Every time we dine here, we always enjoy it. From the gentle greeting right thru service, it's gentle and refined. The menu is authentic and delicious. The only 'fault' with last night was for some reason once our meal was served, we were left alone. No one came to offer another glass of wine, or more food, or desert or coffee - all things we probably would have agreed to. Only when we asked for the bill did they clear the table. Despite that, it was a great meal. We'll be back many more times.

Had heard great things from a few friends about here so gave it a go for a family dinner. The interior of the restaurant is amazing and there's a great atmosphere. It was very busy when we went and service was a bit slow because of that but the food more than made up for it, it was absolutely delicious. I'll definitely be back!

Lovely food but pity about the dismal service. Had vouchers so felt a bit neglected as perhaps not paying full price ?? Drinks & beers arrived fine, as did starters which were all lovely (2 x soup, ribs & tempura prawns) BUT then the main courses arrived before we were all finished! The starter dishes were then hurriedly cleared with 1 person still eating their ribs, and the main courses were shoved at us.. not impressed. Food itself was nice, massaman curry was best of dishes, pad thai was a little undercooked but ok. After dinner ordered an ice-cream and tea for 3 - Ice cream arrived but tea was forgotten about - after 20 mins I went in search of staff to ask again for tea and it eventually arrived. No sign of staff to ask for bill so ended up all leaving table to go , and paid balance on way out.. disappointing but hopefully just bad luck and would try again & hope for better service.

Four of us had dinner in Baan Thai Leopardstown last Saturday using Menupages vouchers. We all had starters, main courses and tea/coffee and 3 of us had dessert. There was also a coke and 2 bottles of wine. The total with supplements came to €137. It was a great deal and the food was lovely. Honey Roast Ribs, Tempura Prawns, Chicken Lollipops & the Mixed Platter started our evening. All were great. Then the main courses arrived. 2 Red Curries (1 chicken, 1 duck), Beef with Garlic & Roast Duck with Chilli sauce, accompanied by a good portions of Steamed & Fried Rice. We all declared our dishes to be gorgeuos. Desserts were 2 Affogatos (better than some Italian restaurants I've been to-it's such a simple dessert you'd think it would always be good but sometimes I've been disappointed) and Homemade Truffles finished off our meal. The Truffles were very rich but beautiful. It was fairly busy but service was spot on.

I went to the Baan Thai on a Thursday night and was surprised to see how lively it was. I had the mixed platter starter which seems to have changed its contents and wasn't as good as usual. It was all very deep fried. My friend had mussels which were amazing. The green Thai curry was mouth watering and truly delicious as was the prawns with chili. The food was great value and the staff were as always very polite and attentive.I will definitely return soon .
