Ordered take away from here and the food arrived well within the quoted time. It was hot and fresh. The dishes were very good size and delicious. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone!

I went to the Green Dragon for lunch and it really is excellent value. A 3 course lunch cost €9.50 and that can be a soup, a starter and maincourse or a starter, a main course and dessert. Either way it's terrific value. I had the chicken and sweet corn soup followed by the salt and chili shredded chicken, followed by a beef curry. Ok it's not fine dining and the atmosphere isn't brilliant at lunchtime, but hey it was a really tasty meal. The service was very good too. I would certainly go back.

I went here for the early bird menu and was very impressed. The layout of the restaurnt was very unique with different floors. The staff were very friendly. I ordered chiken wings in chilli seasoning and chicken chow mein for mains, the chow mein was very fresh and tasted great plus the chicken wings were unbelievable. This menu is geat value for money and I would definitly recommend it to people.

Went here last night with my fiancee for the early bird menu and was very happy with the whole experience. We had shredded chicken and skewered chicken for starters and both were very tasty. For main course we shared chicken and beef curries which were both some of the best we have tasted in a long time. I didnt have dessert but my fiancee had the House Trifle and she enjoyed it. For the three courses and four beers the bill was 48 euro which we thought was very good value and we will definetly be going back here.

Had a pleasant evening meal here with my wife. We opted for the early bird menu which represents great value with 3 courses for under €20. Service was quick and professional. I had chicjen and sweetcorn soup which was perfect whilst the chicken satay was tasty and well seasoned. Portions were a good size also. My one critiscism and it goes for most chinese restaurants is the selection of desserts which is minimal but nonetheless a very enjoyable evening. Location is right beside the graduate pub which is also a lovely place for a beer afterwards.

I came here with my mam for the lunch menu and for 10 euro its an absolute bargain. I had the shredded chicken starter and the beef in blackbean sauce, both of which were nice (not as nice as when I have ate there at night time) and quite large portions even at 10 euro. Fast service, perfect for lunch hours.

Went here one Saturday afternoon , one of party of five had been there before so he did the ordering for us all, the first dish was a large bowl of Chinese soup this was placed in the middle of the table and ladled into smaller bowls we all had two bowls, for mains we shared four dishes between the five of us, the sweet & sour pork was super we also had a crispy chicken dish, a beef and tofu dish and a dish of steamed rice, we also had Chinese tea a bottle for rather sweet wine. The whole bill was about 80Euro, and I am looking forward to going again

I'v been here about 3 times in the passed two months. We always go for the 10 euro lunch deal because it's just a total steal. It's ok food for a fantastic price and I always leave with a full belly and a smile. For 10E ya can't complain. I'd recommend the 10euro lunch deal to anyone in the area. If the food quality is the same for the A la carte menu then maybe I'd be a bit more hesitant. But thumbs up for the lunch menu.

A lovely meal and good wine. The scheaun beef beautiful, and a real tasty curry. The staff are real nice and speak good english. This restuarant is one of the best chinese in the area, and well woth a visit. Although on the first floor there is a lift for disabled people. Well done to the chef

Enjoyed a lovely ad hoc meal here last night. Everything food wise was great; very tasty. The starter of shredded chicken, hot and salty was great. There was 5 of us and all the food was piping hot! Service was also excellent; no problem when I returned my meal as I don't like prawns in batter. They made it up again without the batter. It was very empty which really does not lend to a good atmosphere; take out might be the way to go!

This was a great place to go with a few friends as there's a good atmosphere, and dishes were great for sharing.food was very good and they usually have good offers on. Only thing to complain was that the service could be better.

A splendid night out to say farewell to one of our friends as she leaves the country. Food absolutely fantastic - I had duck with nuts and mushrooms while I tried my friend's duck with pineapple. Green tea delicious! Waiting staff were a little slow, but this might be due to the fact that they have to go up and down the stairs. Normal dining area was not available as the air conditioning is not working.

Visited this restaurant for our anniversary and definately would go back. Had the early bird menu which was good value and the food was nice. Big portions. The thing I like about the restaurant was the service because I have found with a lot of chinese restaurants that they 'hover' over you and you feel like they are watching you but the staff seemed to know when you were finshed without being on top of you.

Local chinese restaurant for take outs and family meals. Nice food on par with most chineses in the area. Haven't ate in but for a modern contemporary building perhaps the internal decor should have reflected this rather than typical chinese decorations (I know this from collecting meals). Probably ideal for young couples & familys as I say.

I was here last week for the first time for a family occasion, and was a bit disappointed with this place, to be honest. The odd thing is that it all looks fairly stylish and classy from the outside and even after you've entered the building. However, the actual dining area on the top floor is curiously old fashioned and dated - the carpet, decor and furniture are all a bit bland and cheap looking. Of course, none of this really matters if the food is first class, but unfortunately it's not.The menu here tries to cover all sorts of Asian dishes and doesn't really succeed at any of them. My Thai Tom Yam Koon soup was a weak, insipid effort as a starter, (always a bad omen, in my experience) and my mains of shredded beef was flabby rather than crispy, complete with a fairly dull sauce - I've had far better from many take-aways. In fact, everyone in our party seemed to get a remarkably similar sauce with their dish - regardless of what was ordered. The exception being the "fillet" beef curry, that reminded me of the take-aways of yesteryear - a drab olive coloured soup containing nothing but lumps of meat and onion. Desserts were of the generic laminated sheet variety, and the coffee was pretty dire. On the plus side, however, the portions were generous enough, and prices here are reasonable enough by Dublin standards. All told though, a distinctly average dining experience.

a large group of my family went for a 40th birthday party here... after hearing glowing reviews from many friends i was looking forward to the meal. Unfortunately we got off to a bad start, with the waiting staff only givin us 6 menus for 16 people. We all ordered our own starters an then we decided on getting 12 main meals with sides so everyone could try. The starters were very slow to come out. Three people were still waiting while the rest of us had finished completely. Mains were better an came out nearly all together... Once we got the food it was very tasty an after trying a good few of the mains i would go again but maybe with just one or two other people instead of a large group. The value was pretty good though an they gave us two bottles of wine on the house.. Happy days!!!

Having heard positive things about the Green Dragon, I decided to pay a visit as a Friday treat, and the glowing results were fully justified. We had 2 Two Course Meals with sides, and a bottle of wine for €60; this was excellent value for money given the quality of the food, and the generous portion sizes. On top of this the restaurant was clean, comfortable and boasted professional attentive staff, without being over bearing. By the time we left it was about midnight, yet we felt under no pressure to vacate. Repeat visits are guaranteed.
