Rochestown Lodge Hotel 5.0 star review: Excellent choice for our night out, seven adults and two children. The menus had great choices and the childrens menu had plenty of variety too. Among the dishes ordered were Chilli Prawn with noodles, steak sandwiches, steak dinners and Salmon. We all enjoyed our dishes immensely and the children had pizza which was done perfectly and was devoured. Dessert, again plenty to choose from. Service was quick, friendly & very efficient. The bill was suprisingly low for the amount of food and drinks we had. There was a band playing some great sounds which we all enjoyed and the children had a little dance.
All in all, a perfect night out - would definitely recomend and will be returning ourselves very soon.

Rochestown Lodge Hotel 4.5 star review: A very friendly Restuarant ideal for family eating. The three of us were shown to a nice booth style seating on arrival and a nice girl called Dorothy explained the different dishes to us I had a steak and my friends had lamb shanks which they thought were fantastic. The sirloin steak was very good and the vegetables and sauce were included in the price. The portions were large and left us unable to even look at desert. Apart from the quality of the food the attitude of the staff to the need of the customer was excellent.

Rochestown Lodge Hotel 3.0 star review: Went here for a family lunch on Sunday. Portions are huge and the food is average at best but I can see the appeal. It’s very reasonable 3 course for 18.95. The waitresses need a serious lesson in how to be ‘gentile’ or maybe it was because they were rushed off their feet. Totally average dinner, all I can say is I was fed!

Rochestown Lodge Hotel 2.0 star review: Would certainly not be rushing back here.....stayed in the hotel for the weekend, which was ok. Had dinner on the Friday night. Firstly there was only about 10 people in to eat. We were shown to a table & on sitting found the leather on seat extremely sticky. Moved to another which was slightly better. After I mentioned it to the waitress, another couple made the same point. Service was slow & food not an amazing experience. The staff did not have great English & spent their time talking amongst each other & giving little or no attention to the guests....whilst my partner had finished his meal, I was still eating mine when a waitress came & asked to take his plate....how rude is that. I & my partner felt so awkward & uncomfortable that I just told her to take my plate also. It bothers me that she couldn't have waited another few mins. Needless to say we just got the bill & left!!!

Rochestown Lodge Hotel 3.0 star review: Best steak I've had in a long time, but I'm a sucker for caramelised onions and it was more medium than the medium-rare I requested, still, juicy and really delicious, most everyone else had the duck which was very nice. One of our party had the salmon which itself was over salty on top of a tasty but again oversalted basil pesto mash, suspicions of a chef who smokes too much!? have to agree that staff weren't great and the place was empty but for us, still, the food is well worth investigating! Nearly forgot, the Warm Potato & Chorizo Salad starter was a pleasant surprise, perfectly appetising.

Rochestown Lodge Hotel 3.0 star review: Hotel was nice, restaurant too- but surprise- we had to order breakfast. In all other hotels you can take whatever you want- here I had to eat pudding which I hate. In the evening we went to bar and had lunch there- waitress said that we can order only from 18:00, but on the menu was stated 16:00, so she took the order. Most of staff had poor English - waitress sat next to our table and started to talk with her boyfriend over the phone. Unacceptable. But at least food was delicious. Recommend banoffi pie. Excellent
