This is a really nice cafe for lunch, brunch or cake and coffee. They do really good savory tarts and sandwiches. The cakes are amazing and without a doubt they do the best lemon meringue pie in town. Generally the service is very good, however, they do get very busy at times so you may be kept waiting. It's a little be pricey compared to some other cafes around, however the quality of food (especially the cakes!) keeps me going back. P.S. There is a good outside seating area for sunny days.

Got a couple of take away cakes from Here for the weekend! Carrot cake, cheesecake (more like cheese tart) and chocolate cake! All terrible! Would have purchased boxers cakes from aldi's! Chocolate cake was dry, cheesecake was a tart and not a good one ad the carrot cake... Could have bought it in your local shop! Very disappointing!!

I had been in here at Christmas and had a lovely meal with friends so decided to treat my husband to a meal here. The place wasnt busy so we had our pick of seats and the service was quick and friendly. I had the cheese and potato tart which was lovely but my husband wasnt impressed with his ham and cheese sandwich it wasnt great just bland cheese and ham thrown together and the bread didnt seem fresh. the side salad was paltry. If you are looking for a hot meal and dont like savory pastries I wouldnt reccommond here as it really is only a sandwich/tarts and cake cafe. We didnt get cakes but I can vouch that there desserts are delicious I had the most divine Victoria sponge there at Christmas.
