I went here for a lovely Sunday brunch. I really enjoyed it being a buffé and I was able to taste many different things. The food choices were very good. I like the way it was set up so you get your starter, soup, main and dessert with coffee. We went there for a special occasion and the manager was aware of it and we were well looked after. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice treat on a Sunday.

WOW!..Pj's restaurant is the perfect culinary experience. My wife and l dined there on Saturday night and from the moment we crossed the threshold in to the beautiful dinning room and whisked to our seats,it was just the perfect evening. The food was impeccable and having eaten in some of the better restuarants in Dublin and some of the top cities in the world, this was up there with them. The service was fantastic and the staff were so knowledgeable, guiding us through the excellent menu and answering any questions we had on any one of the many dishes on offer. l had the fillet steak rossini, which was cooked to perfection, while my wife had the seabass, which she said simply melted in her mouth. From the decor, too the staff and of course the mouth watering food, this was just excellent and great value may l add. We both can not wait to return for another splendid evening. Without doubt the recommendation for 2009.Enjoy!

As a regular client of this hotel, I was very disappointed in a lunch there this week. Our company (as hosts) had booked a private room in PJ's and had agreed on a set menu. At the time of booking, I was horrified to see a supplement of €4 for Turkey & (at the time) Ham - surely this should be standard on a Christmas Menu? - which was already €35 per head. Unusually, service was very poor - we had to go to find someone to see why our guests were kept waiting for 20 minutes having ordered starters - bearing in mind that the choice was limited to two on the set menu. The split between the main courses (fish or turkey) was relatively even among the guests, but again service was quite slow and my fish and accompanying mash was frankly cold. I was unable to taste the vegetables, as the mixed selection included mushrooms, to which I am allergic - this in spite of the fact that the hotel had been advised of this at the time of booking and it was clearly marked on our booking sheet. Profiteroles, which completed my meal, were fine. As mentioned, we are regular clients of the hotel - there were at least two other lunch functions on on the day, and I can only assume that the A-team (and possibly also the B-team) staff were involved in those. Contrast this to a well-know and award-winning city centre restaurant which I visited a day later - only €5 per head more expensive for the set lunch, but excellent food and superlative service. Hotels need to raise the bar to keep up.
