Were the previous reviews placed by the owners? I decided on this restaurant based on them, and was mortified to have brought 2 friends from London to this place. We were the only people in the restaurant on a Saturday, so there was no atmosphere (I had to give it 0.5 as 0 is not an option). The food was awful - my friend's steak and my lamb shank appeared to have the same sauce on them (though the menu described something very different), the spring rolls oozed oil, and may have been frozen. The waitress was laying tables for breakfast the next morning while we ate, which can be quite distracting when you are finishing your meal. Because we were the only ones there, we were well looked after, but that's hardly worth boasting about. Horrible place, would actively encourage people to avoid it at all costs!

Me and my friend had a dinner in Terrace Restaurant last Friday and we already booked for the next week. The value here is unbelievable! Early bird three course dinner was only €15 and the food was excellent. My chicken starter was quite large and my friend's soup tasted as really home made. Then I had salmon and he went for duck. The duck was just the best: crispy on the outside and soft and juicy inside. I'm not a big fan of desserts but have to admit that their poached pear is beautiful. We had a bottle of wine, two 3 course meals and paid less than €60. Altogether this is the kind of restaurant I always look for: with great food, relaxed atmosphere, genuinely nice service and inexpensive ;-)

A group of friends and I went for dinner in this restaurant on a busy Friday night. I had booked the restaurant a couple of weeks in advance. The restaurant rang me on a number of occasions to confirm numbers and to inquire as to what time of menu we would like to see. I was impressed by this proactive approach. When we arrived, we were seated promptly and I found the service and the food to be excellent. It was also great value as we had a 3 course meal, coffees and a number of drinks for approximately €40 per person. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
