I went here with 2 friends at 6pm on a friday, it was raining out and it was very busy. We were seated immediately. I ordered the cajun chicken burger which was beautifully cooked. My friends ordered the bacon cheese burger and the ribs and chicken combo. The bacon cheese burger was perfect, the ribs were lovely but the chicken was a bit disappointing. We also ordered desert, apple cobbler which was lovely and the chocolate fudge cake was huge, it was made to be shared. Service was very good, the waitress was chatty, funny and very likable. I will definitly be returning. And although we didnt order drinks this time, the cocktail menu was impressive.

We popped in here for lunch on Monday. We were greeted and shown to our seats. Our drink order was taken immediately. The server was quite friendly and topped up the drinks when needed. However, we waited 45 minutes for our food to arrive. People that came in after us, got served before us. The food eventually arrived and wasnt great. My BBQ burger was nice enough but not worth the €17 price tag. My partner got a quesadilla starter which was stated as being big enough to share but was actually quite small. I would be still hungry after eating it to myself. The macaroni cheese was lovely though. The price is a rip off. For 1 starter, 1 main, 1 side and 2 soft drinks, the bill came to €46. Thats a lot of money for a lunch which was mediocre at best. I will not be eating here ever again.

Hardrock cafe is usually the spot where me and my mates usually meet once or every 2 weeks for food and drink. Have always been satisfied and enjoyed myself. I love it there. However today I was very disheartened and disappointed. With being my birthday my 2 friends and I decided to go have lunch there. We were welcomed and seated, but from therein our waitress was very dull, the staff(door hosts) were chatting and texting on their phones. When the waitress asked to order our drinks we agreed and mentioned wed like to order the starter with that too but by the time we got to placing the order she quickly left to put in the drinks and never came back to order our starter. At this stage she only had about 4/5 tables upstairs. We tried to get her attention to order our starter but continued ordering from new coming customers before us. We finally ordered the starter (we had the nachos big plate chicken combo). When we were ready to order mains again it was very hard to get her attention or the new waitresses which had began their shift at 1. When we did order our mains from her, i had asked her if the cajun chicken sandwich was in breadcrumbs (as ive never had it before) she said yea they are, asked a few more questions about the food but she answered them very hastily without any acknowledgement. Asked her about the garlic mayo dip she said it was diff, i said could we have a little bit to taste before we get the food out, she said no problem, but the dip never arrived and she did bring it with the food and charged us for it, not that i wanted it for free but we just wanted to taste it, however i did like it. The mains arrived my chicken was not breaded i had said to her she told me it was breaded, she quickly apologized and said she didnt understand and wasnt listening properly. I asked if there was any other type of chicken on the menu that was breaded she said that hardrock doesnt do breaded chicken, but i had the breaded chicken coujons/tenders there before. She followed up by saying enjoy without being offered or a

I've been here several times to catch-up with friends, the food is gorgeous, the staff are friendly and helpful without being intrusive, the toilets are well-kept, the atmosphere is welcoming, the theme throughout makes it a fun and very hollywood/american style experience.

Went here for a late dinner, I had chicken wings for startes on which they gave a choice of 3 sauces, I chose the heavy metal which were supposed to be the hottest but in my opinion were very mild in comparison to other hot sauces I have tasted. For the main course I had the salmon which was extremely overdone and lacking in taste, I had a side order of mash which looked as though the were a week old! My partner had the blackened chicken pasta with chorizo, the chicken was quite tasty but the pasta was over cooked and there wasnt much chorizo. The waitress was nice although we did have to call her a couple of times to get the bill. For dessert I had a hot fudge sundae which was huge and big enough for 3 people to share, however there was no cream on the top which was stated in the menu and I couldnt find the waitress to ask her for some. Overall, not a great dining experience, very overpriced for the quality of food and will not be coming back.

The food here is stereotypical American fare - hamburgers, ribs, fried things etc. My friend and I chose the 15euro menu - which you get 2 courses from quite a limited choice. The starter is set - onion rings and chicken wings. Quite tasty though. We both got burgers for mains, and I found my veggie burger quite dry. Also I opted for a side-salad which seemed a bit thrown together. The staff weren't super attentive - we were walked past quite a bit despite being ready to order/our plates being ready to be taken away. Also, when I finished my pepsi I asked for a glass of water, and instead of giving me a new glass, she simply took mine and filled it with water. So I received a slightly brown and pepsi tinged glass of water black. On the positive side, the memorabilia adorning the walls is fantastic and the music is great, if sometimes a tad to loud to easily chat over.

I ate here with seven friends, service very good, they were very accommodating as some of the party were late / numbers changed etc. We ended up in a private booth on the ground floor, perfect for a group like ours was. We ate off the €15 starter / mains or mains / dessert menu which was good value for money. The €5 cocktail menu went down very well also! The only slight criticism was that there was only one starter on the €15 menu, and it was chicken wings with onion rings, which was delicious but we had two vegetarians in the group and they would have liked a veggie option. Good value for money overall, will recommend.

Hosted a small end of summer party American style here on Saturday night and booked a table for ten through the website. I only found out later that one of my party was a wheelchair user and when I arrived the Hard Rock had no lift. I asked them if they could sort out a table on the ground floor if we waited and this was no problem at all. The hostess was very nice and friendly about it. In the end by the time the whole gang of us arrived and we were ready to order there was no waiting time for us at all and it was very smooth service. We all opted for the two course menu for €15 and this was fine. Burgers are all cooked the same way though and I couldn't get a medium one, only medium well. The bill came to €190 for nine of us, which was very good value considering most of us had more than one alcoholic drink. I will definitely be back. Recommended.

Visited here Saturday evening with a friend and tried the €15 menu, for a starter and main course My friend is vegetarian so she was delighted to see that the Cafe catered for same. Lots of choices for the main courses but there is only one starter on the menu with this deal which itself is not very good. Atmosphere excellent as Cafe was full. Service excellent also and value for money was ok, would give it a try even if its only for the atmosphere.

Visited Hard Rock with my daughter and 2 small grandkids. Service was great,if a little bit slow, waiter very friendly and smiley, even when grandson spilt his milk all over the floor! My cheese burger was excellent, well cooked and very tasty. Kids shared a meal, big portion of chicken and lots of chips. Garnished with slices of orange, it went down a treat. Daughter had the sharing platter, quite expensive at 27.00, but she enjoyed it so it was worth the money. Overall it was a pleasent experience, great atmosphere and good fun. Will go back again soon.

Very disappointed with the Dublin Hard Rock - after visiting a number of other Hard Rocks around the world we thought we'd give the one in our home town ago on Friday night. We ordered the meal deal which consisted of a mixed platter for starter and a burger for dinner for €15. The starters were ok, clearly mass produced, but edible. The burgers on the other hand were absolutely disgusting. My cheese burger was obviously a factory made burger patty from the freezer that was completely incinerated. My husband's cajun chicken had clearly been sitting out for a long time. Perhaps an order from the main menu rather than the meal deal would have produced better quality food, however a burger from there was over €15 in itself - extortionate! A real shame, we won't be returning.

This place is great. The service is awesome and mega fun and friendly. The food is really American and the burgers are great. The chips are nice and the ice cream brownies for dessert are great. I'll definitely go back to this establishment.

Ate here on a Saturday afternoon. Service was served with a miserable face. A new waitress came on later in our meal & she was very nice & attentive though. Chicken fajitas were ok - a bit tastless which is hard to do & chicken was a little rubbery. Chicken burger was a little better, it was tasty & the fries are really nice. The 5 euro cocktails are great though. Overall, I wouldn't be pushed to go back, average american fare. Sorry...

Came here for dinner the other night as part of a large group. Service was very poor - they took a long time to take our order, the food was slow to arrive, and a couple of us had ordered from the set menu and the waitstaff forgot about our desserts. The food was standard American fare, nothing particularly spectacular. My cheeseburger was pretty average. Portions were very large though, and I did appreciate the €5 cocktails. It took us a while to figure out that we could turn down the uncomfortably loud music, and once we had done so, things were a lot better.

Four of us went here for evening dinner. between us had ribs, chicken, burger & 'pig sandwich'. In general, food was good, but the sandwich was a bit dry - could have done with BBQ sauce. Servings were huge! Choc brownie Sundae was enough for 3 us us - though teenage boy managed to polish his off hImself! - but was stuffed afterwards! Service was a bit slow at times, though friendly. Was expensive compared to other restaurants with similar menus/food standard, so while I'd probably go again, the price would put me off going too soon!

Hadn't been to HRC for awhile so decided to give it another try since it was great last time. Ended up rather disappointed at the drop of standard. Atmosphere was still good. Both my ribs & chicken were really dry and tasteless, perhaps they were busy on a Saturday night and didn't marinate & grill properly. Their apple crumble is devilish though, it is a must! Waiters were very attentive, maybe slightly too much to be honest. Overall I wouldn't pay so much for food at such quality again, but this is one of those places that you'll probably end up coming back to once in a blue moon anyway.

Went there on Paddy's day with the other half. The restaurant was full, but not packed, got seated in 10 mins which was really good cause I was really hungry. We ordered nachos, chicken wings, mac n cheese and a bbq bacon burger. The food was tasty, but you have been warned the nacho serving was massive!!! It could have easily fed the both of us! Needless to say we got tonnes of leftover nachos. :( It was a bit pricey, but overall it was enjoyable.

Visited with a group of friends after work on Friday evening. As always this restaurant has a good atmosphere and the staff are efficient and friendly. The selection on the menu is good but the value for money on all the dishes is very bad. The food is tasty and always well presented but the hard rock cafe will have to reduce their prices before I return

I viisited the hard rock cafe today with my wife and we were seated immediately by a very friendly waitress. The cafe was quite busy and the atmosphere good. We ordered steaks for our main course and were pleasantly surprised at their taste and presentation. However one negative is that the price of each of the steaks was €23.95 each which I consider quite high for an 8 oz siroloin. Perhaps the hard rock cafe should consider reducing the price of their steaks otherwise we will choose a burger next time we visit.

I visited this restaurant today with my husband and was glad to get into a nice warm atmosphere. We were seated almost immediately, handed our menues and our orders were taken without delay. We ordered two sirloin steaks (8 oz) for €23.95 each that came with either french fries or potatoes and some vegetables. Very tasty food, hot and presentation was nice. However the value was not good and would not recommend to pay this money for a steak in future. We should have went for a cheaper main course. Service was excellent, staff very friendly and overall a pleasant visit.

This is a terrible restaurant, its so expensive, €16.75 for a burger and chips??? My chips we luke warm and the burger was average. My friend got a "side salad" which consisted of brown iceberg lettuce and a quartered tomato and some sliced onion....a coke was €3.45, which turned out to be pepsi from a tap.... The majority of customers appeared to be tourists, which is a real shame because dublin has alot more to offer...in terms of quality and value even in the fast food area... I would never go back here..

Typical american style restaurant. Decent food, good atmosphere. Good place to start off a night out maybe. Have been here friends from work a couple of times and my GF, and have good nights. Food is reasonable enough in price and is usually pretty good while not amazing. Service is usually good too.

The burgers there are incredible. We had 20euro vouchers so we got our food cheap. I had a bacon and cheese burger with fries and it was amazing. Also you don't have to wait too long for your food. The atmosphere is good except the music is played a little too loudly so it's hard to hear conversation. That was my first time going there and I'd definitely go again but maybe for a special occasion. It's a little pricey if you're a student.

Have been here on a few occasions and the food is good, but they may need to make their menu a bit more exotic to appeal to all as it is quite basic but still good for a fill (soakage) before you hit the bars

This place is aweful. The only redeeming feature is that the food is not bad. Otherwise, the service is really slow - 50 minutes before we got food to the table. The atmosphere is not existent - loud music, probably to drown out the noise of the bored children. There are lots of other really decent independent restaurants in the area so why bother with this over commercialised nightmare.

Over-rated! I wouldn't bother going back to this place - its good for young teenagers but other than that age group I wouldn't recommend it to anyone! The only good thing I'd have to say about this place is that the waitor was very friendly - the food was only ok and a bit overpriced for what you get in my opinion!

I visited Hard Rock Cafe as a group of 6 on a Monday night. It wasn't particularly busy but then it was a Monday night. Our waiter was excellent - he was chatty, funny, attentive and very knowledgeable about the cocktails and could answer all our questions! The 5 euro cocktails were excellent value and we took great advantage of them as we were celebrating. I had nachos with chicken for a main course and it was nice apart from the chicken - it was just cooked cubes of chicken put on top, the chicken wasn't cooked in a way as to make it blend with the dish or have any particular flavour. However everything else was lovely and the service was first class.

I came here recently with a few friends and to be honest I was disappointed. The atmosphere is great and the staff are brilliant. However, and I know it's not exactly their specialty but there wasn't much in the way of vegetarian options and I found anything that was suitable to be a tad expensive for what you're getting. I'm sure it's fine for meat eaters, though.

As someone who has previously eaten in Hard Rock in the US and Amsterdam I hoped I wouldn't be disappointed by the Irish branch. We were seated very quickly, however the seat was in a bit of a draft as the main front doors are left open all the time. We were in the mood for a cocktail and felt we couldn't go wrong with €5 all day menu. I had a side Caeser Salad as a starter and for mains I had The Big Cheese, she had the SOS burger. Both were served with fries. They were so filling at lunchtime that even at 8pm that evening we were still full right up. I love Hard Rock Cafe, the Irish version is as good as the others.

Went in on a friday with my girlfriend before a concert at the O2 and was seated straight away. The food was good and as we only had a main the wait on service wan't really a bother. Great cocktails, i went for a Purple Haze. Good atmospere with all the rock memorabelia on the walls but having the shop with all the tourists coming in and out right beside you is a bit distracting.

Getting a table was fine but waiting in between courses, the service really slipped. We waited twenty minutes for dessert to be delivered. The coffees had been delivered fifteen minutes earlier so they'd have been cold if we'd waited to have them with the desserts. When the desserts were delivered we didn't take any chances and asked for the bill straight away. The food was traditional American but pretty bland: traditional burgers with chips and salad. Very middle of the road cooking.

Service was very good for a sunny, busy day in temple bar. My boyfriend had a burger which he enjoyed I had the pulled pork sandwich which tasted too much of vinegar for my liking (but it did mention that on the menu). Was a chilled out nice meal nothing major to praise or to complain about. Not a bad spot.

Took my friends son here as a treat for his 13th birthday... he loved it, the old music classics playing, he loved the decor/atmosphere of the place... the food is tasty and the service is very good. It is v expensive although we ordred way too much food! The rib / chicken combo is good as are the fajitas and the chips are yummy. I'd go back but wouldnt order as much food as the portions are large.

My collague and I treated ourselves to a burger and big glas of coke. The burger was decent enough, but shame on the chef otherwise since its priced at eur 20. The coke was served in a big glas which contained about 50% ice. Not good especially at eur 3.45. Overall it was quite ok but I do think I am right to expect a bit better of such an establishment. Service was typically jouvial american, loud music (what ells in hard rock?) and service alright but about 25 min waiting time to get our food. Maybe its time to shape up in the kitchen, after all it was only about 15 dining guests.

If you are considering eating here, do yourself a big favour and go somewhere else. I went here with friends because many years ago we worked in Hard Rock Amsterdam. The place is exactly the same. Nachos were good but 15euro? come off it. My veggie burger was cremated. The staff were efficient and the manager really apologetic but even the second non-burnt burger was vile. The cocktails may be good value but the bar person needs to be trained...they were so badly made. Music was 80's rock all evening. Its just bad on the whole but the staff are really nice.

We took 3 visiting teenagers to Hard Rock cafe last Friday night. I was mistaken in my thinking that this would be 'cool' experience for them. This place is sad & dated, it appears to be aimed at people still stuck in the 1980s. As for the food - it was incredibly disappointing: I had to hunt for the chicken in my chicken salad.

We went here on new years eve and the atmosphere was electric! The food was brilliant and even though the staff were mad busy we were not waiting long for our food. The cocktails are to die for and I would happily recommend the Mojito's. We had the Chicken, artichoke and spinach dip to share for starters and it was that good I was eating the dip with a spoon instead of the nacho's given. We also got a salsa dip and some sour cream for the nacho's which were great. I had the Twisted chicken mac and cheese and the portions were huge. My boyfriend had the blackened chicken pasta and it was beautiful and the sauces were plentiful without it being to much. I would highly recommend her to all my friends and family to go back for more.

Went here the other night for a meal. The food and cocktails were lovely, but the prices aren't great for what you get. The cocktails are great value, but we were left waiting for over 20 minutes for our mains to arrive, and quite a few mins for our drinks. Anytime we asked for anything, it was just 'Doesn't come with that'. But the food is nice, not as good as america though!Would go back for the cocktails!

I visited the Hard Rock just before Christmas for a reunion with people I knew from college. We'd all eaten there almost exactly four years ago and, it has to be said, the place is more or less the exact same. When you go somewhere like the Hard Rock I think you expect to be overcharged somewhat for the food. We knew going there that we'd be paying €15 upwards for burger and chips but that's what we signed on for. The great thing about the Hard Rock is the fun atmosphere though. Our waitress was cheery and full of banter, the music vidoes on the screens provided the subject for much discussion and the decor is zany and distinctive. It's the perfect place to go before a night out on the town, provided you're not on too strict a budget.

I've eaten here several times over the last few years and it's been pretty consistent. The food is always good. You don't get enough for the extortionate price you pay but the quality is rarely low. The service is usually fine. There's always a staff member nearby if any problems arise and solve an issue without too much of a problem. They're usually really friendly too. Not a place for older patrons as the music is usually loud(as if the name of the place didn't give that one away!). As this type of restaurant goes, it would be high on my list but as there aren't really any good restaurants of this type in Dublin, that's not really saying much. Not the worst place you could go for a bite to eat and if you're not being hit by the recession too much, this place should have you coming back at least once to try something else.

Went here with workmates for our christmas nightout, we did the 3 course christmas menu for 35 Euro's. You pay for what you get as the old saying goes. Not any atmosphere, but the waiter was very attentive. Next year we'll be more organised and go somewhere else.

This was possibly one of the worst eating experiences i've had. Although the food was pretty tasty, it costs far more than it should. The service also leaves a lot to be desired...we had just started our starter of a whopper plate of nachos when our main corses arrived. Still, the waitress, at least twice asked us were we finished our starter when clearly we weren't. So cold food, poor service and for that price, I won't be going back.

Came here as a group of 20 for lunch recently. Having been in the one in NYC, I was a little deflated by the "not quite rightness" of the place. Service was really quick and efficient, and the food was done perfect. We all ordered sandwiches of differents sorts and we all drooled over each others choices!

Terrible. I agree with all prior comments, if I had a free meal here again I wouldnt go. Have been in 6/7 Hard Rock Cafes and this is a disgrace compared to the others. Should not have the HRC name. Way overpriced, €76 for a combo starter and 2 very average mains. Starter for 2 was €23 which I would have eaten myself. 2 Pigeons perhaps. Waiter was polite, staff at bar very rude. Had our 10 month old son with us, asked for a slice of toast for him and was charged €3. Disgrace.Stay well clear, we certainly wont be visiting the Dublin HRC again. Would give all 0 on the ratings if I could.

Went here recently for the first time in a couple of years and it has definitely slipped a bit, starters were good but main courses were only ok. Service not great, we weren't finished our starters when they brought the main courses n then we were kind of ignored until the bill came! Great cocktails though!

I was not terribly impressed by the Hard Rock cafe. I had the Chicken Wings and they were just only OK. The presentation was crap. I also had some fries which for the price was not great. I thought that the food quality in relation to the cost for the three of us that ate there was nowhere near where it should be. The service was really bad as well. I had to ask three times for a glass of water and for a place that seemed that there was a lot of waiting staff, nobody was checking their area. I would not go back there if I was choosing the restaurant myself.

A fun restaurant but the food is no where near the quality it should be for the price, but going to Hard Rock is more of a tourist thing anyway as they are in every capital city and generally the same.

Great atmosphere for a party, lots of music and generally just a good ambience. Foodwise, it's not up to restaurant standard, but then it never claims to be and doesn't need to be. Its a high-entertainment diner, good fun fun. Go for a Jumbo combo to start, and get the tangy sauce, its gorgeous. Go for burgers or fajitas for main or my favourite is the cobb salad (but mainly for the ranch dressing). Dessert, only one choice: Brownie, I used to work in the kitchen here, and everybody in the whole restaurant would sneak back to the fridge to grab a brownie or two, to snack on during the day. A fun day out with kids or a party night out, but don't expect Michelin star food.

We too ate here for free with tesco vouchers, the food was 'fine' (little bit cold and basicly not great overall), but definately WAY overpriced for what it is, would not recommend eating here unless its free! Service was very good though, we ate upstairs, downstairs seems to have a better atmosphere. The customers were all tourists who are obviously just going for the Hard Rock name, locals seem to know better. I won't be returning.

There are only 3 things I come here for: the chicken wings, the twisted mac and cheese and the cocktails! Generally, it is overpriced and not worth the money, but then again it is a franchise and it is in the middle of Temple Bar, so kind of expected! I'd go again but only for the above mentioned items!

I ate here for free with Tesco vouchers from my clubcard. Even at free I feel ripped off. The food is very expensive when compared to the quality of it. The chicken is simply awful. If you bought that last piece of chicken at a deli counter that's been swimming in grease all day it would taste better. You simply cannot buy food of such low quality in shops that I know of, where does this food come from? How can it possibly taste so bad? Yellow pack chicken wings would be of a higher standard! So after a horrible starter and a disgusting Mojito (obviously made by someone who'd never mixed a drink in their lives) we ordered fillet steaks. They where cooked medium rare as requested and came with those cardboard chips that only the very laziest and worst establishments tend to serve out of total distain for their customers. The quality of the beef was worse than the chicken. Those cows must have had horrific lives. I have cooked a €2 steak at a campfire and it didn't taste half as bad as this thing. So needless to say we ate a few bites & left them. The waiter did enquire if we where happy, our faces told the story before we did. He just said "oh well, dessert?" :) which made me laugh, didn’t care in the slightest. We got dessert as we figured they can't screw that up, we're using tokens and we're starving as all the other food was inedible to this point. We both got chocolate cake with ice cream, in fairness this was lovely, they must have bought it from another shop because there's no way they did something right.

We've been here a few times, and we usually always get the nachos for starter, but between us as the helping in plentiful and the cheese has a happy place on the plate. The bugers are really nice, but i've had nicer in a few other places, the place is bright and usually very busy, and the staff were very friendly and helped us whenever we asked for anythign (salt etc) would definietly eat here again, but I'd recommend it if you're after a casual dinner after a long shop.

Being my second time there I was disappointed as the food wasn't what I remembered. The atmosphere wasn't what you would expect from the Hard Rock, for a start it was too bright. However the food was edible and it is fairly priced for its location.

My girlfriend and I went here shortly after my birthday as I had gotten a one for all voucher which the Hard Rock accepts. The service was a disappointment with our main courses arriving when we were only half way through our starter.(nachos which were decent enough). The order the food came in detracted a lot from the meal and we haven't been back since. Nice look to the place though.

Ate here on a rainy Saturday. Ordered the nachos to start and they were decent aside from the fact that there was a decent pound of cheese on them. Shared nachos as a starter but the two of us couldn't finish them. Cajun chicken sambo for the main course which is tasty once you get through the fillet of cheese that sits of top of it. The staff were quite nice and helpful but it's still very over-priced. The chips were sub-par. They were cheese-free though. Which was nice.

Went here last friday after work because we had vouchers and hadn't been there before. Have to say it will prob be my first and last visit to the place. Starter was lovely- Smoked Chicken, spinach and artichoke dip. I had the pulled pork burger and my partner had the HRC Bacon Cheeseburger. Have to say neither were great. Chips were nothing special either. Our meal was made somewhat interesting by the brief visit of Marco Pierre White but other than that I can say it was quite boring. Everything overpriced for what is it in my opinion.

Ate here after work on Monday. We ended up here as most other restaurants were very busy. We we arrived there was only a handful of people there. Two of us ordered burgers and one person order pasta. All the food was ok. Typical burger and chips. Not exceptionally tasty but ok.

On Friday evening after shopping, everywhere else was booked so we got a table very quickly here, even though it was very busy with Christmas parties. Service was excellent, our waitress was so quick and attentive. Food was great as always and the atmosphere was what it was. We had the burgers and nachos for starters (which are huge) Really like this place.

A lot of negative experiences are associated to this place, but as far as American diner grub goes, I think Hard Rock has done well. Though they could do with more waiters at busy times.

Not at all impressed. Places like this survive because of their reputation and not their food quality or atmosphere which in both cases is poor. Hate the over the top American theme.

Went here for a birthday not too long ago. The food was quite expensive, the portions weren't as large as I expected (the picture of what you are getting is twice the size of what you get). Nice enough atmosphere, friendly staff but for an American place, I wasn't completely full leaving.

It was easy to get a seat here but it was very cramped as the staff let 7 people sit at a table barely big enough for 4 right behind us. My friend couldn't even get out to go to the bathroom without making 4 people from another table get up. The food itself was alright when it came. The nachos were very dry and cold and the cheese hadn't melted on them. The server didn't seem to want to be there at all and he brought the wrong mains to the table and then proceeded to ignore us for the rest of the evening. The chocolate cake is good. Getting the bill was like getting blood from a stone and when we tried to get up and pay we were told to go back to our table and wait for our server to bring our bill. I won't be going back here in a hurry!

Not a very nice place to eat, although the menu has a good bit of variety the food is generally boring and unhealthy. The atmosphere is very loud and the staff seems slightly uninterested in us. The food took an age to arrive and wasn't very nice. Wouldn't go back again, not good value for money at all.

The food was very good, a wide menu with lots of nice dishes however the atmosphere felt a bit fake and not really cosy for the kind of money you are paying, I would not go back

Very overrated restaraunt, the kind that gets by on a name. Food portions are huge and wouldn't have any complaint about the food itself but service is very basic. This place advertises for groups at Christmas but when we went in a group of twelve service was quite slow and we certainly weren't made to feel very welcome!

Will not be returning! Four of us decided to try out Hard Rock and boy were we sorry! It was so noisy we could barely think (and were in our twenties!) We waited nearly an hour to get our main course and it was blamed on the fact that I had ordered my steak well done! They brought the wrong vegetables and when we complained about the poor service they gave us our minerals for free, which didn’t make up for the fact that our night was ruined by over tasteless food and dreadful service.

Completely Overrated!! Went there on Saturday night, there was 6 of us dining. We had to wait 20 minutes for a table (not bad) so we decided to have a drink - no cider on tap, no soft drinks apart from OJ, they didn’t seem to serve a lot of anything really. Bottles were pricey enough at 4.75 a pop. Food was just ok, chicken wings were lovely, but the fajitas were v. bland. Others had burgers etc weren’t crazy about them and the steak was just ok. Overall not great service. Waitress knocked over a drink and asked did we want another one - we said yes (obviously) and we were charged for the drink she knocked over. Wouldn’t rush back there.

This is what you would expect of a chain of Hard Rocks across the world. It is tasty for food but the drinks are a bit watered down. My vodka and white was mostly water.

Came here with 2 others and found it is a very much over hyped place with really inflated prices for very average food!! I had the Chicken Wings and the Cobb Salad the others had burgers and we all thought everything was so bland with no zest!! Service was just ok. Won't go again unless it's for free!!

Your typical American-style eatery. Lots of paraphernalia on the walls and low lighting. The cocktails are great and really tasty. The food is what you would expect, lots of deep fat fried battered things with chips and lots of salt. Which, when you want it, can be extremely satisfying. The staff and friendly, and when it's not too busy the service is quite good. But when it's busy you can be waiting quite a while for your order. Still, good atmosphere.

Went here a few weeks ago for a friend’s birthday. There were 15 of us dining and we waited 20 mins for our table (although we had rang ahead a few days before and made reservations). The waiter was lovely and very apologetic about the length of time we had to wait for our food. Half of the girls were left waiting on their food so they told us to go ahead and eat ours, which we were finished by the time they started. The staff are lovely but the food wasn’t spectacular for the price we paid. I found this place to be over rated and wouldn’t go there again.

Had lunch at the Hard Rock recently and it wasn't very memorable except for the service. Food was very basic but the service was entertaining in the form of a very friendly and chatty waiter, who wasn't busy and used his time to talk with us. Don't visit here for the best burgers and fries.

Service and atmosphere was good here. I came to this restaurant on a night out with a group of friends and the food was not excellent but the desserts and cocktails made up for that! I wouldn't recommend this place for a quiet meal if you are expecting good food and a quiet meal but for groups of people and a fun experience, I would come back here again.

I would say that this is the worst Hard Rock Cafe I have visited. The food was no where near as good as it is in London. Very disappointing as we had to wait 40 minutes for our food to arrive. The quality and quantity was not good. Definitely wouldn’t be eating here again.

A real let-down compared to the Hard Rock in New York, L.A and Amsterdam. Two of us had to sit watching as the third member of our group was served long before us. Her meal was lukewarm so we told her not to wait. Over priced Cocktails, 8 euro and up for desserts, sorry it just doesn’t work. A real let down!

We have eaten in Hard Rock Cafe several times. The most enjoyable aspect of this place is the cocktails, refreshing and delicious. The food is average, and one will receive an enormous plate of whatever is ordered. It is too much hard work to eat a starter and desert too, the former being enough for a dinner on its own and the latter being usually very luscious and heavy. You will leave Hard Rock Cafe absolutely stuffed- as far as American eateries go; this one is a little more than ok.

I definitely agree that this branch of the Hard Rock Cafe doesn't live up to its international sisters! It was nothing compared to the other ones I've been too in Cancun, Florida and even across the water in London! Poor service and below par food. We both ordered cocktails...one was like drinking lemonade and the other pure vodka (maybe they put the alcohol from mine into the wrong glass!!) I won't be returning until they get their act together! Also the annoying automatic doors kept opening and closing every few seconds and it was freezing!

I can't understand what the big fuss is about with this place, service is slow and the food is just ok, for the price your paying it really doesn't seem worth it. You can get a nicer burger in Eddie Rockets or in most other fast food outlets for a fraction of the price!

Such a disappointment. Wouldn't go back ever. Hostess was quite rude but the waitress was very helpful. Burgers were off, leaving quite a limited choice on the menu. Cajun Chicken sandwich looked pink to me but when queried, I was told that it was just the lights. Couldn't bring myself to eat it so was quite an expensive portion of chips (albeit delicious chips) at 14 euro. Didn't stay for dessert as everything bar the ice-cream contained nuts. Overpriced, complete lack of atmosphere, not impressed.

I have been in the Hard Rock Café Dublin 2 or 3 times, we are always choosing the Jumbo mix.... it is nice but the price $$$$$$$$$$ too much, for the same in Lisbon you pay about half the price... never had problems with the staff... So it would be a good idea for them to look into the quality/price???????????

Probably the most overpriced restaurant in Dublin in terms of what you get. I ordered the Cobb salad, I always do if I see it on a menu in Ireland as I absolutely love this. It was basically limp lettuce swimming in a bowl of vinegar. The service was awful, our waiter was practically scowling at us for being in his empty restaurant. It was a horrific experience, I would never go back!

Great food, great atmosphere, no queue for seating and the prices are a little high, but you always have a great night there if you go with a big crowd. We always go before heading out to Temple Bar and never have any regrets.

Went to the Hard Rock Cafe in Temple Bar after having had a great time in the one in Amsterdam. We were initially impressed by the good service and I ordered what I had in Amsterdam, which was delicious there, only to have a mediocre, cold, chewy version of it returned to me. The burgers were heavily overcooked and even the sundaes didn't live up to my expectations. A bit of a scarring experience, certainly needs a lot of work to live up to the international standards.

Hard Rock Cafe is the best restaurant ever...the food is gorgeous especially the chips...I think the atmosphere is great the staff are so friendly and so lively and the place does be kicking with loud music...the only problem I had was that u have to wait a wile to be seated but I had already known that when I went so I wasn't that bothered... its great the way when there's a birthday that they stand you up and get everyone to sing happy birthday to you...me and my boyfriend had such a laugh there and I would definitely 100% go back...ok yes its a bit pricey but its so worth it...

Have eaten here once or twice before and have to agree with some of the comments about price from other reviews here. A bit too expensive for the dishes even if the portions are large. Having said that however, the food is nice, and unlike others the Purple haze cocktail in here blew the head off me, which was good. I think the lack of atmosphere in here puts a lot of people off, anytime I have been in here it has been fairly empty and cold with the staff at the top of the stairs having a chat rather than making sure (the few) customers were happy with there food. Have to mention as well the honey mustard sauce is gorgeous!! Where oh where do they get that stuff??

Horrible cheap chewy synthetic over priced food. Typical fake American diner. They do have nice cocktails, however, there doesn't seem too much alcohol in them. Service is good and attentive but it hardly compensates for all its downfalls.

I ate here for the first time Christmas week and have mixed feelings about the place. The food was really nice and we had some lovely cocktails and the bill was very reasonable for 3 people I was expecting it to be much more expensive for what we had. On the downside there is no atmosphere as such like other Hard Rock cafes, we were sitting downstairs and we found it very cold, the music is way too loud we had to shout at each other.

I would agree that it certainly lacks the atmosphere that the other Hard Rocks seem to have in other countries. It seems to get away with the overpricing because of the Hard Rock reputation for ripping off tourists. However any other Hard Rock that I have been in, as regards the food, is great value for money - not in our own city however. Having said that, the food is lovely and the staff are pleasant. The music sometimes though is way too loud!

Will not be going back here again! I went to this restaurant midweek so I expected it to be fairly relaxed, and the place wasn't even full. The big problem here was the service, it's nice to have your food delivered to your table promptly but not before you're finished the previous course! Myself and a few friends had ordered our food and our starters arrived very promptly, we weren't even finished that and they were trying to take it away to give us our main course! AND the same thing happened with the dessert! A rushed dinner is not a happy dinner no matter how nice the food is!

Went here with my parents and boyfriend for a cheap night out. Had similar problems with the cocktails as the previous comment, we actually complained about the lack of alcohol in them, and found the staff very rude when we did. Food was fine, but just lacks the atmosphere that exists in other Hard Rock Cafe's around the world. I don't plan on returning.
