Popped in today for lunch, first time there and loved it. Really liked the quirky decor and am looking forward to going back one evening for a drink at the revolving bar :) Found the service at the bar and the from the lounge girls good. Didn't think the chef on the carvery was the friendliest - a bit abrupt & a smile wouldn't have gone amiss...but we enjoyed the salmon & veggies we had. Good selection of wines available from various regions, and the cocktail list seemed to also offer a reasonable variety. I loved the touch of serving the quarter bottle of wine in a mini ice-bucket!

hadnt been to the lep in for a while so decided to pop in on sunday last and i have to say i dont know where all the friendly and helpful staff mentioned in some of the reviews were on our visit !!! there were plenty of staff but none keen to help you unless you were what i consider " local ", we were waiting ages for food and while eating had to attract with great difficulty a waitress to get another drink, no one asked us was everything ok and we were blatently ignored when we tried to get the bill so i had to go to the bar to get it but 2 men sitting near us that were obviously known to staff had drinks before they even asked for them, food quite good but very put off by terrible service, lots of young staff wandering around and chatting to each other at the bar, wont be back again.

I visited here for a relaxing afternoon chat and cuppa with a friend and it was a great experience. The atmosphere is so relaxed and the decor is fun and interesting. It's lovely having such large windows all around - it makes the outer area very bright. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They went the extra mile... Our waitress brought complimentary mince pies with our drinks which was such a lovely touch and showed me that the Lep Inn is a place that really cares about their customers' experiences. It's one of the nicest pubs I've been in for a long time. I definitely plan to go back.

Myself and my husband said we would try the Lep inn for a bite to eat last thurs,we got the luas and it was a 7 min walk from the stop. Walking into the pub is like walking into another world, there is a river flowing as you walk in, a conservatory area on your left, straight ahead is an area like your sitting room, with a fire and comfy looking sitting. The carousel bar, although not my cup of tea, is marvelous looking and i can see how it attracts the crowds on fri and sat nights. We decided to sit at the bar to get a feel for the bar staff.Firstly we were attended to straight away by a 26-27 year old.He was quick to show us the menus including specials and my husband enjoyed the banter about how good the guinness is. I had a 1/4 bottle of red wine and he had his pint. We both went for the 'Daube of Beef' which was on the specials(we didnt know what this was until our barman explained it to us). Whilst waiting for our dinner we got chatting to the barman who explained that it is usually busier on a thurs-we thought it was busy as it was!Our food took about 20 mins, worth the wait, the beef was extremly tasty and the mash potato complementated the beef, along with the chips and side salad it was a feast. I loved the dressing but my husband didnt like it.Barman checked twice to make sure we were happy. For dessert we shared a banoffi and i had a baileys coffee which was made perfectly, came in a wine glass and was topped with cream and chocolate. The banoffi was also beautiful, very fresh!! Top class service from start to finish, all in all brilliant experience. Will return!

We popped in here on Saturday night for some pub grub and to watch the match It was fairly busy and most of the tables around us were eating. The waitress was very nice but was a little out of her depth. She got incredibly flustered when we asked about specials etc. The food was really tasty. Two of us had the lamb special which was really nice, could have been a little more tender but was great value for money. The others had an omelette which was really substantial and very light and fluffy. The food was great value for money and the atmoshere was great. We will no doubt be returning

We visit the Lep Inn regularly and its hard to beat it. Food and service is always good. We usually just go for carvery - there is always a great choice and plenty of it. The bar is stylish and trendy - with a lovely mix of ages. Music is perfect and there is always a great buzz.

Went here with a group of friends for evening bar food on a Wet Thursday evening. Interior very nice and comfortable and had to have a look at the famous revolving bar as well. Unfortunately the food offer is dreadful though and very over priced. Between us we had a Beef Burger, Chicken on Foccacia and Pasta Disk of Penne Arbiatta. Nobody was happy with their main courses and desserts were even worse. Selection of three scoops of ice cream came squashed into a tiny metallic bowel! Definitely a good place for few pints but skip the food here.

This pub is quite unique in that the interior is so nice and the surrounding quite plush..not always typical of your local dublin pub! I have been here on several occasions. I have been for sunday Carvery which was ok but veg overcooked and lacking real flavour also prices on the dear side. The soup I had was really nice though but the bread served with it really let it down as it was not fresh at all. I would prob recommend this place more for a drink and some snacks such as chips etc rather than a going out for dinner meal.

Tried the sunday carvery as I had heard so much about it. While the portion size was fine and the food tasted delicious I noticed that the price of a main course increased by €2 on a sunday. On a plus side they give half portions to anyone that wants them which is good rather than have food left on a plate. Pleasant staff and atmosphere, maybe look at the sunday prices or do some special offers to bring in more customers, give it a try.

Went here for a quick bite to eat, and it was worth the trip. Would recommend ANY of the specials on any given day - never let me down, or fish and chips, or the steak sandwich. Yum! Really good quality pub grub with fast service. Probably the best pub grub in the area.

my first time in here last night....had seen some great reviews for the place on menupages so thought it was about time i checked it out....i was very impressed...gorgeous bar! even though it was only a wednesday there was a great buzz about the place. the service was brilliant...staff very attentive. myself and my friend originally just came for drinks....we had the nicest piniot grigio i've ever tasted...just divine! ended up getting a bite to eat too...we just got a starters as we weren't overly hungry...we both went for the fishcakes...yummy! i will definitely be back for drinks and a proper meal!

I ate here with my family on a Friday night. My overall experience was OK! Food was great, really really nice but it was so hot and stuffy in place. I know it was a Friday evening (approx 6pm) so it’s bound to be busy but there were no windows or air con, we couldn’t wait to leave for fresh air which was a shame. Table service was great, all the lounge staff were really helpful. I had the burger with egg and bacon with chips and a side of pepper sauce. It was really delicious. My partents both had burgers also and my brother had the streak which he loved. Food is a little pricy for pub grub, I think the burgers were around €16 each (I didn’t pay!) which is a bit much. To round it up it worth popping in for some food if you’re in the area and it’s payday!!

The lunchmenu is excellent value hence the lunchitime trade is good. However, the evneing meals do not equate to much and are overpriced for what you get. Service is good and staff are pleasant. Despite disappointing evening menu, the surroudings are pleasant enough to want to stay on.

I can't fault the owners on the look of the pub, it looks great since its been refurbished, very classy. I was not however happy with the food, found it average and quite expensive for what you get. Would come back for a few after work drinks but wouldn't have food again.

This has to be one of the best places for a generous, hearty and delicious lunch (in huge dinner sizes). There's very little you can fault the Leopardstown Inn with. Well organized crew. Piping hot food. Best Lasagne in the country. fabulous veg, garlic potatoes to die for. What would I criticise? Very little.. maybe the decor is a little odd. It's a mish-mash of various themes that doesn't really gel, but it's a high standard of decor and cleanliness so I can live with it. When you visit.. bring your appetite.

Enjoyed a family meal here for the first time recently. Great atmosphere but we were unfortunately squeezed into a tight spot (although we were grateful to be accommodated). Excellent service with attentive, friendly staff. Good menu with lots of choice, and everyone happy with their meal. Looking forward to next visit. It's my first choice for pub grub now!

Very much the standard pub grub menu, but expensive. I wouldnt rate it above Average. Its an unusual pub that draws you back but I'd expect the food to be better quality for the prices charged or at least better value. The lighting in the place is poor making reading the menu difficult. The steak and chips which both of us has was tough and uninspiring. The service was fine, the food prices over the top for a pub!

My wife and I had a late lunch here. The food was very good and the atmosphere pleasant. Unfortunately we were left waiting for almost 45 minutes from ordering to our food arriving. We drew this to our waitress's attention and we were told the kitchen was busy. As the bar was not even half full, I think our order was forgotten. If they sort out the kitchen it will be a good place to dine.

went for lunch with my brother and dad. had very nice food, service could be better as they made a mistake with the order. Very pleased with the overall results, the desserts are very nice. Staff are friendly and the value of the food could be a bit cheaper. Would go back if I was in the area again. Jeanseb Dublin

Ate here before Christmas, despite being local I had previously only ever had a drink here. The bar menu is more than adequate and there is a nice selection available. I opted for the one of the specials, it was a veggie ciabatta with brie and roasted vegetables, and it was really good. The other half went for the burger, no great shock there, and he was equally as satisfied with his meal. It was a cold night before Christmas, and the atmosphere was warm and very seasonal, it made for a lovely evening. The girls that served us were great, efficient but not too obvious, if I had any complaint it would be the ‘heavies’ hurrying you up at the end of the night. I know it is a drinking establishment primarily, but they do seem to be a little on the gruff side, and not really in keeping with the ambience of the place.

Dined here on a Friday evening and ordered the steak, was fine for a pub and came with good sized side order. Place was busy and good atmosphere. The prices are expensive especially the drinks. The smoked salmon atarter is gorgeous and would be plenty for two or three to share.

Average pub grub at best. The menu is in desperate need of an update in choices and a reduction in prices. The carvery is pretty good and would be my choice on a match day. Having said that, I do enjoy my occasional meal in The Lep. The atmosphere is great and the floor staff are very friendly and up for a laugh. I don't frequent the pub as often since the renovation for two reasons: 1. The price of a pint is exorbitant - probably to pay for the revolving bar! 2. The interior is a bit tacky and crass, with too many themes running throughout the premises. Overall, a good pub.

Visited the bar for sunday lunch and was very surprised to find that the price for the sunday carvery had increased again to €14.95, very bad value considering how many restuarants are trying to encourage customers in with special offers etc. The food was tasty but overall very bad value for money and for this reason I would not recommend to visit.

Went here for a late lunch last Saturday with a friend - my first time being here. I was very happy with food, it was delicious. I had Cod in white wine sauce with baby potatoes, salad on the side, my friend a salmon dish with tomatoe sauce and pesto. Priced each at €14.95 which I thought was great value. The service wasn't great - the waitresses weren't very friendly at all, which is a pity. Atmosphere was ok - not sure what it would be like in the evening - I wouldn't be running back for the atmosphere.

Eat here quite a bit due to convenience. The food is always good, no complaints, but they really need to change the menu. Now opting for other pubs for dinner in the locality as more selection – there are no chicken dishes on the menu apart from tenders, and they do not do steak sandwiches or anything either. Would use a lot more if there was a more varied menu.

I eat at the Lep quite regularly and I find it is consistently good food. It can be on the expensive side and I find the menu could be bigger, but I have eaten here for dinner and in the carvery and have always enjoyed my food. Best thing is the chicken goujons or the cod and the chips are those fantastic ones where they leave the potato skin on - fairly hard to find in Dublin for some reason!

I met a friend here for dinner yesterday evening arrived at 6pm & got a seat no problem as I have heard it gets busy most evenings. The waitress was very nice, we had our drinks within 5 mins of sitting down & our food order was taken within 10 minutes. I got the peppered prime beef burger & my friend got the onion burger & chips - they were both pretty big portions & very tasty. We shared a strawberry cheesecake for dessert & then had coffee after that. In total it came to €43 which I thought was good value. Can't complain about the service or quality of food as I fouond them both great! The menu in the pub is slightly different to whats here - slightly more of a selection!!!

Had dinner in Leopardstown inn last night, starters(patte and brie) were nice and lovely portion, main meals consisted of a medium/well fillet steak and the chicken special. Fillet came out a little undercooked so asked a gentleman could i get it cooked a little more..... well the look he gave me! made me feel as if i was putting him out of his way! he starred at the steak at me and again at the steak walked into the kitchen with it. In fairness to the lovely girl serving us she apologized, i didn't mind it was not her fault but the attitude of the so called manager was sickening! When leaving the pub again a very blunt "good night" said by the manager. i won't be back to be treated like that-especially when i spent over €60

Met a friend for the carvery lunch here yesterday. We both had the roast pork, which was delicious. Plenty of meat, lovely garlic and cheese potatoes, apple sauce and gravy. Their roast potatoes were a bit disappointing. My friend sent hers back to be reheated but mine was fine. It's busy at lunch time and it would be hard to have a private conversation - an old near us seemed to be enjoying ours!!!! We were too full for desserts and had cappuccinos instead - they were lovely and the service was very good.

Went for bite to eat here recently. Had read reviews in the paper about it which prompted us to give it a go. Was disappointed. Pate for starter was ok, deep fried mushrooms were miserable, tiny and very greasy. Both had sirloin steak for mains. They were over cooked though we requested medium and were accompanied by average chips and a pepper sauce that tasted like soup! €75 for 2 minerals, 2 mains and 2 starters that were below average is not acceptable and wont be going back.

This place is good for an after work bite to eat and a drink. It is always busy and lively. The staff there are very friendly and efficient. Not a foodies paradise but the menu works well for the clientele they want to attract.

Sat in the new part of the Lep Inn, the champagne/cocktail revolving bar part. This new addition to the pub is great the theme is African jungle, the waitresses were all lovely really friendly, food was superb, would highly recommend the fillet steak! Great for a quick bite to eat or a night out on cocktails

The Lep Inn has always been a bit dark and dingy for my liking, particularly for lunch. It’s just been done up and looks a little cleaner, although the main pub part isn’t any brighter. I ate lunch there last week and had the carvery which is pretty good value. The food is unexceptional, but fine and the portions are generous. The service was good, but the atmosphere was a little claustrophobic, and the place still feels dark and cluttered. Oh, and the parking at lunchtime was horrendous!

Tried the Lep Inn for the first time since the renovations and initial impression was fantastic. The decor is great and there was a bit of a buzz. Unfortunatly although the food was ok and the staff were very friendly, the service was very slow. Overall I was left a bit dissapointed and given the choice of excellent pub grub type venues in the area I wont be rushing back.

Always eating here, sometimes service is excellent and other times you are ignored for ages. Its very touch and go and I find that you have to attract attention to yourself to get quickly served. However the food is always good. Since the re-vamp its lovely inside. The rotating bar is a nice novelty! The daily specials are always great! Prices are not bad either and its a bit above your average pub-grub!

As pub grub goes you get what you expect , the menu doesn’t change that often but thankfully the standards remain high. Goods sized portions, clean establishment and friendly staff. Very busy location for lunch with parking and tables disappearing fast (get there early) Pleasant surroundings that work equally as wall be it a large lunch or just a sandwich and coffee you're after. Lay-out is good allowing quite conversations when needed.

I brought 2 business people in here today and had lunch in the bar and at first i thought they didn't do lunch by the size of the small carvery but we all had the beef and, wow, was it tasty. I would have preferred it a little more rare but understand that in a pub you can't really do that but my 2 associates commented highly on the quality of their dinner (beef as well) and I clinched a good deal for my own company in the relaxed atmosphere. Well done chef and I hope to return soon. Oh, and the coffee is good as well.

The service was very slow although the girl who served us was very nice. However the same can not be said for the food. It is absolutely appalling. I am vegetarian and the options on the menu were an omelette or pasta with tomato sauce. The omelette has been on the menu for about 15 years. There is just no imagination. I eventually orderd the deep fried brie. This was not real brie but some cheese pretending to be brie. It was exactly like the pre-breaded stuff you would buy in a supermarket. The chips weren't cooked properly and we had sent them back and the replacement weren't much better. The pub itself is nice, but stick to the drink and give the food a miss.

A good local - probably not worth going out of your way to come here though. The menu has a decent selection of the usual suspects reasonably priced. I've always found the service and atmosphere to be good.

I have eaten here both in the lounge and in the restaurant upstairs. The bar food menu has lots of options and I would say that the standard of food is actually really good, easily better than similar places. The service is always attentive and friendly. The restaurant menu is very good and the food is exceptional -I have eaten there 3 times and found the food delicious, exceptional and the prices are surprising for what you get. The early bird is a great deal too.

Eat here for lunch sometimes, and its just ok. There are a quite a few options such as salmon, chicken and carvery and the portions are generous. Not the best carvery or pub grub in town

Went for a bit of food here the other day, wasn't impressed. Very standard pub food with not much care or attention involved. M'eh.
