I have eaten here twice now, first time with my other half, second time with other half and toddler. The food is delicious and good value. The early bird menu idea really works as you are allowed anything off the menu, you just add small supplements for having prawn, beef etc. Great idea as it is not restrictive. For those of you with kids, this is a very family friendly restaurant, there is a kids menu available and under 5's eat free which is also a great idea. Our 2 year old was very well looked after by the staff. Not easy to fault this place -service, food, decor and cleanliness are fantastic!

After my husband raving about this place I decided to go along. Well it was a great experience. Lovely comfortable ambience, kind of living room feel about it. beautiful delicate and well balanced food. Whats really makes this place excellent are the outstanding staff. So friendly but not in your face. Nothing was an issue, they are happy to answer questions. The value was amazing...we had 2 starters, 1 main to share with rice and Naan (the portions for mains were big) and 2 beers, bottle wine for 65 euro! overall I think this place are doing a super job and as a new restaurant they have really looked at what people need now-good food, great value and lovely friendly service. Will definitely be back.

We have eaten in Kathmandu a number of times now since it opened at the end of summer 2011. We love the restaurant so much I’ve taken the time to join-up with Menu Pages to share my experience. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, their service is hard to beat. As the taste and value of their food it is definitely the best eatery in Dalkey in my opinion. Try the Shirka chilli chicken, it's my personal favourite on the menu, but beware I believe it can be quite hot if you do opt for the hot option – ‘exactly as it says on the tin’ I hope this review is of some help to people contemplating on dining in this fine eatery

Having had the best takeaway ever a few weeks ago, I decided to eat here for my birthday with my partner. I can't praise this place enough. The food is absolutely to die for, and the poppadoms are the best I have ever tasted. If you like hot food, the Sherpa Chili Kukhura is wonderful. The place was bustling, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. We went for the early bird which gives you more than enough food at really good value!
