Kept it old skool and simple last night & it was pretty good! For starters I had the spring rolls - huge, crispy and delicious! Then for my main the beef curry. It was really good, the beef was so nice and tender & loads of onions! The fried rice was pretty good too - all in all a lovely meal.

Have gotten take away from here and each time the food is delicious and piping hot. So decided to check out the €19.50 menu, 4 courses. Loved every single course, loads of choice on the menu and the food was so delicious and service was excellent. Cannot wait to come back again and try something else, I know I won't be disappointed!

It was refreshing to know there's place that wouldn't let you down! I've been there on average once a month and always enjoyed the experience. The food was cooked to perfection and the service was also excellent. And also, the price was acceptable for people like me (not a rich man). So I put it on my list that save to go.

Really love this restaurant. Staff are great and very friendly. I get take away from here as well all the time. Food is really good quality chinese which can be rare. I would always have preferred Thai food until I tried here. Good selection on the wine list. The decor inside is really nice and the place is spotless clean. By far the best chinese I have ever been to.

Really enjoyed my meal here with the family. Very good chinese food in comparison to some of the places out there, and good service to match also. My main of chicken with cashew nuts was delicious but have had better hot and sour soup which I had to start. Overall a good experience and will return

Myself and my sister went here last Friday night. How anybody could think it is expensive is beyone me, 2 startes, 2 main courses and 4 beers €69 now that is not dear, I have spent more in American chain restaurants. Portions were just right not to much not to little. We could not fault the Imperial on anything, the food was to die for, decor beautiful and athmosphere was great it was quite busy was obviously word is getting out about this gem of a restaurant. The staff could not do enough for you but never bothered you either. I will definitely be back.

We stumbled upon this place pretty much by accident and opted for a take-away only. The food was absolutely first class, as agreed by both ourselves and a team of four children at home (ranging from 9 - 16yrs). Portions were large enough, and the quality beats any other Asian take-away that we've tried in South County Dublin. All that stands in the way of greatness for this place is the location ... who'd know it was there??

As most of the previous reviewers have said, this place has no atmosphere as there never seems to be more than 4 tables in use at any one time. If you are looking for good quality Chinese food in a pleasantly decorated and comfortable restaurant this is the place to go. The €22.00 all-you-can-eat menu is extensive (well beyond just a curry or sweet and sour), it is incredibly good value and the standard of the food is very high - Aromatic Duck and Yuk Sung are superb starters whilst all the main course Duck dishes were fantastic. The service is excellent thus this place is perfect for a quiet meal - not so great if you like the hum of background conversation though!

Ok I'll say that the restaurant's location isn't the best but once you get inside it is a great looking restaurant the decor is very nice. The prices look a bit expensive but when we got there they handed us a all you can eat menu for just 22 euro each for this i got a portion of BBQ spare ribs, skewered chicken with a satay sauce and 2 portions of satay chicken with fried rice as my main well worth the 22 euro. The only bad thing is the atmosphere, there was none out of 15 tables only 3 were being used on Saturday night at 8 but you should definitely give it a go and if you go for the all you can eat you will not be disappointed the quality of all the food is excellent.

I tried the takeaway at first and found the food was much better than other Chinese takeaway. Thus, I came by and tried the restaurant at one weekend with my friends. My friends and I were very surprised by the decoration, food and service. Frankly speaking, We've never come across an Asian restaurant with such high level of those. We understand the price was a bit high but worthed it.

I visited this restaurant last week with my friend, on entering the restaurant I found the decor to be very nice and modern. We ordered the half aromatic duck for starters, and it was delicious to say the least, the chef cooked the duck to perfection. We ordered the duck cantonese style with fried rice and the house special chow mein, the service was very good, and they got our courses out within 5-10 minutes of finishing our last course. Both main courses tasted delightful, although we did enjoy the food, and felt the service was good, we thought the pricing was a bit overpriced to other chinese restaurants, 6euro for a soup was a bit too much and couldn't bare to hand over 6 euro for a soup, side portions were also a bit overpriced, but apart from these we found the experience very pleasant.

It was pretty quiet but then it's only a new restaurant and not in the best of locations so dunno why they opened it there. The food was great, maybe a bit expensive for some (but we knew that having looked at the menu) but we could immediately see/taste why. The presentation of the dishes was great compared to most Chinese. Grilled lobster with melted cheese was very good. The decor was superb, it was all brand new and being seated in a booth-type area was comfy. The service was great and very professional for a Chinese. The manager was very friendly and quite a character! Even gave free lollies to the kids in our group!

Got a take away from here the other night, The total came to €45 which was not worth it at all. The chicken tastes really bad like rubber and the rice is definitely microwave, it was cooked in 5 mins (not even) which makes me question how its actually cooked. Probably not a good start at all for this restaurant. If they want to up their quality they need to spend more on their quality of meat or maybe a better chef.

We ate there on Friday night. The decor was shabby, size of dishes were so small and quality of food was far below average. The price is very expensive indeed. We were very disappointed with the food quality but the service was okay. The restaurant was very quite and there is no atmosphere at all. It's totally a waste of money! We don't recommend!
