Always enjoy Eddies rockets, food is always hot and tasty, this Eddie Rockets is always really clean also which is great. Only problem, one of the waitresses can be quiet unfriendly, I once asked for grilled instead of breaded chicken in the sweet chilli wrap, she told me this couldn't be done, when I asked why, as the fajita wrap has grilled chicken, she stared at me for ages and sighed really loudly then wrote down the order and stormed off, another time i asked for pickles on my footlong which earned me another dirty look and a charge of 1.50! Doesn't take away from the delicious burgers too much though, try the smokestack..it's amazing!

Lovely dinner here for the cinema yesterday! Had the cheese fries (heaven) and the chicken tenders, delicious as ever!!! My boyfriend had the cheese and bacon fries with a classic burger with swiss. We were served quickly, even though it was very busy. Love Eddies so I do

Not my usual choice in food, but met a couple of mates for a late lunch and absolutely no other restaurant was open. Have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I went for the Tuna sambo, with chips (naturally- when in Rome!!) and all were quite nice - I enjoyed it!! My brownie was a little disappointing, very 'doughie' but the chocolate sauce was fine. Service was very pleasant and very friendly. Overall I enjoyed it - despite myself!! One complaint - it really was cold, I know it was a cold day but we had to leave our coats on for our full stay.

I eat here regularly as I live nearby. The food is always piping hot and well cooked and the staff are quite friendly, regardless of your sobriety. They can be slightly understaffed sometimes as only one waitress works most weeknights and struggles to cope if it gets in anyway busy. Also, if you happen to arrive near midnight, be sure to let the waitress know if are ordering your food before 12 o'clock otherwise you might find yourself paying the post-midnight order surcharge.

It's a fairly typical Eddie Rockets. They do takeout here so I would say get your food and head off to eat it in the comfort of your own home, if possible. The problem with this is the fact that their fries with toppings are what drunken meals are made of. Though I no longer eat meat, I loved the chilli fries when I was younger. Everyone should get them. I am a big Eddie Rockets fan, it's fast food minus the guilt and I like the huge portions.

Love the burgers and chicken tenders. Its pricey for chips n'whatever your having but worth it as the burgers are real meat patties. We bought two meals on a deal which seemed very good value. When we settled bill we saw that we had paid for a milkshake which was supposed to be included in this deal. When we pointed this out the waiter acknowledged this but said that he could not give us credit - and we didn't make an issue out of it when the manageress passed and threatened to take the error out of the guys wages - bad image doing this infront of the public - and what was her issue seeing as we actually overpaid. Ended up getting take out coffee to the value of milkshake.

Cant say ive ever seen much of a difference in any of the Eddie Rockets around town and rathmines in no different you get exactly what you order and although i think most people agree its highly overpriced we still buy it for the love of the cheese fries. If Eddies were cheaper we d eat there every week but because its not its a nice treat every once in a while although i recommend the one on Dame Street as the people are friendly and service is good too!!!

I like Eddie Rockets' food. Good burgers, good fries, and I really like those chocolate malt milkshakes. Pretty pricey though.

Eddie rockets food is of course uniform at all their branches but Rathmines staff are always friendly and efficient, which is why I like it. Portions are always massive at Eddies and we have never had a bad burger or malt there so nothing to complain about-well except the prices are maybe a little high!

I go to Eddie Rockets for their Malts & Milkshakes yum. So creamy & moreish. Staff are always super friendly & efficient. Good atmosphere & every Eddie Rockets I've ever been in seems to be full. Food is just ok thought €7.00 for a burger without chips, I think is quite expensive. Especially when they are not home-made proper "chips". Enough of my whining about the food, it's def comfort food at it's best. Go for the malts if nothing else.

Well, everyone already knows what Eddie Rockets is like - nachos, chicken wings, burgers and milkshakes. It's a shame it's not a little cheaper as other places are now offering better versions of the same food for similar prices. The good thing is it's very comfortable, the staff are nice and you can always get a seat there. Fine little diner, a little overpriced but good for a big fat burger fix.

The place to go when you're looking for comfort food. The burgers are great, but my favourite is the Nachos Grande with chili. Hugely calorific, but hey - sometimes it has to be done. The waiting staff are so nice, really attentive and smiles all round. Well done Eddie!!

I've called in here a few times and it’s the comfortable seating I like the most. The food isn't bad, when served hot. I visited in the evening time last week and was served promptly. I could hear another customer complaining about the cold food but thankfully mine was fine. My g/f loves the veggie burger, but couldn't pick a favorite myself. All in all it’s not a bad place for average food.

I always wind up here at 4am on the weekends for a malt and some southern fried chicken tenders. The food a bit overpriced, to be honest, and not amazing, but greasy enough to give you the oily fix you want after a night out. The seats are cushy and they don't seem to kick you out, no matter if you only order a side of fries, great for cold rainy nights of blistered feet. However, my boyfriend cannot eat there without feeling nauseous.

The difference in this place at 2pm and 2am is astounding. The food should be of the same quality at night as it is during the day. I have eaten here and in other outlets during the day and have been quiet happy with the quality of food (the veggie burger in particular) but at night it changes to cold slop. The bill is the same so the food should be too. Go during the day!

The food is of generic fast food quality and the atmosphere is non-existent due to florescent lighting. On the upside, night security and staff are reasonably good-natured considering the amount of drunken goons they deal with on a nightly basis. I find the Eddies chain in general over-priced, but it is a good last resort and the Rathmines branch is conveniently located.

tbh I just don't get the fuss about this place. Okay I can see where they're going with the diner look and it's cool for the first twenty minutes, until you get your food that is. My burger didn't taste fresh and was smothered in sauce. The chips were a slight saving grace though. Verdict: don't bother.

The beauty of Eddie's is that its open and still serving digestible food at three am! In the food between 12-3am brackets Eddie's is the best place by a long long long shot especially compared with the filth churned out by other fast food places. Large portion sizes but it is true the burgers are fairly average. The nighttime security are fairly good natured too tolerating any number of spills and raucous behaviour.
