Visited this restaurant last month for a family party and was really impressed. There was a big table of 18 of us and i felt for a party like that the food, presentation and value was superb. Portion sizes were huge (sides with everything inclueded - maybe too much food!). Staff were very freindly also. great selection on menu which suited our family party of teenagers, adults and elderly .. nice restaurant

Went to Reeves restaurant with a group of 17 people to celebrate a 70th birthday and it proved to be a wonderful dining experience. The waiting staff were very friendly and professional. There were quite a few tables full yet there was no rushing or fussing and the orders flowed effortlessly. My starter of chicken salad could have passed as a main and the selection of bread wasvery tasty. My main course was a stuffed chicken dish which was also very good. Everybody had different dishes and no had any complaints, except that the shank of lamb was far too big! There was so much veg and potatoes that nobody could finish.Desserts and coffee finished off a fine meal and everyone left feeling very happy. Will be back.

I went here for dinner on Saturday night last and had the 3 course early bird for €25, i had the brie and Salmon parcels for starter and it was nice and tasty, i had the steak for main which was cooked to perfection but i be honest it was not very well flavoured so was a bit disappointed with it, i finished with the apple tart and ice cream which was nice and tasty. The restaurant had a lovely buzz about the place but it was uncomfortably hot.. The staff were friendly and very helpful but all in all we probably had about 6 different people serving us which i thought was a bit strange.. Not sure i would come back and if i would i doubt i would order the steak again..

Was there about a month ago, sat night, (Note - remember to book in advance !) the place was packed but the staff were very friendly and got us a table ASAP. For starter I had fish cakes and my husband had the bruschetta, both were FABULOUS, very tasty, excellent presentation, perfect portion size. For main I tried the Lamb Pie.I wasn t too sure about it but decided to give it a go.It was very tasty and the pastry was nice and light, my husband was also very happy with his steak. Will be coming back for sure.

Visited Reeves with family for an early dinner. Considering we were a table of 8 including three small children, the service and attention shown was excellent. This is definitely a family friendly restaurant. The food was of very good quality, in particular the pâté starter and the chicken stir fry. Portion size is very large so would advise going hungry. Overall though excellent value for money and an excellent local restaurant. We will be returning.

Went here on Sunday evening, had a great value €56 deal. Two courses for two people and a bottle of wine. Starters were superb, fish cakes and paté. Main courses- one was excellent (lamb shank) and the other not so good, 8oz steak. Steak was overdone and lacked any real flavour. The lamb was excellent however, fell off the bone and was very tasty. Will definitely be back to try more of the brilliant menu selection. Place was jam packed and the atmosphere was really good. Despite the full restaurant the service was top notch, attentive, very friendly and quick.

I came here on a Sunday afternoon for a family meal and we all left impressed! The staff were really lovely, it seems to be the type of place where regulars return. I had curry spring rolls for starter which were very tasty. I was slightly disappointed with my choice of main(Duck) It was a large portion of duck served with a sausage stuffing. I felt it should have come with veg or some other side. However I had no complaints at all with the Bread and Butter pudding! Other dishes which were recommended were the Pate, Cajun Blacked Chicken and the stir fry. The kids menu is also brilliant value, with a good choice and large portions.

Went to Reeves last sunday for mother and aunts birthday. It was a lovely sunny day and we enjoyed a drink al fresco in the beer garden of the pub downstairs. There were eight of us and we all enjoyed our meals very much.I had cajun chicken and savory rice and it nicest chicken I have had in a long time.Full of flavour and melt in the mouth. Side salad also tasty and delicious. The fresh cod my mam had also got thumbs up as did the duck and beef other members of the party had. I was too full for dessert but my aunt had the cheesecake and parents had apple pie.All declared winners! There is always a great atmosphere in reeves and the staff are fab. They make you feel very welcome and important no matter how busy they are. They are excellent and never appear flustered or under pressure. As previous reveiwers have stated, even with big groups they never mix up orders. Am really looking forward to visiting this delightful restaurant again.

Visited Reeves on Sat night with a party of 10 for a family occasion. We were greeted by the Hostess who was very friendly and she showed us to our seats. The restaurant was fairly packed but it has a great buzz about the place. It was a little hot but once we requested that the air con be turned on it was fine, the staff were more than happy to accomadate us. I have to say the service is excellent and the waiter took a drinks order until every body was ready to order their food. When the food arrived the waiter knew exactly who had ordered which individual dish so there wasn't the usual confusion you might find in another restaurant. I had the pate to start and my sister in law had the prawns in garlic with rice & both were exceptional. My main course was a fillet steak with pepper sauce the steak was beautiful and the sauce perfect. All in the party really enjoyed the food. The bill was €420 which included the service charge for parties 8 or over. I thought this was good value as half of us had 3 courses and plenty of wine with our meal. I will definatly be back again.

Absolutely love this restaurant! The food here is absolutely gorgeous, great selection and there is something for everyone, the atmosphere is lovely as it is a cosy restaurant above a pub which is very handy if you fancy a few drinks after the meal rather than going home! The staff are extremely friendly and accomadating and the value is excellent, i will be going back very very soon

Went to Reeves with a large group of family members. Service was excellent. The staff knew exactly who had ordered what when the food came out. No shouting out dishes. The food was delicious and nobody had any complaints. Price was reasonable for 3 courses plus drinks. There was a good atmosphere in the restaurant and it is in a handy location if you want a quiet drink before or after your meal in the local pub.

Went back to Reeves on Sat. night for the Early Bird. Only booked at last minute and luckily got table. 2 courses still only €21 incl tea or coffee but the 50cl bottle of wine cost us €12.50 - listed as being €9!!! Can't complain as food very tasty, great choice and staff lovely. Only complaint on the night was the weather - and can't blame Reeves on that!

I brought a party of 14 persons here for a special occasion and, as usual, we were very satisfied. The service was excellent, the menu was varied and the food was top class. We had booked for 8 o clock and they were ready for us but they did not rush us. I would be happy to bring others here and will probably be a frequent customer.

Will not be going here again. Overpriced and bland food. Have been here 3 times. After my last experience I will never returning. The chicken wings for starters were very bland. I asked for garlic bread with cheese and NO garnish. My starter came out with salad and herb dressing all over it and the dressing was even on the bread. I said to the waiter to ensure my Burger had no Garnish. The burger seemed fine until i bit into it, it was full of onions, so i called the waiter and told him I couldnt eat it or I would be very sick. I got steak and chips instead (a tiny steak at that). The chips had been cooked in a hurry and were lumpy. My wife said the Chicken Conor was also extremely bland like her starter so she didnt eat it. Her 11 year old niece ordered roast beef which was nice but was €17 for a carvery style dish for a child!! The bill was over €90. This restaraunt is overpriced, overrated and the food gets worse every time. The waiters dont listen to your order and it takes forever for them to bring you a drink. Not impressed at all.

I cannot fault this place. I found it on Menu Pages and followed the good reviews. Glad I did. Went for the early bird for 2. 66 euro 3course with wine. I had Seafood chowder to start and it was full on - no skimping. The mother had Garlic bread and then the Sirlion - which she was delighted with. The house wine was perfect with both mains I had the spicy chicken which was not too spicy but there is an indian type dish if thats what u crave (think its vindaloo) The staff where fantastic, very down to earth but attentive enough to even pour our wine and bring the courses out at the RIGHT TIME! This is almost unheard of in most places I've been where I'm usually either rushed into the next one or waiting ages. (and the place was busy for the middle of the week) They Just do their Job, and the value for money speaks for itself. Just Go. you wont be disappointed. Sorry to sound like an advert but it really was that good. Will be back for sure.

Go here regularly with my wife, always enjoy it and would recommend. They have a new menu recently which is very good value. I normally go for the fillet steak (very nice) but if I'm going for the early bird or midweek menus I get the sirloin steak - obviously not quite as good as fillet but nice & great value. My wife usually gets turkey & ham or the salmon and loves them both. They have a couple of nice chicken mains too. They used to do a gorgeous chicken risotto starter which unfortunately disappeared when they changed the menu but the Caesar Salad is nice. The chicken wings are a bit hit & miss (some times beautifual, other times just ok) and the soups are usually very good. Great restaurant overall.

I visited here with 3 friends recently and was not very happy when leaving. I got the caesar to start which was just ok, I know salads can be bland but the dressing had no flavour whatsoever! I also had the Prawns for main, I was not happy to find that the intestinal vein had been left in which tasted a bit gritty, the rice that was served with it was beautiful but the garlic sauce that was poured over the whole lot was very salty. So you can understand why I was unhappy when having paid €25 for this dish of 12 prawns and I had left most of it behind. My friends on the other hand were happy with there choices but you can't go wrong with soup and burgers really!!! I have eaten here before and enjoyed it maybe it was just these dishes, lets just say I won't be in a hurry to go back.

3 of us went here on at Saturday nite, we were the first ones there but the place filled up fast. The waiters were very attentive, all our starters were very good, beef stir-fry and breaded mushrooms. The mains were a bit hit and miss. Me and my brother had the duck which was lovely although the sausage mash or whatever it was meant to be was not very nice. My mum had to send her steak back as she couldn't even chew it and she got the burger instead which she enjoyed. They gave us desserts on the house which will make us go back there. And the salt still had lumps in it.

This is a favourite location for our family meals. Excellent menu, staff, quality etc. Very family friendly too. We eat here every couple of months. Only downside is the stairs up to the place for anybody who is not very mobile.

I had dinner here with my boyfriend and another couple. The place was busy enough but we managed to get a table for Sat night and only rang at 6pm that evening. Three of us had starters, I had prawns which weren't really big enough and they were served with rice that wasn't mentioned on the menu, the dish didn't really impress me. The others had brie and a beef stir fry which they enjoyed and liked the portions of as they were quite big. The 2 guys got steaks with lots of extras included and they loved the pepper sauce as it had a serious kick, I had the duck which was crispy and delicious and another had sea bass which she really enjoyed. There was one bottle of wine on the bill, a couple of sparkling waters and some coffees and a drink. The bill came to €180 which I thought was very reasonable and we were all pretty happy. The service was faultless and the atmosphere friendly. Overall a pretty good, reasonable, wholesome place to eat.

Ate here with my girlfriend last week and had mixed reactions, I had the Cajun chicken which came with rice and chips, the Cajun sauce on the chicken was super, my girlfriend got the stir fry but couldn't eat it as she felt it was too hot and spicy, the menu made no reference to this fact in their description of the dish, I might go back if I'm passing my girlfriend definitely wont, stick to the carvery in The Morgue itself

My boyfriend and I had a meal there a week or so ago and we have nothing but good things to say. The food was gorgeous, the service was very good, and it was reasonably priced. We will definitely be going back!! And I would recommend the fudge cake for desert!!!

After eating in the Morgue carvery I had high hopes for their restaurant, unfortunately I left very disappointed. My boyfriend had the Cajun chicken, which he said was nice but was a very small portion. I had the stir fried vegetables and noodles, which sounded gorgeous but was all heat and spice when it arrived. All I could taste was the heat and there was absolutely no other flavours. I only managed a few spoon fulls then just ate my salad side order instead.

Dined with a colleague on Saturday 5th July. Arrived at 8.30 pm without a booking and offered a table within 3 minutes. So far so good. My friend ordered vegetable soup for starter followed by a 10oz fillet steak...well-done . I had the Irish brie and smoked salmon followed by Tournedos Rossini. Service was quite good although the restaurant was quite full and several parties 12 +. My friends vegetable soup was very good and his steak was cooked as required but it was quite small and in no way did it start out life as a 10oz steak. My starter was extremely disappointing as in 2 out of the three cheese parcels I could find no smoked salmon. This dish is poorly conceived and not to specification as being sourced outside. I was informed that it was prepared in the kitchen which is difficult to explain - not even a smidgeon of smoked salmon. The Tournedos steaks were very good. €4 for a small side dish of vegetables. I have noted that the prices on the menupages web-site are some 5% less than charged at the restaurant. In my view the mains are somewhat overpriced. Initial bill presented for the meal was €280 as other guests food had been added to the table in error - actual bill €110. Clearly nobody is reviewing the bills before being given to customers. On balance some good features but I would not return to this restaurant as overall it is poor value for money..

I recently ate here with my boyfriend and found it to be overall very tasty food at good value. We availed of the value menu which includes a generous three courses and a bottle of wine for the bargain price of 68euro. For starter I had the Cajun chicken risotto which was absolutely delicious, the only fault I could offer is that it was quite a big portion for an appetiser. For my main course I had the lamb shank which was cooked to the perfect tenderness. It was served on a pesto mash and this is the only item received that was not good. Dessert was the most delicious bread and butter pudding I've ever had and its great to see these old fashioned classics making a come back. I will definitely be returning for the simple elegance of the food and pleasant service I received at Reeves.

Myself and my girlfriend visited this restaurant last Saturday night and overall found it a very pleasant and positive experience. We entered around 8pm and were quickly shown to our seats by a helpful member of staff. Our order was taken fairly quickly after that. Our meal arrived in about 30 minutes. I had an excellent piece of fillet steak and my girlfriend had the risotto. Dessert then consisted of bread and butter pudding which was excellent. Overall very good and well worth a punt

I was here with a large group so we had a set menu. I had the potato with chili soup and it was delicious. There was no shortage of bread brought to the table. For main I had turkey and ham which was lovely but I was sorry I didn't go for the lamb as it was fab! The staff were very attentive even though they were very busy, and it was a great venue for a large group with children as there was plenty of room for them. The only thing was there wasn't much choice in the desserts, I ended up having a bowl of ice cream.

I have eaten on several occasions in this restaurant and I have never been disappointed with the food or the quality of service. The portions are particularly plentiful especially when you order the Sirloin or Fillet Steak for the main course (which I particularly recommend. Also, the staff are attentive and hospitable. The one bad point is that the layout of the restaurant could be better - the tables are very close together and this can be a bit of a problem if there are young children about and you wish to enjoy your meal in peace or if you wish to have a private discussion with someone at the dinner table.

We booked for a friday night here for my mum's birthday, 9 adults and 2 children. Whilst i cannot fault the food or the service, I wouldn't be in a hurry back. All the tables are too close together. Very difficult getting in and out of your chair. The heat was unbearable. This was a cold night in February but even so, it was unbearably warm. The staff were really nice and child friendly, bringing the children colouring books and crayons. However, it was obvious that some diners were not happy having children close to their table. However, this goes back again to the tables being too close together. You could hear conversations at the next table. Overall, great food and service but not somewhere I'd be going back to in a hurry.

Excellent Service, food and atmosphere. Went here a fews weeks ago with friend and I could not fault the place from the moment we walked in nothing was a problem we didn't pre-book and were surprised just how busy it was when we walked in but it was not a problem the manager said he would a a table in minute which he did the staff are lovely very friendly but not intrusive. I had prawns to start with they were really nice, and chicken for mains everything was cooked perfectly. I have since returned to the pub below which apparently comes fromt he same kitchen and I couldn't doubt it. Is now a regular spot.

I went here on Saturday evening with my girlf, and was in before 7 for the early bird. The service was excellent and very friendly. The food was brought to us very quickly. We both had Garlic mushrooms to start and they were 'savage'! Main course were also both great (fillet steak - very nice). Good wine list also. Bad points: the decor is a bit stagnant, they could afford to make more of an effort here. In addition the dessert menu was awful, hence they lost out on business there as we were willing to have some. Apart from that great value and great food (early bird).

I have to ditto the previous reviewer. This is a great spot to bring your country relatives or Mum and Dad who want good food at a good price. The portions are huge and you will not leave hungry. The wine list is extensive, disappointingly the deserts are terrible. Like most restaurants of this standard now a days I presume their deserts are shop bought as it isn’t worth the money to make your own...A good night had by all.

I booked a table for 7 adults and 2 kids on St Patrick’s Day. Our server was quite good but I felt we were let down a little by the service and by the kitchen. Most of the table had starters and in general they were ok but apart from the garlic prawns the others were all too sweet. The spring roll was on sweet noodles, the onions on the bruschetta were very sweet and the sauces with the smoked salmon and the pate were both sweet as well. Quite a long gap followed between courses and when our mains arrived I could tell straight away that my 10oz fillet rare was going to be over done and I was right. My steak was medium well and I felt I should get it changed and my brother who got the 2 5oz fillets had 1 rare and the other medium. It took a while for the steak to come back but when it did it was medium. As the rest of the table had nearly finished eating I kept it and in fairness it was a nice piece of beef; the rest of the table finished their main courses happily. Another gap followed between dessert and the table enjoyed desserts but 1 had the cheese plate and all the cheeses were stone cold and very plain. It would not cost a lot to do a good small selection of Irish cheese and miss out the brie, cashel blue and Port Salut. I would have to think very long about if I would return to Reeves as a bill of 360 euro seems a lot for the standard of food and service we received.

My fiancé & I popped in here last night for a meal. The service was very good & the food excellent! I had the Corcoran’s seafood chowder to start with & it was one of the best chowders I have had! Although it was very filling & I didn't finish it as I wouldn't have been able for my main course! My Fiancé had the soup & said it was really nice. For mains I had the fillet steak with garlic & cheese potatoes & sautéed onions & mushrooms - was really nice but way too much food! Only thing that I did think was that the garlic sauce on the potatoes was exactly the same as the garlic cream sauce I buy in the supermarket! My fiancé had the sirloin steak & again felt there was just too much food! We commented on this when we paid the bill & the waitress said 'yeh, you have to be hungry to come here!' Overall we really enjoyed the meal & will be back - only if we're really hungry though as I hated to see how much food we didn't eat!

Had a really nice evening out in Reeves with my family the night before New Years Eve. Service was great, good quality food and portions big enough to send you home with no room for dessert! Starters, the baby beef stir-fry in particular could have fed 2. Perhaps they should rethink this as a starter or at least the size as it leaves little room to enjoy the mains. Apart from that and the over seasoned Cajun chicken in the warm chicken salad, there’s great choice and value for a family night out and having the Morgue pub downstairs means you can enjoy a drink before and after.

Had dinner here last week as part of a group of 18. The food was nicely presented and I must say very nice especially the deep-fried Brie with smoked salmon! I would say the service on the night was a little slow, with quite a wait for vegetables etc after mains served resulting in some of the orders going a little cold. Staff helpful and friendly but there didn’t seem to be enough of them to manage the number of people dining there. Still a pleasant evening and would give it a go again.

Went here on a Sunday night for a birthday. Restaurant was nearly full and very loud but only because we were next to a group of about twenty (all excited women!!). Anyway, food was excellent! I had the baby beef stirfry for starters (huge...enough to share!) and garlic chicken for main with side of fresh market veg, really lovely! No one had a bad meal, but one of us got the duck spring "rolls" to start and it was one rather small roll, not rolls. I would recommend the garlic prawns they were divine! Will definitely be returning, value and service good.

Myself and 2 friends ate there last night. Not many in it (Tuesday) but atmosphere was relaxing. Our waitress did not have great English and it was a bit hard to understand what she was saying. However, we ordered drinks and received them with a lovely basket of bread. We were asked did we want more bread. I ordered duck spring rolls and they were delicious. My friends ordered the Brie, which was also lovely. For main course I ordered duck with a side order of mushrooms. Waitress said "no mushrooms". It was on the menu that I could order them. However, when my meal was served no mushrooms arrived but a dish of mash potatoes did which were NOT ordered. Mushrooms eventually arrived. The dinner portions are generous and food was well presented and hot. My friends ordered the steak and the Cajun chicken. Both delicious. All in all we had a very pleasant evening in Reeves. Food was gorgeous and for 3 drinks, 3 starters, 3 deserts, tea/coffee and a bottle of wine the bill came to Euro 147, which was ok. I would recommend Reeves and would definitely go back.

First visit. Very impressed with the service and atmosphere, very disappointed with food. My wife had chicken which was hard and I had a steak. This had no flavour; it seemed to have been cooked in an oven. I will go back as they accepted my complaint and gave us desserts on the house. I really liked the place, just get the food right.

The second visit to Reeves Templeogue matched the first evening out. The quality of ingredients were excellent and the cooking was to my taste, especially vegetables which were perfectly timed when presented with a very large fillet steak. A very pleasant return experience, and unlike some other reviews which compared their experience with pub food I found the service and quality meal, at a completely higher level and recommend a visit.

I have eaten here countless times as located close to home and I have never had a bad meal. The price is great for the amount you get - actually sometimes I think they serve you too much. The portions are huge by the time they give you all the extra veg etc.

We were unimpressed with the Food and Service of this restaurant. It was just average, what you would expect from normal pub grub. It is overly expensive and I would not recommend this restaurant even though it is convenient for me.

I ate in Reeves for the first time last week and was very impressed! Had the prawns in garlic to start which were beautiful, not rubbery like the ones you'd get in a Chinese, I ordered the tornados for my main course, medium, which was beautiful. My friend asked the waitress whether to get the chicken and mushroom dish or the sea bass, to which she replied the sea bass and it was perfect, on reading the other reviews I think that was a good suggestion! Will be back soon as the food was great and the service was fantastic!

Have eaten here twice in the last year, each time its expensive, and I mean in the sense that its expensive for what it is, the food is bland, the service only ok but the prices high. Would not rush back in a hurry. Plenty of more restaurants on here to try first.

Have eaten here twice & I wont go back!!! Had the chicken stir-fry the first time, which looked like a very watery soup & was bland!!!! The second time I had the chicken & mushroom pasta & was disgusting!!! It came out lumpy & congealed & I literally had to stir it to make it resemble a sauce!!! I barely ate any of it & wasn't even asked if it was ok or anything!!! Found it very hard to get the staffs attention!!! My friend ordered soup & they didn’t give her a spoon!!! We had to wave crazily at a waitress & FINALLY bordering on five minutes later she got a spoon!!! & They didn’t even offer to reheat or exchange the soup!! The only saving grace was the chicken liver pate, which I really enjoyed!!! But not enough to go back!!! This is a very expensive restaurant, which charges very high prices for non-impressive food & bad service, at best!!

Been here three times now and food is beautiful-both very well presented and very tasty. The restaurant overall has a great atmosphere...relaxed and just posh enough! Staff are very friendly and relaxed but extremely helpful-Rosie and Rachel especially. Very fast service too. Can't give enough praise to the early bird menu-sooo cheap I couldn't believe it and most of their early bird food is from the main menu. Would go here again and again and again and again!!

I've eaten here a couple of times and both times I loved it. The service was very good and the food was great. If you like seafood you would love the seafood chowder and the prawns and scallops served with rice. If you’re not a seafood lover they have a good menu choice. The staff were very helpful and friendly so overall I would definitely go back.

Appalling! Service was so bad...they would bring a bottle of wine to the table and forget to open it...side orders never arrived at all...lights were turned up full at around 11pm - to hurry us out! A restaurant where half bottles are less than half the cost of full bottles just has to be crap!

We went there last night. There was only a handful of people there but yet our dinners were very poor. My steak was tough and very greasy, and had some sort of oily crunchy mash (v bad). My gfriends chicken was too dry and v small {but did look v good}. Wouldn’t recommend it especially if that’s what its like on a quiet night.

I took 4 people to Reeves tonight and we all have likes/dislikes with food. Everyone had really delicious food, which was served to us promptly, and presentation on oval and square white plates looked like works of art. I will certainly return there and feel that it was very good value indeed. Fish on a Monday nights can often be problem but I had grilled Sea Bass, which was cooked to perfection and reminded me of eating fresh fish on holidays in the Algarve.

Ate here for the first time recently and really enjoyed it, there were four of us and we all had only good things to say about the food especially the scallops and prawns, the only 2 bad things I’ve heard about this place came separately from two vegetarian friends neither of whom eat fish and both felt there weren't enough options for them. Over all though this is a great place and the staff are very nice and helpful even when I changed my mind about what I wanted after I’d ordered.

Yeah its nice, just nice...the food is kind of boring, it is most of the time up to good standard though. If you are looking for nice food locally (if you're from the area) then yeah.... I wouldn't really book it for a Saturday night out, there are nicer places in Terenure.

Very very pleased with my experience of Reeves. Actually decided to come here having read other reviews of it, here! It is a lovely restaurant - the staff are professional and efficient and always smiling. The food is excellent - I really liked the homemade pate - delicious! All in all I'll be back here very soon.

I have been here on numerous occasions, and it is very reliable in terms of food and service. The staff are genuinely lovely, Rosie, Rachel and the rest of the members of staff are a credit to Reeves! The only negative thing I could say about Reeves is the menu could do with being expanded. But what they do, they do very well.

Soul food! I've been here several times and I just love it - cosy atmosphere, fantastic service and the menu has something for everyone. The portions are very generous and you'll leave with a warm glow. They also do a brilliant Sunday dinner where every dish on the menu is €15. Yum!

The food is always perfect at Reeves and you get lots of it. Service is friendly. You need to book early at the weekends, as they are always busy. Not bad on price for what you get. Overall an enjoyable and tasty night out.

I ate there on Saturday with party of 12. I would agree with all others comments about the service, very professional and friendly. As for the food, the prawns and scallops, which I ate, were 26 euro as far as I remember. They were ok, the sauce had Pernod, which was a bit too much, the fillet steak was also 26 euro, again dearer, than the menu here. Overall I don't think there was a bad dish all night, well cooked and served, even if they weren't too exciting. A bit pricey, mind you, but it is Dublin! PS get proper tumblers for whisky, not those cheap wine glasses from 20 yrs ago!

I have been there a few times and I have found it to be quite pleasant, staff are friendly and food is well overall ok! The menu is a bit bland but I still thoroughly enjoy gracing their doors only because the staff are nice and it is reasonably priced thinking back now I cant remember anything of the menu so that just goes to show.

I ate in Reeves last week as part of a large group and was really pleased with both the food and service. I had the Garlic prawns to start, (as recommended by other reviewers) and the lamb shank as my main course, both perfect. The waiters and waitresses knew exactly what everyone was eating and remembered our drinks orders. I didn't have a dessert as I was too full but they looked really tasty. I will definitely be back.

A group of us ate in Reeve's Restaurant last week and we couldn’t have been better fed or looked after. The staff were wonderful, very attentive and the food was excellent, especially Corcoran's Chowder. The Decor is really nice, relaxed and comfortable. All together a great night. Thank you.

I ate there last Saturday with 3 other people and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was very reasonable and very tasty. The staff couldn't do enough and our waitress Roseanne was very very helpful with the picking of the wines and remembered what each one of us had ordered. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and can't wait to go back.

I visited Reeves Restaurant in Templeogue last Saturday night as part of a large party, and was impressed with the efficient way they looked after us all, they knew who ordered each dish and served everyone at the same time. The food was very nice and good value for money, and we were well cared for. A satisfied customer.

Vegetable soup has an overbearing tomato flavour, but the Chicken Conor for amin was excellent. I skipped desert but they looked good. Very reasonably priced.

Lovely spring roll to start, followed by chicken with garlic butter as main course, pity when it came to ordering a banana & chocolate crepe for dessert, the waitress came out and told us there was only one left, as two of us at the table had ordered crepes, I opted for the apple pie instead. Obviously the crepes weren't freshly made as all the chef would have had to do was mix up some more batter... In the end the apple pie looked liked the wiser choice as the banana in the crepe was rotten and the chocolate was a chocolate sauce that you would poor over ice-cream, I was expecting Nutella or something similar!!!
