Things did not bode well for us when we were handed laminated sheets of paper as menus, but we plowed on anyway, willing to give it a go. It won't be something I'll be doing again in a hurry! Found the fish soggy with grease, almost inedible, and had to send the chips back to be cooked properly. The only saving grace was the poor waitress, Very busy and harrassed looking, she was extremely apologetic and quick with fresh chips. Just being in Temple Bar does not justify serving what barely qualifies as pub grub at these prices

Went here over the weekend with a Citydeal voucher. I had eaten here a long time ago on a group night out and the food was great however this time I was a little disappointed. The portions sizes are big but the food is lacking the gastro pub standard. Starters were fine. I had the fish 'n' chips for mains which consisted off a plate full of frozen chips and well over cooked fish. The service was good considering there only appeared to be one waitress looking after all of the tables. Don't think I'll be returning anytime soon!

I went here with a Citydeal voucher last Sunday. The pub is quite grubby. The menu is limited - everything appeared to have been frozen and then deep fried. We were really disappointed with the food. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and will never return. The only thing the place it had going for it was the service!
