Way overpriced for what we got, I have had better bar food. My fillet steak was cooked to order med/rare but was obviously left on the hot plate to dry out! Sides bumped up the overall price with onions €3.50 etc ridiculous! Garnish was thrown at the plate, really lacked any finesse or care. Service was not great either. For the price of this family meal I could have had a good weekend away. Won't be returning to this establishment.

lovely atmosphere from the time we entered the restaurant however it would be lovely to have some romantic music playing in the background with a more summer theme. The wine was lovely. the menu was superb as was the food but it is on the pricey side for a family to go again in the near future. thanks for the lovely evening, Deirdre Richardson

Food is always amazing but after waiting nearly an hour for our starter to which the waitress had forgot all about us,we were waiting another hour to get dessert which we had to cancell as by this stage we were there nearly 3 hours,I understand at busy times u expect delays but more communication I think is need between the chefs and the waitresses ,

Food was ok for the price it was, I think if you're paying that price the presentation could be a little better. Basically the food is brought out like you would do it at home or a fast food, there no garnish or extra touches. usually with a restaurant its the little things that impress you.

Paid a return visit to Brownes steakhouse but have to say I found the menu to be very limited this time. Eventually I chose ribs as a starter, while hubby chose the chicken wings. Both were ok although there was not a lot of meat on the ribs. On the plus side the sauce was delicious. Hubby chose a garlic chicken dish which certainly lived up to its name as the garlic taste took over the whole dish. I had a New York burger which was delicious. The restaurant was very busy so service was quite slow but friendly enough. Overall it was an ok meal and not bad value.

On a date and ended up sitting a bit uncomfortably close to another 2-person table side by side. Otherwise very good service and the food was delicious and well presented.

Good value for money during week lunch however, really bad smoke odor extraction. Steaks are cooked on the stone at the table, this creates a LOT of smoke, our clothes were smelling of grilled meat the rest of the day.

Perhaps they had a bad day! I visited this place looking for a steak meal. We got a T bone for two. It was cold and with no much sides. Also, only one bear to select. On top, it was lacking atmosphere and rather pricey. Service did not pay much attention to us and they were not even busy.

Very pricey here, did not offer value for money. I had a fillet steak and it was so so, I have tasted better bar food. My friend also had steak which was burned. On plus side the staff were nice and friendly. Definitely won't be going back.

We had the lunch special which provides a main and soft drink or tea and coffee with that for 10euros which is tremendous value. I just don't know why it was so empty. The standard of the food was good as was the service. I would definitely recommend for lunch. They also do an early bird for 19.95euros with a glass of wine included. The atmosphere is a little like a work canteen which may be the reason for people not going there at lunch time but overlooking that the food and value for money is very good.
