Bistro Spice 2.5 star review: Disappointing....I love Bistro Spice I eat there regularly I invited some of my friends out for dinner they had never eaten there before and I had told them great things. We arrived for our meal and the staff greeted us in there usually friendly manner all was going well until the starters arrived, they were bland and tasteless no one really said anything as I don't think they wanted to embarrass me as I had said so many great things about the restaurant. The main course came out late and at this stage no one could hide it, my friend had to send back his meal it was so awful and the second meal he got instead was not much better. Everyone's food was tasteless I don't know what was going on that night as I have never experienced the food like that before maybe its a new chef or just a bad night in the kitchen? I wont give up on Bistro Spice I will try it again as its somewhere I have always enjoyed eating. I hope they read this review and take my comments on board and fix the problems that happened that night.

Bistro Spice 3.5 star review: Rang Bistro tonight ie16/12/2012 to book a meal for two.Informed them that i had a Menupage voucher.Told it was out of date .My 3 vouchers have no expiry date.Told it was on 2nd page of voucher. There is no 2nd page.Is this Sharp Practice on somebody's part.
We have been regular customers of Bistro Spice since its opening & have always enjoyed their food,The management changed last summer.
We were told the Manager would ring me back.I am still waiting for that call with interest.

Bistro Spice 5.0 star review: I have eaten at this restaurant numerous times with my partner and with friends and Iv also gotten many takeaways from here also. They never disappoint. The food is always delicious, quite authentic and the deserts are soooo yum! My fav being the Sticky Toffee Ice-cream Cake. The menu has lots to choose from, its reasonably priced and they have a great early bird. The restaurant is small and cozy and fills up pretty quick whatever the night which is testament to how good the food is. The staff are friendly and the service is fast. One of the great perks is the bring your own wine/beer and the restaurant is conveniently right beside an off license, so there no excuse for not finding a nice wine to match your meal! I would recommend to all and will definitely be going back soon.

Bistro Spice 5.0 star review: Wow!

Second time in Bistro Spice. I think the first I'd been confusewd by the menu not being "standard Indian", so the normal Kormas, Tikka Masalas & Vindaloos are not listed. But, take your time, talk to the waiter/manager & go with it - a great selection of flavours.

5 stars on all fronts.

Bistro Spice 5.0 star review: We came to Bistro Spice on the Wednesday night, but it was very busy. The atmosphere was very nice, the food was so delicious, everything was so fresh, the staff were giving us great help when we were not sure about the deals, the potions of the food were excellent. The deals were well worth the money, and also they do BYOW which was brilliant, we had a great night. P.S. we were forgot to mention that our voucher just out of date. We were very sorry about it and we were gald that they accepted our voucher.

Bistro Spice 5.0 star review: Got vouchers from Menupages.ie, it's our first time visit Nepalese restaurant. We had great night over here, wonderful food, the food were just so tasty, and the services were great, the staff were so friendly. And also they accepted our expired voucher, we were so surprised that, it was our mistake to bring in the out date voucher. We are really want to say thanks again for the offer, and we did have a great night out. Thanks a milliom to all the staff from Bistro Spice. We will definitely come back again!!!

Bistro Spice 3.0 star review: Had menupages voucher so booked table 2 days in advance for 5pm Saturday. However, when we arrived&presented; voucher, we were greeted w/ blank faces after which a man came out&told; us we'd arrived on the wrong day-the booking had been made for Fri.When I contested this,(as did my partner who'd heard me make the booking)he said that after the phone call, the girl who'd taken my booking realised my voucher was going to expire on the Fri &had; changed our booking to then.He said he'd tried to call me & couldn't get through (which could have been possible).
However, there was NO expiry date on the voucher-I always, always check the date before I buy and there was none on this. When I pointed this out, he muttered something about it being on the second page - there was no second page; only a few other terms & conditions above half a page of blank space. We argued our case -politely- & were told that it wasn't possible for them to honour the voucher-for which I'd paid €35 upfront. We realised we weren't getting anywhere with the man so decided to leave. There we were, on Monkstown main st,holding 2 bottles of wine! After a minute, the man came out&said; that they could give us a table, but only until 6.15 (by this time it was well after 5) and when we said no thanks, he said "well, maybe I could give you the table until 7" -said in such a way that it was as if he was doing us a huge favour. We agreed (didn't want to lose €35).
We were the first in and it was painful, but then other people came so that eased things a bit.
Food mainly good-wasn't overly impressed w/ tandoori prawn starter (yoghurt&prawn; flavour combo didn't really go),tarka dal tasty w/lots of fresh coriander on top,GOC naan we both thought exceptional; pilau rice deliciously flavoured. My BF enjoyed chicken tikka masala.Dublin waitress lovely. However, I would not go back because of the unfair way we were treated after pre-paying for a voucher with no expiry.Place not full-don't understand his unwelcoming attitude.

Bistro Spice 5.0 star review: We were here in Bistro for first time, coz we had the menupage vouchers, the staff were all very warm and friendly. The first impression of the restaurant was really cosy, well decorated it just felt like you were having dinner in your dinning room. All the food were well presented. Me and my husband had starter which were Tandoori Prawns and Chicken Tikka, size of the prawns were massive,The Raita sauce with the Chicken Tikka was great match, we order extra sauce to take away, coz it taste just so good! and thn we had our main the portions were huge and very delicious the flavour were so nice and fresh. the best indian food i ever had. i will definately go back and recomend to all who loves the indian food.the best indian restaurant..............
