Excellent food and service. There were no problems managing a large group (20 people). Everyone enjoyed it.

Beautiful food as always. One of my fav restaurants. Only negative was we were sat beside the window and I was freezing the whole time but food amazing. Also the side orders are now much cheaper with your main meal and steamed rice is free which is a big positive as before it really brought up the price of the meal.

We had heard of this place before we tried it. Nice food overall but nothing that stood out. Asked for my green curry extra spicy and was told it is already spicy. I said I knew this but liked it very very spicy. Seemingly this could not be done and I was given extra red chilli on the side. Was pretty good curry though.

I have been to Baan Thai Leopardstown many times and would absolutely recommend it. the food is fantastic and there is something for everyone even my 6 & 3 year old. I like spicy food so order the Red Curry but you can ask for dishes to be prepared more or less spicy depending on your preference. The value is excellent and whenever I see voucher deals I always buy as many as possible. Staff are very friendly and efficient. Been there >10 times and each occasion had been consistently good.

Using a Voucher worth €40 my friend and I expected much better value. As it transpired we went for the meal for 2 and had to add another €40 to cover the bill. I didnt think it was good value as there was nothing exceptional about the food. We could barely eat the Thai Green Curry it was so spicy. The rest of the food bordered of average take away. The Staff were very friendly and helpful and their friendliness was the Restaurants greatest asset. I am so disappointed that I actually bought 3 vouchers as I had intended taking my family out for a meal but I feel if I am going to end up paying €40 per person then I would definitely prefer to go someplace else.

I visited Baan Thai Leopardstown with a friend for dinner on bank holiday sunday night using a grab one voucher, 40 euro worth of food for 20 euro. I have been in Baan Thai many times before and this time I found it disappointing. The service was incredibly slow, we were seated by the window, and it really seemed like they had forgotten about us. The starters were lovely, my main course was really good but my friends was incredibly salty. Nobody came near us to see if we wanted any dessert so after about 30 minutes waiting we managed to catch someones eye over the other side of the restaurant. For dessert we decided to try their home-made truffles with a latte and a tea. The truffles were horrible, very bitter and the tea was cold. We then had to pay an extra 30 euro on top of the voucher which i felt was expensive considering we didnt get any drinks.

The food is always great in this place. Getting into parking for the restaurant was probably our biggest problem. The atmosphere and greeting was very courteous. The place was doing good business which added to the atmosphere. My only small quibble is that service can be very slow. It took us two hours to have a 2 course meal, and we weren't even having wine, which might have been an excuse to linger. I think it should have taken just over an hour. We were on Living Social Deal vouchers. Sometimes I find that we are treated differently when a restaurant is aware that we are 'on a budget'. Not so Baan Thai. We had a sharing platter for starters (the platter for 2 is plenty for 4 people unless you are really big eaters). The flambée duck was amazing (and well priced at €19) and the beef, chicken and prawns of the other dishes were delicious. We ate every morsel. I think fried rice and noodles are a little overpriced at €3.75 but it won't stop me from going back.

Had a nice meal in Baan Thai, portions are huge which is good considering the price of the main courses.
