for a local restaurant but well worth it. The menu is so varied and very hard to choose a dish. A good selection of deserts also. This review was written after our second visit (had to go back) and we werent' disappointed the second time either. A great spot with a great lively atmosphere. Will be back.

As usual, the food was great, and even on a Wednesday night, the place was packed. That is a recommendation in itself. A great night enjoyed by all with good service and a lovely meal. Ribs and Duck are always my favourites. (Not a place to go for a romantic meal though, very noisy).

I dined here recently to celebrate a friend’s birthday. I’d heard that the place is very popular and after finally going there I can see why. The service was friendly and there is a very extensive menu. The prices are reasonable. Everyone went for the works and ordered three courses. We were all very happy with our starters and main courses. There is a good variety of desserts. My only gripe is that most seem to be the standard bought in desserts but that is nothing unusual for these types of restaurants and everything was tasty. I’m looking forward to my next visit.

Flawless - I have been coming here for years and it's fantastic for any occasion - birthdays, casual meals, meeting friends. I would recommend pre-booking as it can be very busy every night of the week. The food is so tasty and the portion sizes are perfect. I always mean to try new dishes but their red curry is just too good - I can't betray it. Lovely, warm atmosphere and great service. I only wish their takeaway was slightly cheaper than the restaurant menu so I could order more often!

This used to be one of my favourite restaurants, but unfortunately after such a bad experience it will be a long time before I return, indeed, if I ever do! As a coeliac I am limited to my choice of food. Perhaps I should have stuck to my usual rice noodle dish! I instead chose a Thai-red curry with sea bass, not an overly complicated dish but one that turned into an utter disaster. Firstly it was presented to me with prawns that I did not order, so while I waited for my meal to be remade, my husband ate his dish before it cooled. After 10 minutes my dinner was brought out and just as I was about to tuck in, a waiter came over and poured lit brandy on the fish. I thought that this was some flavour enhancer that I was unaware of. Wrong! They had mixed up my order once again and the waiter was not meant to pour that sauce over my dish, but in fact somebody else at another table. The result was that my fish was rendered inedible as the over powering taste of alcohol was actually sickening. I complained and the dish was returned to the kitchen again but by this time my husband had already had his dinner so I didn't want to sit and eat on my own. The main problem I have is the waiters response and lack of empathy for the situation. I had to point out that I wasn't paying for rice that I didn't eat as I had nothing to accompany it so I got that removed from the bill. However, I felt that as some form of apology, the least the restaurant could have done is to have offered my husbands meal for free. To get an order wrong once is forgivable, to get it wrong twice in one sitting is atrocious. To be so arrogant and rude about it is just frustrating from a customer service point of view. The restaurant may be busy every night, but a consistent complaint seems to be about service. We were forced to pay for a meal that I had to watch my husband eat, while I left the restaurant starving. We used to be regulars both in the restaurant and takeaway, however, I feel really annoyed with the way we were treated. This situa

I am a huge fan of this restaurant and recommened it to all my friends. I have traveled in Thailand so I am aware of the cuisine. I highly recommend the Pad Thai.Extremly friendly and will do anything to help and on birthdays they will bring out cakes, banner and sing to you. The only downside I have to this restaurant is the poor drinks menu. They only sell thai beer and wines. They could really do with some vodka!!! They do an early bird menu and is advised to pre book even on weekdays as it is very popular and always busy.

A restuarant that is full on a Monday night is speaking for itself. I love this restaurant and I have been several times although now only taking the opportunity to add my review. The staff are lovely, friendly and courteous and the food is excellent. The menu has a large variety, only problem there is it is tough to make a decision! :) It has a nice decor and the atmosphere has a good buzz. I look forward to my next visit.

The food was again really good, as it has een on previsous visits. The restaurant, for a Monday night in January, was half full. The owner and waiting staff are always efficient and very friendly. I love that the plates are heated before the food is served on them, keeping you meal warm for longer.

Reliably good food at this restaurant and fairly consistent. Decor is a bit twee: overly-done mock thai but they make up for that with the good food and attentive staff. When we visit with our kids, we usually get allocated a table on the 2nd floor (and try not to be offended)! They do some tasty flambe dishes - recommended.

Went to the Thai Garden for the first time last night. There was a very good atmosphere and the food was delicious. The staff were friendly and efficient. They have a very extensive menu so there's plenty to choose from. 2 starters, 2 main courses, 2 soft drinks, and 2 coffees came to almost €60 which wasn't bad. I'll definitely go back in the near future!

I have eaten here several times since moving to the area & I have to say this place is really a hidden gem. From the outside, it doesnt look like much. But once you get inside, the decor is fabulous, the staff are friendly & the atmosphere is buzzing. It's always busy so book if you are going. The food is really tasty (try the satay chicked skewers & pad thai noodles) & promptly served, not to mention it's very good value (€75 for two starters, two mains, one dessert & a bottle of red). They have a pretty good wine list, which is also very reasonable. The restaurant is split over two floors, with the smaller area being upstairs. I cant say enough good things about this place. Try it!

had our staff party out here....9 of us...the food was great no questions asked....but u really have to make an effort to get their attention so as to make orders.they try to manage all the customers with less staff i guess.....reasonably priced as well...the place can get a bit stuffy when its full due to lack of ventilation.. look out for the 10% service charge with the bill...i wonder why????

Me my wife have eaten here several times and the food is really nice at a relatively reasonable price. The major drawback is that the tables are very close together so theer is no privacy and constantly have to shuffle out of the way of staff and customers passing by. This time I booked and asked for a window seat so that we could avoid the downside of the place. When we arrived we were put into the middle of the floor barely enough room to pull the chair out to sit down, when i explained that we had booked a window seat this was disputed by the waiter and we were told we had to sit where we were put. Further the people on the next table were clearly more interested in our conversation than their own. All in all, despite the good food, not an experience that I want to repeat.

This is my favourite restaurant. It's all about value for money. The two early bird menus - either €17 or €21 - are three courses and every dish is delish. Can't beat that for value. The food is way nicer than the prices would suggest (and the average thai restaurant). The atmos is grand and the staff are amazing. My eight-year old daughter is always at us to go to the Thai Garden. I don't think she even likes the food, it's just that she's treated like a princess by the staff! Since I moved to Dublin 15 five years ago I have gone to the Thai Garden, on average, once a month. It has never let me down.

We have been regular patrons since 2002 but regrettably no more. To call the customer service received tonight as rude would be the understatement of the year. I only hope leaving a tip of 10c instead of our normal deserved generous tip hits home. We have no interest in ever eating in Thai Garden again.

I do like this place. Service is always with a big smile. Atmosphere is great - decor is very Thai and it's always busy. Despite the fact that this is obviously a very popular local restaurant, they have always managed to find us a little table, even if it is upstairs in the "over flow" area. I recommend the Tom Yum soup, the salads, any duck dish and of course any of the curries. The waiter will ask if you want it mild, medium or hot - and believe me, hot means hot! Well worth a look if you are passing through Blanch!

A local favourite, always busy, especially for the early bird. Its great value, and such tasty food, you can't go wrong for a mid week meal, or a special occaison.

We have eaten here on more occassions than i can actually remember and love it, we love it so much we always go back. My favourite dish is the chicken with cashew nuts (chef special) my husband loves the green curries. The staff are so polite and the service is so quick, My only gripe is that my favourite dish is not on the early bird menu :-( The food is amazing and very good value for money, we usually share a starter, 2 main courses and one dessert with bottle of wine is under €70.. defo recommend it.

I have eaten in the Thai Garden four times and the food has been exceptional every time. Two of my visits were for private parties where the upstairs was rented out and we could not have been looked after any better. My only gripe is that the food tends to come out very quickly and I prefer to have a rest between courses. The staff are all very friendly and seem to truly enjoy their work which makes for a great atmosphere. I would recommend this place to anyone!

This is my favourite Thai Restaurant in Dublin. Every time I go the food is delicious and the service is excellent. 3 of us went for dinner on Sat night and because we booked very late on Sat, we didnt get to sit down until 9.30. The restaurant was packed which just goes to prove this so called "recession" hasnt taken hold just yet. We had the combination starter which was excellent - chicken dumpling, prawn in deep fried batter, pork spare rib, vegetable spring roll and chicken satay. I had the sizzling chicken for main with bolied rice and it was delicious, I asked for it spicy and the waitress brought an extra serving of fresh chopped chili to sprinkle over the dish. My friends had the sizzling beef and chicken and cashew nuts and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We all had dessert, I had the orange sorbet which was just what I needed after the spicy meal. With 2 bottles of wine the bill came to €150 - which in my opinion is excellent value. I will always return to this restaurant as I have never experienced anything other than superb food and excellent service.

I went to Thai Garden with four of my friends last night. We booked our table for 6pm and were told we would have to be out by 8.30pm and the next sitting would be arriving then which was fine. Our starters arrived and were all quite nice but we had barely finished and our main courses arrived. As each of us finished our plates were cleared and my friend who had the early bird was brought her dessert before some people were even finished their mains!! The service was rushed throughout and when we ordered a third bottle of wine at 7.30 the waiter was not impressed and made sure we knew. Then on asking for a dessert menu we were asked 3 times in the space of 5 minutes whether we were ready to order. I hadn't even finished my dessert and we were asked if we could be given the bill at 7.40 even though we still had a half bottle of wine on front of us.We were then short changed on our bill. At 8.05 the waiter came over and told us the next party had arrived and we had to leave. I have never been so disgusted with service in a restaurant. It was a disgrace.

Ate here on a busy Tuesday night. My guest and I arrived too late for the early bird so ordered from the a la carte. I had the mixed starter to begin. Pork was replaced with chicken wings which were just average but the rest of the starter was lovely. Service was prompt and friendly and the place was buzzing with atmosphere. I had the chicken pad Thai for the mains and asked for it extra hot and it was! I have to say it’s arguably the best Pad Thai in Dublin, fresh, zingy and plentiful. I didn’t eat dessert but had a nice black coffee to finish and all coming in at under 25 Euro a head which is great value considering it’s not an early bird. Will definitely return - consistently good!

MMM!! Went for a family meal here on Sunday. We went for the early bird menu, there was a choice of 2! One was 4 courses for 17.95 and the other was 4 courses for 21.95. Food was gorgeous, presented in beautiful blue and white dishes, hot and very tasty. My brother felt portions were a little on the small side but the rest of us were happy. As with many Asian restaurants, dessert option was limited to banana or pineapple fritter with ice cream, or a selection of ice cream. Fritters were very heavy and greasy, so think ice cream is the better option. Will defo go back!

We live in the area and this is one of our favourite restaurants. The food is always delicious, we have never been disappointed. My partner has been to Thailand and always raves about the food. This place comes very close for him to the wonderful food he ate in Thailant. Service is excellent, warm and very polite. Great value for money too.

Went here last Friday and thought it was very nice. There were 5 of us and we had a nice sized table. We were on the top floor which is nice and cosy (but drafty). The food was great! Most of us went for the combo platter starter which was nice. My flambe beef curry was delicious!! A bit pricey but still had a great meal...

I live in the area and the Thai garden is my favourite local restaurant, whether it be for a quick bite, or a party. The early brid menu is amazing value, with two different menus to choose from, the food is tasty and service is great, and a reasonably priced wine list. I love this place! I would advise booking, especially for large parties.

Went for a quiet dinner last Friday, booked in the same morning. Lovely, tiny little restaurant, lots of character. Staff was attentive and there when needed. Food was very good, even though we didn't ventured too much (thai green curry for me). Not a large selection of starters though, ours was nice but slightly on the oily side. Overall a great place, will definitely come back.

Thai Gardens is one of my favourite restaurants. It really is a hidden gem in Blanchardstown, although judging from how busy it is every night of the week, it's not so hidden anymore! I've never had a bad meal here. I love Thai curries and find it hard to get a perfect one in Dublin but I have to say, the ones in Thai Gardens are fantastic. I always ask for my red curry extra spicy though as it can be a bit mild. My boyfriend said he's never tasted such good Thai food outside of Thailand, and we have eaten in most well-known Thai restaurants in Dublin. Service is extremely friendly but not intrusive. Atmosphere is cosy, and although tables are quite close together, you never feel on top of the people next to you. Wine list is extensive and good value. The only slight improvement that I would suggest would be a wider variety of starters. I always look forward to Thai Gardens and actually have to try and limit the amount of times we visit it for fear of getting sick of it!

I decided to pay a visit to this place because of all the good reviews and I was not disappointed. The best things are the atmosphere (cosy and romantic) and the quality of service. Food is alright: good value for money. I will probably go back.

My first visit to The Thai Garden! Beautiful ambiance, very friendly and helpful staff. We had the set meal for 2 which gives you a taste of the various dishes with a choice of having them mild, medium or hot spiced. Enjoyed desserts also. Looking forward to returning very soon! Excellent Value!!

I had read a few of the other comments posted here and thought this place would be good but I was sorely disappointed. I thought the food was over priced but more to the point, the chicken dish I got (basil, chillies, ginger etc) tasted like vinegar and was a miserable portion. I will never return!

I love seafood and no.83 on the menu is my favourite dish , chicken (chef special) is very tasty too. Exceptional value for money!! Starter + 2 main +1/2 bottle of wine and 2 soft = €55! Had heard such good reviews about this place so had to try it out. Food cannot be faulted. Had Thai Green Curry and my partner had Duck. Was extremely busy which is a good sign but we were left waiting nearly 40mins in between our starter and main course, then I got the wrong main course but at that stage was too hungry to complain. Food tasted lovely though. Will give the place another chance but service would have to improve. Good value for money.

This is one of my favourite places to eat. The service is the best I've seen as the staff are humorous and very courteous. The food is excellent quality and you just get the right amount. Their beef dishes are fantastic and their red curries are better than I had in Singapore. The wine list could be improved, but it is still good. The food is also great value - overall you wont get better in D15 and it beats numerous places in city by a mile. The downside that stops me going more regular is that their is no decent pub to get a drink in after your meal !!

The food is AMAZING! I had a prawn red curry and fell in love with it and my other half had a duck dish that had brandy in. I didn't think the brandy was a good idea...until I tried it..lovely. The brandy gave a subtle warmth and sweetness to the duck and made it very Moorish! There was one bad point which was that although we went on a Wednesday it was packed to the point of not being to hear each other...literally! So if you're not talking its a great place to go but if you are I wouldn't recommend it. Or maybe ring ahead and see if its heavily booked.

Best value around - €16.95 or €20.95 (depending on which early bird you get) starter, main, dessert, tea/coffee. If you like it spicy just ask - extra spicy Tom Yum Gai is spot on - just like in Thailand - pineapple fritter is great way to end any meal it's delicious!

What can I say?? This is a gem of a restaurant in an area where quality eateries are few and far between. Have lost count of the number of fantastic meals I've had here over the past few years. From large group celebrations to intimate meals for two Thai Garden has delivered consistently good food and excellent value for money. Sam and Co. always deliver service with a smile! Long may it continue to prosper!!

A group of us eat here last night and were not disappointed. Food was lovely and the restaurant was nice and authentic. My only complaint was that there was no yellow or mass man curries on the menu. Had the combination platter to start which was lovely and the sweet and sour chicken with noodles also gorgeous, other people had the green curries and a special beef dish. The sticky toffee pudding desert was also lovely. Would definitely return. For 5 starters, 5 mains, 3 deserts, a bottle of wine and tea/coffee bill came to €153.

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. We have been many times and it never dips in quality. Quite simply outstanding. Compared to well known Thai restaurants in town, Thai Garden wins hands down in terms of food quality and taste, service and value for money. I would recommend anybody to come and visit this gem of a restaurant in Blanch.

6 of us went here yesterday for the early bird. Best value I've had in ages - €16.95 or €20.95 (depending on which early bird you get) for starter, main, dessert and coffee. Their Tom Yam soup was lovely, as was their pad thai. Will definitely be returning.

Was very impressed with this place. The service is very good, the staff are very friendly and there is always someone close by if you need anything. The food quality is very high and it is always a nice change when you order king prawn and actually get it. The whole meal was very good but the best part was the coconut ice-cream we had for dessert. Will definitely be returning to this place soon.

Have been here many many times and can't find fault. In fact we remeber one night sitting in a well known Thai restaurant paying twice the price and wondering why? Great value, good service, family frienly, good wine list, high quality food et al. Only downside is the cramped tables which ironically often adds to the cosy atmosphere. An absolute gem.

I eat regularly in this restaurant, it's a cut above many other Thai restaurants in Dublin. The Pad Thai is excellent. The food is always of superb quality and the waiters are always very friendly and efficient. The early bird menu is particularly good value with a good range to chose from. I can highly recommend it as one of my favourite restaurants.

Have eaten there on many occasions and have never been disappointed. I love their green curry. I have eaten in other Thai resturants in Dublin previously but to me, the Thai Garden is so much better - the other is overpriced for what it is. But the quality of food Thai Garden is consistently good. Sometimes the service can be slightly hit and miss but that's a minor gripe compared to the excellent quality of the food and value for money and perhaps just inexperienced staff over the Christmas period. I recently ate here for my birthday, I cannot fault the place. Can't wait to go again!

I just love this restaurant. There is a real buzz about the place. I would actually disagree with another review posted saying the tables are too close together. It is a squashed dining room, but I think that fact adds to the intimacy of the place. You certainly have enough space to have a private conversation. The lighting is just right, the food is delicious, and the staff really couldn't do enough to please! i will be returning regularly!

Eaten here quite a few times now. The food is nice and tasty but average enough. The staff are really wonderful and a pleasure so the service/atmosphere is tops. It’s good value for money and really nice experience even if the food doesn’t blow you away. The only negatives are the table placing is too tight and the lighting is poor in places. It’s also generally very busy! Would recommend this place highly!

I'm not quite sure what to say about the Thai Garden. Have been quite a few times. The food has always been nice. The service has sometimes been awful. I'm not sure they're able to cope when the place is busy. We once went in a group of about 20, 10 were finished their main courses as our starters arrived! Another time in a group of 4, the waiter was too busy watching what was happening around the room to pay attention to the order: "I'm listening" he shouted, but alas the wrong order came out. Will go back again though, it's a nice place. Hopefully we'll be lucky with service.

Have tried this out recently.. The welcome at the door was great to begin with and the attentive staff who were cheerful and witty added to the ambience. The menu was straightforward and the food was presented so beautifully. Each flavour could be identified ...the food was obviously freshly prepared. There was plenty of it too! My only gripe was the way many were crammed into the small space. This restaurant does not need to pack them in...they will queue if required! Fabulous food.

This was our first time in the Thai Garden and it was fantastic. We went early and had the early bird special which was just the right size. The Pad Thai was great, and the service was very friendly. We would definitely go back again, and not just for the early bird!

I’ve eaten here many times and have been a rollercoaster with the quality of the food going up and down each visit but am glad to say the past few occasions have been consistent with great quality. Overall it is a bit pricey but you would pay similar for some Chinese restaurants in the area and they don't put a patch on Thai garden. This is a great spot for large enough parties (well 20 people downwards) and has three floors. Make sure to book in advance!

I love this place. Myself and my husband eat here at least once a month and love to bring guests. The service is second to none and the food is always lovely. The combination starter is a great way to sample the starters and the chefs special chicken and cashew nuts is excellent. And its excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

Was a bit dubious I have to say to try this place out, as my past experiences with Thai Food have NOT BEEN GOOD. But I was convinced my many people including LOTS OF TAXI DRIVERS that the food was divine. Ohh My God!!!! Food Was Absolutely Gorgeous. Totally changed my opinion in every way, food was very tasty, big portions (which was great as I was starving). Service was excellent, quick and efficient, and most importantly DO NOT RUSH YOU OUT!! Also great value for money, could not believe it when I got bill. So Cheap. Highly recommend.

We really love this restaurant. It has a really welcoming, cosy and romantic feel to it. They have a very good early bird menu, we even arrived 15mins late for the early bird menu one day and they still asked us would we like to see the early bird menu. Very attentive and friendly staff. Food is delicious. I love the decor and their beautiful dishes.

I want to love this restaurant, as I just adore Thai food. On the plus side, the staff are fabulous, the ambience is just right, and the place always has a heady buzz about it. The food though, I must say is not spectacular. The spring rolls for starter are small, and not quite packing a punch in terms of flavour. The exception to all of this is one of the specials, prawns in a brandy flambé. The waiter really enjoys setting the dish alight, and I must say the dish was fantastic. I just wish they could up the quality of their stir fries and curries. As someone who has eaten Thai all over the world, it’s just not good enough. But for a local night out, and a bit of romance, it’s just lovely!

I went to this restaurant on the basis of the reviews on this website. The food is good but to be honest there is better restaurants in Dublin. The service and the venue are excellent, second to none. We went for the prawns for the starter and weren’t impressed at all. The quality was ok but very poorly presented.. The main course was good, a chicken dish with noodles. Overall the service was extremely efficient and friendly, but the most important factor, the food, wasn't fantastic.

Love it Love It, Myself and my Husband are regulars, actually almost part of the furniture. Can't see the point in going to town when this GEM is on your doorstep. We are always very happy, super food, delightful friendly staff. Have recommended Thai Garden to many many people and they all feel the same way about it. Keep up the good work everyone.

We have visited the Thai Garden now several times on different days of the week and with different people. The staff are extremely friendly and efficient. Food quality is consistent and the portions are just right. The only criticism is the table spacing, very tight and perhaps the plastic flowers! Overall it is good value for money, especially the early bird menu.

Food and service excellent. The only down side, as with all oriental restaurants, is the deserts. Straight out of the freezer. It wouldn't kill them to have fresh deserts for a change, would it?

Been here for the early bird menu. Found the main course portion was a bit small for us but tasty enough. Great service and didn't have to wait long for the food. Staffs are very friendly. The only downside was that the tables might be a bit too close so you can actually hear the conversation next table. Overall quite satisfied.

This Thai restaurant is great. Food is wonderful, staff are genuine and we've always managed to get a table (even on a Saturday), even if it means we have to wait and have a beer across the road first (oh dear!! grin). Never felt rushed and agree that the house white is fantastic and great value. Its a pity some people didn't enjoy it, I'd recommend you try again - we don't tend to waste our money going back to places where they don't tick all our boxes!

My husband and I go to the Thai Garden very regularly and to be honest find it hard to go anywhere else. Staff are so friendly and obliging. Nothing is a problem. The early bird menu is fantastic value and the house wine CYT is a steal at 16 euro a bottle. Always busy so you're always guaranteed a great atmosphere. Well worth a visit. Highly recommended.

If you are looking for authentic Thai cuisine in West Dublin then this is the place to go. It is quite well hidden off a little side street in Blanchardstown village (beside the church). Both our meals were very tasty & very much like what you would get in Thailand. Recommend it highly.

I don’t know if I went on a bad night but was not that impressed. Food was nice and the menu was great but it took 25 mins to get menus and then a further 45 mins to get the main course- so if you are in a hurry, I wouldn’t recommend it. Some of the staff were nice but majority were not. I might go again but it wouldn't be a first choice.

I had a very bad experience here while celebrating a friend’s birthday, I found the service very poor and unfriendly. the food was alright but we all got our meals at different times of each other which is very irritating there was a big fuss when we said at the start of the dinner we wanted to pay separately, (it says on the menu mention at the start if you want to pay separately)and when we did get he bill it was wrong, I mentioned to the waiter that a drink had been added on that I didn’t order or drink, and then he said to me ''are you sure'' as if I had made it up, and not only that but 10% of the bill was added as a service charge which is fine under normal circumstances but this is a restaurant that should have to pass a license to be let away with adding a service charge.

I've been three times and each time it has been an absolute pleasure. I can't get over how reasonably priced this restaurant is. The service has never been below excellent and probably the most content staff I have experienced. The last time we were there our waiter apologised in advance that our main courses would be coming sooner than he would wish which is nice considering this was on a very busy December 23rd. The wine list is quite good and reasonable (if you could call any restaurant wine list reasonable) but the vintages shown need updating. If you like duck the Thai Garden does the best duck I have had.

Great food; reasonable prices; friendly staff; great for a mid-week meal as the only fault I have with the place is at weekends they do two sitting so unless you want to eat early you end up getting a table for 9.15 which is a bit late.

ok, I am really really sorry to say that I had a bad experience at this restaurant wasn't the food which was quite good, but rather the terrible unfriendly service. It's not that I'm super picky, but my partner and I wouldn't go back and here is why: 1st, super fast loud music. Restaurants do this when they want clients to eat quickly to increase table rotation and revenue, but isn't it unpleasant feeling pressured? Specially when you are about to dish out around 70euro for 2people! Then our glasses of wine were noticeably watered down, this is after our waiter couldn't tell us what wine by the glass they sold, he said they only had 1 type of red and 1 type of white, but couldn't tell us the name, only that they were nice wines. (Only after I realized there is a separate menu for wines sold only by the glass, but none of us knew). After he brought out the prawn crackers and sorry, but go to nearby Ming Garden or Cilantro and you will get prawn crackers with dipping sauces, but that didn't happen here. In fact I thought they'd forgotten the dip, so when I asked I got a funny stare, what sauce? ok...so we ordered our food and I wanted my chicken dish extra mild and my partner wanted his dish extra spicy, he said no problem will tell the chef to make it specially spicy, but when our food arrived, they had mixed up our order! I realized this about 10mins afterwards because I had been waiting for a knife which took a long time to arrive, mind you, we were the only patrons in the house it was 5:30pm...dessert was pretty good, but overall I think my sentiments have been clear: Keep the cooks, change the management!

This is a great spot but fairly hidden away. It’s a really authentic atmosphere and they do a great early bird special from Monday to Thursday. The menu is great even the early bird give a sufficient choice and the food is truly an excellent Thai experience. The lay out is a bit cramped for larger group and you definitely need to book ahead as they are limited space wish. But its a great restaurant and worth a visit.
