3.5I have eaten in the Leopardstown Inn a few times before and always liked their good menu and food, so when my parents, husband and I went in recently for Sunday lunch we were disappointed to see that carvery was the only option. Fortunately we were able to take a table in Greens restaurant upstairs though. We were shown to a lovely table in an alcove that was very cosy and private. The set menu was huge, about 8-10 choices of starters and mains and 4 or 5 desserts. For three courses I think it was only about €25pp. Mum had a crab salad to start which she loved, dad and I had the garlic mushrooms which were nice, just too large a portion and not enough garlic sauce. My husband had a starter that was 3 mini dishes and he didn't like one which was a bloody mary jelly. For mains mums battered fish and chips looked the best, Dad and I had a herb crusted fillet of hake with gnocci which was disappointing as the hake was overcooked. My husband had the beef burger which looked good and came with what must be the worlds biggest wedges! Can't comment on dessert as we didn't have any as we had been out to eat the night before too! Service is ok, its slow and the restaurant wasn't very full so I would have expected less of a gap between courses. Its ok, but I prefer the food downstairs in the bar.

3.5I have been here a few times. Can be lucky and unluckey with tables, some are too close. Food is good, can be pricey. Atmosphere is nice and restaurant is sectioned off to some degree, so it never feels overly packed and noisy.

5.0I am a bit of a regular here and I am always surprised by the change of menu, each one being as good as the next.
When you arrive you are met with a smile and seated while the offer of breads, etc. are set down. The menu is excellent with fish, meat and poultry dishes all offered in an appealing fashion. Your only problem here is what to have, choices all sound wonderful. One of my favourite started is their potted salmon - presentation and taste memorable........
Another aspect of this restaurant is the atmosphere (quite like being in a Spainish Restaurant) and the cockery is amaxing, different designs on plates - best of all restaurant I have posted reviews of recently.
The service is excellent and the food has never failed to impress which is why anytime I bring new friends they do return themselves at a later date. This is a real sake place to bring people if you are unsure of what they as there is plenty of choice.

5.0Tried the early bird menu here which was fantastic value and had loads of choice. The food was delicious, the service was also very good. The restaurant has very funky decor and a great athmosphere. Even though we were there before 7 we were very lucky to get the last table as we had not booked. Will deinitely be going back here.

5.0Ate here last night with 2 friends and was very impressed, the food was really good, i had the fish of the day which was cod on a really nice mash with veg on side while both my friends had turkey and ham which they really enjoyed, service was good too and not too long to wait which i was surprised at as there was a christmas party going on while we were there, only small gripe is i feel €25 is little expensive for 2 course-starter and main or main and desert but otherwise great service food and setting.

5.0Greens always delivers with atmosphere, food, service and value. My husband myself and 2 teenagers had dinner from earlybird menu, which is 21 euro pp. It was a Wednesday night and still very busy which must be good sign. We skipped dessert as I thought an extra 7.50 was a little expensive. We really enjoyed the night.

5.0Decided to give this place a go based on raving reviews from friends and family, and i have to say, i really loved it. It's such a quaint little place. We decided to go with the early bird menu. My boyfriend had the butterly prawns and I had the chicken liver pate. For mains we both had the chefs special pork. Every course was more delicious than the previous. I am definately going back here for the next occasion I can think up! :)

5.0This was our second visit to Greens and we wondered if it would live up to our expectations from our previous visit. We weren’t disappointed. I love the style of the place although like the last time it was a little quiet, but there was still a nice atmosphere. The staff were excellent, very professional and welcoming. We went for the 4 course Sunday Lunch menu which offers great value at just €25. Food presentation was excellent and portion sizes were just right. We had a very enjoyable meal and are looking forward to our next visit.

5.0We had a girl’s night out here on Friday, I can’t recommend this restaurant enough it is perfect for girl’s night, or a nice cosy meal for two. They have an offer on at the moment which includes all night on Friday 21 Euro for two courses including tea or coffee. The girls loved what they had to eat the menu is excellent the food is fresh and tasty and the staff very friendly. Try it and see for yourself.

5.0Myself and my boyfriend eat here quite often, the food is always great and the staff are nice especially the main male waiter, he always has a smile on his face which is always nice to see in a restaurant. We came here to have the early bird which is great value at €21 for starter and main course or dessert and main course with Tea or coffee. I had the chefs starter which was crab in ravioli and my boyfriend had the parsnip which was very tasty. For main course I could not decide between the minute steak or the chicken but in the end I went for the chicken and it was lovely, it came with a choice of potato so I asked for mash. My boyfriend got the chefs main course which was cod and he was very happy with it. We didn't get dessert and we actually think the dessert prices are very expensive at €7.50, I would like to see them bring down the dessert prices as we would like to try some of the desserts they have on the menu. All in all though we really enjoyed our meal and will certainly return as the early bird is great value.
