We eat here very regularly. It's a nice pub with a pleasant atmosphere, and the food is just fantastic!! Genuinely better food than many restaurants I've eaten in. Extremely good value and it's very difficult to find a fault with this place!

McCormacks is a great pub for atmosphere, comfort and food. We often drop in for a casual evening meal. The service is welcoming, fast and efficient and friendly. This time, we both had steaks, which came exactly as ordered i.e. one medium to well and the other well-done. The sides are very generous - baked potatoes in both our cases were large, properly cooked and served with plenty of butter on the side! The "garnish" of salad was large with the steaks and our extra order of side-salad was actually more than we could eat! The seating in the conservatory area is very comfortable, with couches and easily accessible tables. Only gripe would be the steps down to the conservatory are dimly-lit and could be a bit dangerous for elderly people or someone not too steady on the legs!

5 of us met here for dinner and you could not fault the food as usual. 2 of us had burgers and i had chicken fillet burger which was lovely. my sister had chicken salad another friend had guiness and beef pie. we had great inexpensive food with great service and every one cleared their plates. i go here often and could not fault the food and manager often comes over to us to exchange pleasantries. we go here about twice a month and the food is always consistently good.the only complaint i would have is the toilets are never that clean.

Got garlic and cheese potatoes...swimming in oil!!! brought the plate back to the waitress and she offered to heat it back up. I declinded and just asked for chips...was still charged for the potatoes, which I couldn't eat! The chips were cold and hard...not impressed!

Now, some people aren’t fans of pub grub. To some, it conjures up childhood memories of barely warm, tiny shrivelled sausages. To others, food in a pub means a packet of Tayto, possibly Bacon Fries for he truly adventurous. The food in McCormack’s could not be more different from this. Ample portions are served in a pleasant and warm setting, with beautiful mosaics and conservatory-style windows in some areas, comfy couches and tables in nooks and crannys, and of course the shiny mahogony bar. A menu includes all the Irish favourites, carvery, various meaty sandwiches, but mcCormack’s also offers Veggie options and an array of pasta. Straddles the night-in and the night-out category comfortably, and has areas with and without big screens for the sporting lovers and loathers out there. A local gem.

McCormacks is a quiet pub that centers around it's great value but full of taste food. Main courses average out at approx €13 but they are well worth the money. My favourite dish is their cajun chicken which is served on garlic ciabatta with a small side salad and your choice of chips, baked potatoe or side salad. Most of their mains are fantastic - basic dishes but really well done. We tend to go here at least once a month as it is nice to relax and have a glass of wine with your dinner - excellent place

The best cheese and garlic potatoes in the world. Good food, reasonably priced - you have to nudge the waiting staff for the specials so make sure you do especailly if you like fish. Good service though once you get your order in.

Saturday, lunch, the warm bacon salad with a pint of Guinness would be my dying "last supper". Great place if you like your sports, lots of space and parking. They could try a few meal deals with drinks.

Just like your average pub on the inside and the food is really fresh and well presented like a restaurant should have. It did take a while for us to get a simple chicken tenders and cod goujons, but when we did get them they were well tasty. The only thing i would suggest is not to get the side salad. It tasted like it was in the fridge all day pre-made and than just topped with dressing. Not great. But the menu is vast and has good options so there is pleanty of ability to avoid ordering it. Cheese and garlic potatoes are amazing too. I would definately go back to try more. x

Often visit McCormacks for food and have convinced many people to tag along with me. Their menu is great no matter how hungry i am there's always something to choose from. My only complaint is sometimes getting staff attention is impossible.

I go here regularly for a quick bite to eat. The menu is great, there is lots to choose from and the food is always very tasty. The portions are huge so you always leave satisfied. The burger is delicious and very filling, the onion rings are also a hit. Another recommendation is the chicken tenders, they are the best I have had in a long time and come with very generous portions of garlic dip and a spicy, creamy dip. This place serves top notch pub grub and is the best in the local area!

Was in this pub last night for food after work, the garlic potatoes are to die for! We had vegetarian ciabatta, which I suspect came from a packet as was a bit soggy but the garlic potatoes were fab. My partner had the chicken salad, which was very good. Would highly recommend it for a quick bite and at €25 for 2 meals and 2 soft drinks you cant go wrong.

Live quite close to McCormacks and it is exactly what it says on the tin, good pub grub. Portions are very generous and the conservatory at the back is lovely to sit in on a warm day. They also do a lovely pint of Guinness to help you wash down your meal.
