5.0Myself and my girlfriend ate here using one of those deal vouchers. The food was excellent - one of the best Indians i've had in Dublin. All ingredients were fresh. Easy to see the chef takes pride in his work. Waitress was very attentiv alsoe. Although its little outside the city centre (Rathfarnham), its definitely worth the trip. Parking is also plentiful and free of charge. Will go back and definitely recommend to others. Ten outta ten BD Spice!!!

4.0I had a voucher for a slap up meal for two at BD Spice and made a booking for last Friday. When I got there I was told we could order anything off the a la carte menu to the value of €60. This was a nice surprise as I usually order off set menus when I go out to save money. It was lovely to have the extra choice. We got the chicken tandoori starter platter between us and it was just lovely. Poppodums and dips came as standard. Decided to go for lamb balti and pilau rice with garlic naan. Tiramasu for dessert. Lovely food and very nice service. Rathfarnam is a bit out of the way for me to come back, but this trip was worth the effort. Recommended,

5.0Went to BD Spice for birthday celebration on Saturday evening. Seven adults and one young baby. Had a wonderful time. Food was delicious. Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent value. Will definitely be back. Most tables occupied which was great to see and atmosphere good.

4.0We had a table booked for 6 on a Sunday evening and although the car park of the Eden Pub downstairs was busy, we were the only two in the restaurant. I started with chicken shashlik, which was suspiciously like chicken tandoori, though tasty all the same. My partner had the vegetable pakora which was OK. For mains we had a chicken chili masala and a chicken karai with pilau rice. Both dishes were distinctly different, well spiced with plenty of heat and tasy. The only disappointment was the chicken which was over cooked and dry. Dessert was a quite good chocolate fudge cake of the frozen variety. We were on a coupon deal that offered the 3 course meal and a glass of wine each for €30 for the two of us, which was terrific value. I'm not sure I would have been so happy had we paid full price given the way the chicken was cooked. I should mention that the service was excellent and the waiter did ask how we found the food and promised to relay our comments back to the kitchen. Would like to go back and give them a second chance to show me that they can cook chicken properly.

5.0We arrived as a party of 10 just after nine pm. Only four other diners in the restaurant and so not a great atmosphere. The service was fantastic and the food was some of the best Indian food I have had in Dublin. Everybody really enjoyed the meal and the bill came to €55 each including tip and many bottles of wine. Highly recommend and cant wait to go back.

3.0We booked here along with some friends for a pre Christmas night out. We were so disappointed when we arrived to discover that there were only 6 other people in the restaurant on a Friday night. The food was lovely & the service excellent. The place lacks atmosphere & I think we would be reluctant to return.

4.5We ordered a take away from this restaurant last weekend. A korma dish two vegetarian meals and a lamb rogan josh with rice and naan breads. In general the food was good, very tasty and with freshly prepared vegetables, many take aways seem to use the pre prepared variety these days. The korma was lacking in flavour and one of the vegetarian dishes was ordered 'without cream' but came with plenty of cream in it. It was reasonable value at €53.

5.0Great quality and choice of food, lovely staff and fantastic view out the window!
My neighbours and I last went to BD Spice during the snow and the experience was well worth daring the elements.
We each chose different dishes and shared around. Unanimous agreement that just about everything on the menu is worth a go after a number of visits to BD Spice.

5.0A friend and I were looking for some comfort food on a cold Sunday evening. We had heard great things about BD Spice so we headed over and got a lovely table for 2 over looking the city. I am not a huge fan of Indian food but this restaurant changed my opinion. Excellent flavours and service. Will be going back asap for their brilliant offers.
